Time of Reading 11:00 to 11:40 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.C. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [634].
2. Now, as we find, there are disturbing conditions that prevent the better physical functioning through this body. These are hidden conditions, and the effects are seen in the extremities, the torso, the upper portions of the body, that are the effects of disturbances to the glands and the character of the assimilated forces in the body; and are from infectious forces, as we shall see.
3. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [634], we are speaking of:
4. The BLOOD SUPPLY shows in the constituents the disturbances that are in the glands, and that the urea is lacking in the plasms that make for the proper coordination in the circulation; carrying more of those things that form or produce cartilaginous forces. Hence in extremities, or where there is slowed circulation, there is produced hardening or contraction of the muscular forces; the tendons becoming sore or inflamed, and then contraction. This also shows in the manner in which the pressure is created in the circulatory system in the central portions of the body; hence a reflex disturbance in the gastric flow in the stomach proper, forming gases that make for distresses at times in portions of the system. The reaction in the lymph has been to produce in the upper portions of the system swellings, and abrasions are hard to heal in a normal manner. The leucocyte or the warriors form in such ways and manners as to HARDEN conditions without there being the proper elements in the system; hence make these tendencies, and - as we shall see - produced by a condition in the lacteal ducts and glands of the adrenal, the thyroid, and those conditions that produce the varied forms of elements in the system.
5. As to the NERVE SYSTEM, here we find the effect of the disturbances; for with these changes in the flow of the
634-1 Page 2
blood supply we find ganglia in various portions of the system either from cold, congestion, overactivity or even from the lack of activity - becoming sore, stiff - as in shoulders, as in neck and head and at times in the torso, even in the feet, and all portions of the body at different times, dependent upon that portion of the body that is in its cycle of change; as there is constant changing going on, each in its way - or GROWTH, which makes for this cycle of change, and becomes affected. Hence the conditions are not as of a nerve condition, but the NERVES are involved in the condition.
6. The ORGANS themselves:
7. Head, neck, throat, in the antrum and the soft tissue we find the effects of a poor circulation, so that the congestions there have made for those effects as of tissue becoming active in itself through the lack of elimination of the used forces. Hence pains and accumulations there that have arisen from poisons accumulating in various portions of the system. These directly from the poor circulation in the throat AND antrum becomes as BURNING and as drying, and thus cause distress to the body.
8. The lungs ORGANICALLY are very good. The bronchi and the activity throughout the air tubes: With the poor lymph circulation, for the gland disturbance is a disturbance to the LYMPH by the activity from the lacteal ducts, there is a condition of hardening from conditions that existed in times back from the gall duct and the activity of the liver.
9. The heart's action, of course, is changeable, dependent upon the pressure that has been created, how much inflammation is being carried through the system; and though the organ itself becomes involved, it is only a reflex condition as yet.
10. In the digestive system, as we have indicated, is REALLY the basis or source from which the infectious forces have found their way through the system, by the disturbed circulation; hence producing the conditions in the body as we have indicated. The stomach itself and the gastric flow to the stomach more often are very good; there, however, are not the proper elements carried or produced in what may be really called the medicine chest - or the proper amount of hydrochloric, iodine, potash - these are the elements, of course, that act with their combinations throughout the system. It arose first, then, from a congestion in the gall duct. Then we had a strangulation that produced first, in times back, something of an acute indigestion (this several years ago). The caustics that were given or taken then produced the strangulation, which GRADUALLY decreased the
634-1 Page 3
activity of the system as related to the necessary quantity of iodine to act with the thyroids, to the tissue in the various portions of the system, slowing up the circulation, and the infectious forces from the throat, the head, attacking the soft tissue in the face. Hence we have an arthritic condition, or HARDENING of the cartilaginous forces in extremities as it is an inflammatory nature in the present.
11. The effect to the hepatic circulation has been rather to slow up the activities, causing painful passage of urine at times, making for irritation in the manner in which the activity of the kidneys and bladder is carried on; thus causing the distresses in these portions of the system.
12. The activities throughout the alimentary canal are changeable. Very sensitive at times; at others incapable of getting any cathartics to create sufficient of the lymph circulation to start the activity or to excite same. Hence we have all the lymph glands - nominally free of their proper circulation. Hence we have at times in portions of the exterior portion of the body very great itching, and at other times we have burning sensations in portions of the system; at other times we have hot and cold flushes over the body; headaches on top of the head; bearing down pains throughout the whole system. Little rest at times; at others, as it were, the body sleeps too deep, and yet the whole condition - as we find - is from too much caustic taken at one time into the system.
13. Then, in meeting the needs of this body, [634] we are speaking of:
14. First we would begin with very small quantities of atomic iodine taken into the system, in what is known as Atomidine. For the first five days take one drop in a glass of water twice a day (before breakfast and upon retiring). For the next five days take three drops twice each day.
15. We would begin also almost immediately with at least twice each week taking a hydrotherapy treatment; that is, we would first have an Epsom Salts bath, using a saturated solution of Epsom Salts - about twenty pounds to fifty gallons of water. Have this tepid, and lie in same for thirty to forty minutes. Then have a thorough rubdown along the spine, after sponging off the body, with a coarse or crash towel; massaging the body thoroughly, especially at the back of the neck, across the shoulders and across the SMALL of the back (This doesn't mean just at the hips, but just across the kidney area, you see).
16. Then, following such a bath and rubdown, have a COLONIC IRRIGATION.
634-1 Page 4
17. We would begin also EACH day and take at least four to six doses of Olive Oil; a quarter teaspoonful at a dose, about every two or three hours apart. Should this regurgitate with the system, then we would reduce the quantity but keep on taking same.
18. Be very, VERY mindful of the diet; which should consist, of course, of more of those foods carrying more and more of the lymph and white blood BUILDING influences. Hence little of the proteins as FATS, but proteins as of the vegetable nature; while proteins in the JUICES of LEAN meats are very good. These should be a portion of the diet, but not great quantities of fats.
19. Do these, and then in twenty-six to thirty-six days we would change those things that will be necessary for the enlivening more of the system. Do these, and then we will give the further instructions.
20. Ready for questions.
21. (Q) How often should the colonics be given? (A) Twice to three times a week, as given, following the Epsom Salts bath AND rubdown.
22. (Q) Will my throat get well? (A) Until we can change the circulation through the body there will still be irritations, but it will be found by these rubs and sweats that will come from the applications outlined, the condition will change materially. We would prepare a solution to be used as a spray in the throat, antrum and nasal cavities. To 1 ounce of grain alcohol, 85% solution, add: Oil of Eucalyptus.............20 minims, Rectified Oil of Turp..........2 minims, Benzosol in solution..........10 minims, Tincture of Benzoin............5 minims, Tolu in solution..............15 minims. Take a 1 ounce DeVilbiss spray and fill with lukewarm water and add 20 drops of the above solution. Shake together and use as a spray in throat and in head. This will ease the conditions. This may be used once or twice a day, but especially of morning upon arising and before retiring in the evening.
23. (Q) What's wrong with my finger? (A) This is from the general conditions in the system. Follow these as we have outlined for twenty-six to thirty-six days; that is, the treatments to be given each
634-1 Page 5
week, and let the whole period be of that time, see?
24. (Q) What shall I do for sore lip? (A) Do not make applications directly until we have changed the blood supply. Let it be rather a palliative treatment that may aid in alleviating any pain; but let's change from WITHIN and let nature take care of more of it. These may come in those specific changes in thirty-six days.
