Time of Reading 3:45 to 4:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [632]; this we have had before.
2. Now, as we find, there are some changes in the general physical conditions of the body; not all are towards betterment, but there has NOT been as yet - as we find - any considerable localization of the disturbing factors. While the congestions in the pulmonaries give distress, the changing for the stimulations to the heart's activity and the attempts of the body-physical, through the applications that are being made to increase the drainages even through the kidneys that are themselves disturbed, makes for the hopeful conditions. True, the temperature that is indicated is draining upon the system. But if the body is kept quiet, and if there are continued in the main the applications to keep the poisons eliminated and to keep the congestions from localizing in such manners as to disturb the clarification of the smaller quantity of the blood supply, the conditions still remain more and more hopeful.
3. Ready for questions.
4. (Q) Is it a stenosis of the valves or a leakage that causes the cyanosis? (A) Rather is it the sedimentary conditions that arise from the dissipations of poisons in the organs attempting to be eliminated through these channels.
5. (Q) Is a depressant indicated in the respiratory system to counteract the effect of the cardiac stimulants? (A) As indicated, preferably the necessity of a stimulant in a manner but not a depressant that would cause sedimentary conditions; for with such taxations these would become too easily localized.
6. (Q) Please explain just how the ultra-violet ray lamp should be used, and how often; and is the lamp now being used the right one? (A) This is the right character; and should be used at
632-11 Page 2
least once each day in the present conditions, for this stimulates the circulations by the relaxing of congested portions even in the deeper portions of the body; over the congested area of the lung (the left lung) in front and over the lower lumbar in the back for a lesser period - or a minute to a minute and a half or two minutes over the upper area, and a minute over the lower area.
7. (Q) Would you advise a blood transfusion? (A) Not in the immediate; for the blood is of such a nature itself that there would be caused too great a heart stimulant and be too easy to produce heart block.
8. (Q) Would it be advisable to move the body to a hospital? (A) Would not be advisable in the present. Rather would it be advisable to keep very close tab on the eliminations, as from the disturbances in the kidneys and bladder - and upon the BLOOD supply.
9. (Q) Should the medicine prescribed for the heart and bladder by the doctors be continued? (A) As those administering same see the effects and the reactions. For the BODY is STILL, as indicated, responding; and while resistances are low, there are STILL being builded resistances by the assimilation that are effective.
10. (Q) Should the Syrup of Squill be continued? (A) This may be discontinued.
11. (Q) Should the inhalant be continued? (A) This is most effective as an antiseptic for all the passages of the throat, the bronchia, the trachea; and should be continued.
12. (Q) Should the Castor Oil packs be continued, and how often? (A) The Castor Oil packs make for the disintegration and prevents tissue becoming too greatly involved such as to make for adhesions. Hence these should be continued once a day, or at least every other day; for they are helpful.
13. (Q) Should the Ash and violet ray be continued? (A) The Ash should be most certainly continued. Its activity is as stimulating the oxygen that is released by the use of same with the violet ray; and combats, making for effective forces for the body.
14. (Q) Should the Al-Caroid be continued? (A) Continue as it is necessary to make for the perfect, or more perfect assimilation that is of an alkalin reaction.
15. (Q) Should the rub and salt packs be continued? (A) The rub will tend to make for the alleviation as the body is quiet or being still; while the packs as the body IS still will not be as effective but rather irritating. So discontinue the packs, but continue the rubs.
16. (Q) Are there any other suggestions for relieving the
632-11 Page 3
condition of the heart? (A) Necessity demands that there be a relaxation through the pulmonary activity that the heart's action may be relieved somewhat. As we find, the stimulations with the relaxations by the deep therapy should be the more effective.
17. (Q) How long before the body should be able to respond and an improvement be seen? (A) It must respond in the next forty-eight hours.
18. (Q) Should the osteopathic treatments be continued? (A) These would be HELPFUL; but if the massage is done heavily in this area, the osteopathic manipulations would not be necessary in the immediate - though, as conditions improve, these would be the most helpful in stimulating the distributory centers.
19. (Q) Would you outline a specific diet for the body for the next forty-eight hours? (A) That which is stimulating, easily assimilated, and most strengthening. Of course, as long as the beef juices are absorbed in small quantities they will maintain strength. Give just sips often, to maintain strength.
20. (Q) Any other suggestions for the body at this time? (A) Keep hopeful. Keep those things about the body that make for the more cheerful reactions. For fear (or doubt) or disturbances to the mind, as it is sensitive in its activity, make for the greater hardships.
