Time of Reading 10:55 to 11:25 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [632]; this we have had before.

2. Now, as we find, conditions are continuing on the improve. There is the necessity, as we find in the present, for some change in the applications being made for the resuscitating of the vitality and the storing of energy throughout the system.

3. While much of that which has been administered should be continued, we will find that these changes or alterations will make for - NOW - faster improvement. However, it may not be expected that there will not be days or periods when there will be some anxiety from the conditions that have disturbed the functioning of organs; for the system has to - and must - adjust itself to the varied reactions that arise in the developments of conditions throughout this body, [632] we are speaking of, present in this room.

4. These conditions, though, we find existent in the present:

5. The BLOOD SUPPLY is deficient in quality AND quantity, yet the abilities in the assimilating system show for a considerable improvement; and the tendencies for the absorption of vitamins that are necessary for the proper resuscitation are now ready for better and greater activity.

6. Also the NERVOUS SYSTEM shows the ability for a greater response; and the nervous systems will be those channels through which some reactions may be brought and may be expected to react from not only conditions that have existed in the pulmonary area but those through the tendencies for the contraction in the lower portion of stomach and duodenum - where the first adhesions caused or brought about the greater portion of this trouble. Those conditions from the activities also of the kidneys may be expected to be at times an area of the EXPECTANCIES in the system for changes.

632-5 Page 2

Hence conditions should be kept in a manner where there may be the caring for the used energies in the system, that will not conflict too severely with the drainages that must be kept - and that are being, and have been in part, set up in the system.

7. These conditions also we find in the functioning ORGANS themselves:

8. As indicated in the pleura, this condition shows a great improvement; and not near so much tendency for the forming or the accumulation of the fluids in the system, but there is the throwing off of these in a manner that is more beneficial to the general conditions of the body.

9. There is a much better reaction shown from the tendencies for the temperature to be active in the system, or the great strain that has been exhibited in the system as related to the activities of the blood IN the body through the organs.

10. The pulsations are more regular. The activities of the heart beat are more regular.

11. In the stomach and digestive system we still find some of those conditions that must be removed through the absorptions of the system.

12. But, as we find, stimulations now of somewhat a different nature at times will be the more helpful to the general condition.

13. The activity of the liver as related to the pancreas, the spleen, the activities of the lymph ducts as related to the activity in the lacteals of the system show a better and a greater improvement than we have had for some time in the body.

14. There is continued the tendency for slow activity through the intestinal system, in an extent that at times brings reactions not well with the circulations between the liver and the kidneys. Hence the very high ACIDITY of the secretions from the system through the hepatic and lower hepatic circulation. The tendencies for sedimentary conditions that produce irritation to the bladder and to the activity of the system in these directions.

15. But, as we find, with these changes and these conditions that we find should be applied to the body, these we find will very soon show DECIDED changes for the better in the body.

16. Then, we would make these applications in the present with this body, [632] we are speaking of:

17. We would keep the oil packs across the duodenum, the liver, through the caecum and through the transverse colon; at least once each day. Sometimes, if there is the tendency for nausea after the eating, we would apply the packs two or

632-5 Page 3

three times a day. Not such a long period, but to make for the proper reactions and for the drawing towards these portions of the system the LYMPH circulation. This, TOO, is seen to be GREATLY improved; for there are at times now those tendencies for the respiratory system - or through the activities of the superficial circulation - to show moisture on portions of the body, which is GOOD for the general condition of the body.

18. Also we find, should there become distresses through the kidney area, we would massage across the kidney area itself - and over the bladder area, over the ABDOMEN itself, you see - equal parts of olive oil, camphor, mutton tallow and turpentine. This not too much, but just as the body absorbs same. Then place OVER this the hot pack - not so hot as to make for burning, but as to make for the accumulation of moisture - the hot pack of heavy salt, you see. Heat the salt and put in the pack, applying both across the area of the back and across the abdomen lower down - one bag of salt on the back and one in front, you see. These will RELIEVE the pressure and strain.

19. We would also be mindful of the diet, that there are those things that are easily assimilated, but that carry the strength; as in not ONLY the vitamins for the activity through the bone structure or the creating of lime, silicon and iron for the system, but also A, B and C - as we will find in the JUICES of beef. This would be taken in very small quantities and often, a teaspoonful or half a teaspoonful at the time and taken quite often will be very beneficial to the body. Claret added WITH same at times will be most helpful in SETTLING the stomach, when there are those tendencies towards nausea.

20. Also we would begin with the GENTLE manipulations over the WHOLE of the cerebrospinal system. These should NOT be DEEP in the beginning, but MAKING particular applications to those centers from which all portions of the system STIMULATE the drainages from the body. This would include specifically the 9th, 8th, 7th, 6th, 5th dorsal - SPECIFICALLY; the 4th lumbar and to be sure through the 5th, 4th and 3rd cervical, and almost in the order as these have been given. This would also include a gentle massage over the area of the upper portion of the stomach, combining same with that across the diaphragm area - or AROUND those areas where the first conditions caused the distress. This will necessarily be GENTLE at first, and given about three times each week.

