1. EC: Yes. Now, as we find, there are very definite conditions that disturb the better physical functioning of this body. While the effects of the disturbances are more apparent, it is necessary - in considering that which may be helpful or corrective for the body - to make applications that will be both palliative and far-reaching in their significance toward the correcting of the disorders; for these have to do with the elemental forces in the eliminating and assimilating system.
2. These, then, are the conditions as we find them physically with this body, [631] we are speaking of:
3. We find the BLOOD SUPPLY carrying in same that which may be called HUMOR-producing to the nerves and tendons of the body. Hence at times with movements of the body in the extremities, and even at times through the torso portion of the body, there are the most excruciating pains; for the elements in same are as the fire to the MOVEMENTS of the muscular and tendon forces. They produce contraction; they produce inflammation to the tendons and to the muscular fibre, on account of the very forces that produce same, as we shall see. This makes for the pulsation and respiration to be very changeable in the activities of the system. We will find it will alter almost as the tides would; yea, following very much the same time and character of the disturbance through the cycle of change in the pressure created in the body-force itself. At one period or one day it may be more severe than at others. This is not so much from the atmospheric pressure as it is from the natural changes in the body owing to the psychological and astrological conditions in the experience of the body during this present period.
4. The NERVE FORCES, as we find, are under this same
631-1 Page 2
character of extreme distress through the very elements that are supplied in the ganglia for operation. For they are LACKING in the forces that make for the proper impulse to their activity. And there are more of the negative element in the nerve energy and forces than positive. Hence they become stiffened in their activity, as it were. Too much of an ingredient for the vital forces. It is as if one were combining dough and not enough milk, water, or whatever the carrier for the mixture might be. Hence we have a granular condition in the very ganglia themselves.
5. As to the functioning of the ORGANS of the body, [631] we are speaking of:
6. Here we find there have been in the body those activities in the mental and in the physical where indiscretions of emotions, of the activities through the system, have brought to the body influences and forces that have made for this creating in the very organs of the system themselves - as in the lacteal ducts, as in activity of the digestive or assimilating forces, as in those that make for also a contributory cause through the entering into the blood or fire of the system itself - through the activities through the organs of the sex body. [See 12/13/38 ltr. under 631-8 Background indicating gonorrhea or syphilis effects.] These have brought to the system these things that are as sears, or seared conditions to the organs of the system, that make for the assimilating in the gland activity, the proper elements or amount of the urea, the hymen in the blood itself. And a lacking in these elements has produced in the nerve and in the blood supply those conditions that have been shown or outlined here. These make for the conditions that we find disturb this body.
7. That all the organs are under the STRESS is indicated. That the assimilating condition in the system is affected - as the lacteal ducts, the glands of the system both in the pelvis and in the assimilating system throughout - is indicated. Hence the effects that are created in the physical structural portion of this body.
8. Then, in meeting these, it may be done here in the present surroundings, in this place, if the body will but accord self to those things that would be necessary for the correction. And, as indicated, to be sure palliatives must be used, but NOT in the form of DRUGS or of those that would be habit-forming in the way of any organ or that portion of the nerve system becoming dependent upon that element or that body for its activity. For using such in any condition of this nature is only putting off MEETING the problems of the body in itself!
631-1 Page 3
9. That there have been those conditions as indicated, that were indiscreet reactions or activities of the body, is apparent. And now to meet these:
10. FIRST: Do not (in the mental body) CONDEMN self! Do not condemn others for that which is the position or condition, either physically or mentally, at the present time. These are destructive forces to hold in the mental attitude of any one that is to meet such conditions that disturb the body, in bringing recuperation or resuscitation to the body- functionings of the system.
11. Then, first know that there may be accorded the body - in its present surroundings - that necessary, that will positively remove FROM the body-functionings the destructive forces in the system; that is to be brought back, as it might be said, to a fresh start.
12. Then, we would begin in this manner, being consistent and persistent in the applications of these things, for these purposes that will be outlined for the body; not as of rote, but as necessary influences and forces to be applied to be used to bring about those impulses in the mental, the physical, and the active forces within the body itself, for PERMANENT corrective measures:
13. We would begin by taking, for at least thirty to forty minutes once each day, the Epsom Salts baths - almost a saturated solution; remaining in the water for that period. Let this be tepid rather than too hot, or else we would weaken the body too much.
14. Begin immediately with taking the properties in the compound of Atomidine; six drops in a glass of water twice each day. Take sufficient of it, or for a period of ten days, so that with the baths it may be seen that it is permeating the whole body, and that the poisons are being eliminated through the respiratory system.
15. Every other day we would apply the Castor Oil packs, for at least three hours, across the liver and caecum area particularly. These should be at least three or four thicknesses of flannel well saturated with the oil and applied as hot as the body can stand it.
16. Take all the Olive Oil the body will assimilate, in very small doses. Take this regularly for the next ten days. Every thirty minutes take a quarter teaspoonful; unless there is the regurgitation or belching of same, then reduce the quantity but take it regularly - even though there's not more than a drop taken. Take it every thirty minutes; of course, except when sleeping at night or when resting and sleeping at other periods when it is not necessary to disturb the body, but we will get rest with these changes.
631-1 Page 4
17. As to the diet: Be mindful that there are the BLOOD and NERVE BUILDING properties, well balanced, but inclined towards those of the alkalin nature.
18. We would also take vaginal douches using the Atomidine; one tablespoonful of Atomidine to a gallon and a half of lukewarm water for the douche or injection that will purify and cleanse the general conditions that have formed from the conditions existent there.
19. Keep in the open, in the sunshine. Not too much activity.
20. When the baths are given there should be a thorough rubdown, and an oil rubdown at that, from the crown of the head to the soles of the feet, ALL OVER the body; ending, of course, with the alcohol compound rub.
21. Do this, and in ten days we will be a different sort of a body.
22. Abstain from any of the alcohol reacting problems for the body, either in drink or in diet. Hence abstain from anything of that nature PRODUCING too great a quantity of alcohol IN the system.
23. And we will find conditions on the near NORMAL DIRECTION.
24. Do not return to the activities that will bring those reactions, but keep up the changes that will be necessary after that period for removing these conditions entirely; and we will be near normal in six months.
25. Ready for questions.
26. (Q) Just how much exercise? (A) Sufficient that the appetite may be whetted, as it were; that's sufficient.
27. (Q) What kind is best? (A) Walking, in the open.
28. (Q) What should be the treatments after ten days? (A) She'll ask after ten days! Wait and see what she's going to do about this! Isn't it seen from that given that there's going to be questions in the mind of the body itself as to whether it will accord itself to these things or not? If it wants to make the corrections and get those proper things, it must DO IT; or else pay the price in the suffering that will come by the gradual contraction and formation throughout portions of the system of hardening materials in the muscular forces, in the extremities and in portions of the body - and gradually begin that of a form of ossification.
