Time of Reading 3:50 to 4:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Detroit, Michigan. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.
2. As we find, there is still a lacking in the eliminations as related to the activity of the liver and the ASSOCIATED activity in the ducts and glands in carrying off the refuse forces or used energies.
3. Thus we find that the acidity, that is the natural result of such, produces cold or congestion or stiffness in the varied portions of the body. At times the effects are to the head or neck and shoulders; at others a bad taste, with a heaviness through the abdomen; heavy through the feet and lower limbs; and a bearing down, as it were, through the lower portion of abdomen; headaches, and general DEBILITATIONS throughout.
4. As we find, in the existent conditions:
5. We would use the Alcaroid AFTER at least one meal each day, preferably the evening meal; half a teaspoonful in TWO glasses of water. First dissolve same in a small quantity, and then drink another glass after same. This about twenty to thirty minutes after having eaten the meal.
6. Then the next day (after this is taken, you see; that is, after the first dose is taken), in the evening, take two Caroid and Bile Salts Tablets.
7. Then the next MORNING, after the meal, take two more Caroid and Bile Salts Tablets.
8. In the evening, of course, take the Alcaroid again. This should be sufficient of the Tablets, but continue with the Alcaroid for three or four days.
9. Then rest from same a day or two.
10. Then begin with the use of Zilatone Tablets, that will act WITH the active principles from that taken in a general way and manner. These would be taken two of an evening before retiring, about every third day, until three or four doses are taken.
11. In the application of the manipulations osteopathically:

12. Set up drainages for the general system from the UPPER dorsal areas. RELAX the lumbar and the caecum and the ilium plexus, and especially those muscular forces about the END of the spine; that there may be - with this general relaxation as will be produced by the activity of the liver - a relaxing of the SPHINCTER muscles through the muscular from the end of the spine.
13. Let the diet be rather alkalin in reaction. Then, let one meal each day - preferably the noon meal - consist only of raw vegetables. Mornings - citrus fruit juices or stewed fruits or the like. DO NOT combine citrus fruits or their juices with cereals, or eat them both at the same meal. As to meats - fish, fowl, lamb, in preference to others. No fried meats.
14. These should bring a reaction that should be most satisfactory to the body.
15. During the period that the first doses of the Caroid and Bile Salts Tablets are taken, do not get the feet wet or damp.
16. Ready for questions.
17. (Q) What causes severe pain during colonics? (A) Sphincter muscular forces. Contractions.
18. (Q) Should these be discontinued? (A) For the time being, or until there is a relaxing sufficient of the sphincter muscular forces.