21. Be consistent, be persistent, and we will bring normal conditions for this body, [632].

22. Ready for questions.

23. (Q) What causes the nausea and vomiting? (A) Where there have been the adhesions or lesions across the lower portion of the stomach itself, where the tissue has adhered in portions of the system, thus allowing the creation of lymph sacs about the kidney - as in the pleura, in their attempt to adjust themselves they cause or produce regurgitation. Hence that specifically given as to the manipulations, which we would give osteopathically, for those centers that make for the system to DRAIN normally, see? This will also keep coordinations between the OTHER centers where eliminations must carry on in a normal manner. Not all poisons are thrown off through the respiratory system, or the breath, or through the perspiratory system; not all are thrown off through the alimentary canal or through the kidneys, but each in their correct order and manner; and the conditions are such in the present that if these applications are made as indicated there will be KEPT normalcy - or a growing towards that each day.

24. (Q) What can be done to improve the appetite? (A) As indicated, the manipulations and the TYPE or kind of appetizers that should be given. We would include in the food values as fast as possible the olive oil, given internally in very SMALL quantities but often.

25. (Q) What can be done to eliminate the bile condition? (A) The applications of those things that have been indicated, with the manipulations.

26. (Q) Are there any other changes recommended for the diet? (A) Those as indicated we would add to those things that are known to be the easily assimilated foods. That which has been and is greatly desired by the body at ANY time will not be harmful, if given in moderation; as there are the requirements at times for those food values to keep an equilibrium between potashes and iodines - these in the food values which carry with them the vitamins as indicated ARE well.

27. (Q) Would it be alright for the body to eat some fresh raw clams? (A) Well masticated, one or two would be well.

28. (Q) Please outline a complete dietary program for this body at this time. (A) This we would not give in the present, for this reason: There are to be changes in the body, specific, as we make the changes in the applications as indicated. What may agree with the body today may not altogether agree at all tomorrow, see? But those things such as the beef juice, as

632-5 Page 5

the olive oil. Look on it not as oil, but as food; take it as such. If desired, the cod liver oil may be used; but we would prefer this in the concentrated tablet form. Claret or sherry taken with the oils will be excellent, in very small quantities. Predigested and semi-liquid foods, all of these are necessary. Of course, the juices of vegetables combined together; as we would find well the use of Gerber's vegetable juices combined and prepared for the use of delicate stomaches or delicate digestions - these would be excellent. And gradually CHANGE these conditions as the assimilations improve, and as the eliminations and drainages are helped.

29. (Q) As Ventriculin does not seem to agree even in the smallest quantities, please state why and best way to correct this condition. (A) Too strong for the system in the present; but as we set up the drainages more and more this may be taken, in very small quantities and gradually increased.

30. (Q) There is still a swelling or a growth at the left side which the doctors claim is sarcoma attached to the left kidney. Please explain this. (A) As we find, this condition is rather the accumulations that have just been indicated, of the fluids from the lymph, and is of that nature rather than sarcoma or sarcomatous in its activity. And, as the applications of those properties indicated make for the assistance of drainages from the system, this should disappear. We would take the Ash with the light continually, for the increasing of the oxygen in the system.

31. (Q) Is violet ray machine being used with Ash the correct type? (A) This will work with this type.

32. (Q) Is this swelling apt to come back again and cause even more serious trouble, as claimed by doctors? (A) If what has been given is used, little of this will return.

33. (Q) Is condition of the chest or lung area, as described in last reading, improving? (A) As just given, this is improving. Little of the accumulations are there. See what those conditions that have been created are causing for the changes in the system. We will have this body normal, if we will follow these suggestions. Do that!

34. (Q) Please state what is causing the rash across the abdominal and kidney area, and methods to correct this.

632-5 Page 6

(A) This is the attempt of the system to eliminate poisons and the extra quantity or character of the acids that are produced by toxic forces in the system. As the drainages are set up, this will gradually disappear.

35. (Q) Do present indications point to operative conditions being necessary? (A) They do not! Else we would have given it. For if the drainages are set up, and if these conditions are kept, it will NOT be necessary. As given, well - it would be just too bad, should this have to be done!

36. (Q) Which portions of treatments outlined in first and second readings should be carried through? (A) Follow these as outlined here, you see; eliminating those not included in these outlines given here.

37. (Q) Any further advice for the body's better welfare? (A) Know in self that there is being accorded in the body that in the mental and spiritual forces that will bring health, strength, life itself for the activities of the body. For all forces of health-giving properties must come from LIFE itself - GOD! and the applications are only making for the ability for that spiritual influence to manifest in a material way and manner. Pray oft. Know that He is nigh, and He will keep thee in the way thou shouldst go.
