1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [632]; this we have had before.
2. Now, as we find, conditions in many respects are very unsatisfactory. There still remains the recurrent reactions that make for the taking up of the strength and vitality. And the heart's action still continues to give distresses, with the flushes in the reactions from the organs of assimilation and elimination.
3. However, there are still the vital energies and forces existent. There should be the prevention of those accumulations localizing; for when the flushes from the poisons arise, these work towards the nervous system in such a way and manner as to make for weakening of the conditions. So, we would prevent the flushes from being so severe by removing the poisons from the alimentary canal, that the drainages may be set up by the dissipating influences to the disturbances in the body and thus be removed. So, we find that the enemas would be helpful. Not that these should be given so often, but keep the eliminations from the alimentary canal - for this will allay the flushes of the poisons in the system. For in the eliminating system we have the respiratory system, or breath; the perspiratory system; the kidneys; while the greater portion of the drosses would be eliminated through the alimentary canal, and if these are allowed to accumulate or to lay in the system, then they re-affect the system. Hence there should be the internal baths to allay these conditions. These, to be sure, should be near body temperature, and more of the alkalin nature; or a very small quantity of the saline and soda in the water would be most helpful. That is, use (in this proportion) a level teaspoonful of salt and a heaping teaspoonful of soda stirred in a gallon and a half of water. And in the last water, use about a tablespoonful of

Glyco-Thymoline - or Olive Oil; that will prevent the irritations.
4. Some strengthening may be had by taking the spirits frumenti, with the alcohol burned from same, prepared with the yolk of egg only - and be sure the egg is fresh. Do not use the strength of the alcohol, but the better grade where the alcohol is burned from same - but do not light same with other than paper. And we would find a little of this would be strengthening; more easily effective to the gastric flow of the digestive system, and should strengthen the appetite. We would not add this stimulant in quantities; just a little sip now and then should be very helpful.
5. These changes, as we find, with those combinations and the rest kept as indicated, would be the better conditions for this body.
6. Keep those attitudes and those activities as about the rest and the strengthening forces that we have indicated.
7. Ready for questions.
8. (Q) She still has heavy breathing when she exerts herself. Please explain this. (A) The poisons from affected portions of the body, as in the organs that have been indicated. Then the added conditions of congestions in the respiratory system and the pulmonary system make quantities of poisons that must be eliminated from the system; they form gases that make for flushes over the system. And these affect, to be sure, the nervous organisms, making for pressures that produce this weakness.
9. (Q) What is the cause of the show of blood? (A) The strain upon the system and the attempt of the body to throw off.
10. (Q) Is there any further suggestion for relieving the cough? (A) Only as indicated. Should we use sedimentary conditions, or those that would produce any relaxing in a way would only make for greater amount of drosses to be eliminated from the body.
11. (Q) Has the present condition of the body anything to do with the past condition in relation to the growth? (A) The effects of the body attempting to eliminate those dissipations of those influences that have affected both the kidney (the left) and the spleen; as well as - of course - the walls of the stomach itself.
12. (Q) What is the present condition of the lungs? (A) The congestions have been somewhat dissipated. While in the pleura there is still shown some fluid or accumulation, it is not in as great a quantity in the present as it was some hours ago.

13. (Q) How many times a week should the osteopathic treatments be given? (A) Three, four, five times each week; for these can only be of a very GENTLE nature - but there should be the proper corrective measures for the 11th and 12th dorsal centers.
14. (Q) Is there anything else that can be suggested at this time? (A) These as indicated, as we find, would be the better. We would do that.
