Time of Reading 4:05 to 4:15 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Michigan. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [633].

2. Now as we find, in many respects conditions are very good with this body. However, there are those anxieties from overtaxation by physical and mental conditions.

3. And, through those areas where there has been stress or strain upon the muscular forces, when there are not full eliminations, or when there is a little cold or congestion, or the effect of the poisons in the system, the body experiences twitchings of pain, disturbances with the eyes - which tend to be one of the weaknesses of the body.

4. If there are the proper manipulations to make the proper adjustments through the cerebrospinal system, for aiding in eliminations as well as relieving the tension upon the muscular forces, as well as the nerve reflexes and plexus along those areas especially in the upper dorsal that will aid in elimination - stimulating those areas especially in the upper plexus to the opposite side and through the cervical areas for the relief of the dizziness that comes over the body, as well as stimulating for impulses of activities for the sensory forces - we find that we should keep bettered conditions for the body.

5. When there are disturbances with the eliminations, rather than quantities of cathartics or laxatives, we would use fruit juices and vegetable juices. These as we find would make for better reactions through the body, and make for the adding to the strength and vitality of the body for the addition of the salts from both vegetables and fruits - that are the necessary forces for this body.

6. The use of Codiron for the body would be very well. For this body it would take at least three of the tablets each day, with the meals.

7. Ready for questions.

8. (Q) How long should the Codiron be kept up? (A) At least for six weeks.

9. (Q) He has had slight dizziness. Is this caused by the carbon monoxide fumes in the car, or is this a sinus condition? (A) Some sinus condition as well as the body being supersensitive to the gases, or there are the natural influences of same. But if a better balance is kept in the eliminations, so that there are at least two evacuations of the alimentary canal each day, the body will be able to adjust itself in these directions much better. But it is well to take greater precautions as to monoxide gases or ANY gases, and especially quantities of dust.

10. (Q) What can be done for phlegm that collects in throat? (A) As indicated, stimulate osteopathically the upper dorsal and especially through the cervical area. The circulatory forces or the impulses in these will tend to make for the better clearing. These as we find are indications of weaknesses, and there is the necessity then for the better cleansing of the system with the use of those properties indicated.

11. (Q) How is torn ligament and rib condition? (A) This is on the improve. At times the body gives way to same under stress or strain, or especially when there is a tiredness or excess of poison. But keeping the manipulative forces and precautions as to activities should keep this on the improve. It is better than when we last had same.

12. (Q) Should exercise be moderate? Can tennis be played? (A) Exercise should be moderate. Tennis may be played if there is not an excess of activity so as to TIRE the body so much, as to cause strain of a great nature on the muscles of the back.

13. (Q) What can be done for itchiness in ears? (A) The manipulations should relieve this, as well as better eliminations. This is the inclinations for the accumulation by poor circulation in the area. Owing to weaknesses through the eyes, there is a great quantity of the flow of the circulatory forces necessary. This causes greater accumulation of the drosses from used energies, then, and hence the necessary stimulation through the vagus centers and to those portions of the ear and to the face and head when manipulations are given; and especially to the back portions, behind the ear, above the ear, and towards the face and nasal passages.

14. (Q) What can be done to help tired feeling of eyes? (A) As indicated, this is a part of the general condition and should be found to be aided through the things suggested.

For the mouth, the phlegm as well as the throat and the excess conditions in the Eustachians, as well as the soft tissue in face and antrum and the like, we would use a warm solution of salt and soda as a spray. About half a teaspoonful of an equal combination of these to two ounces of water. Warm this, though; not cold. Spray throat and nasal passages with same.

15. (Q) Any other advice at this time? (A) Do these, and keep constructive in the thinking. Do not let worries of others overtax self. Not that there is to be a disregard of others, but know that as self is kept in proper relationships there may be kept a constructive force through the mental forces of the body in the thought of others and their welfare, as well as of self.
