Time of Reading 11:00 to 11:15 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Florida. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [635]; this we have had before.

2. Now, as we find, while there have not been the applications in whole that have been suggested, conditions are not as serious in the present; but are in the position where they might become very serious at any time.

3. These are the conditions as we find them at this time with this body, [635], we are speaking of:

4. When there is the activity of the liver with the digestive forces active in system, it becomes necessary for a secretion from the liver to enter into the flow from the stomach proper into the chyle for the proper assimilations, and the gall duct or gall bladder is that channel through which a portion of this secretion passes.

5. There have been - from water, the activity of the system from the diet - the tendencies for the accumulations in this duct, and when this then is accentuated - by overtaxation of the body, either from diet, the very strain from activities of the body, from heat, from cold, from poor assimilations, or from the eating of the wrong things or those things that increase or demand a greater flow from the duct - there is the tendency for this to give trouble; producing a heaviness throughout the blood system, as well as an accumulation that may make for gallstone colic.

6. Now, as we find, the concurrent conditions that go with this are apparent in the system (this from the external view, now): Easily tired out. Tendency for pains in the head. A fullness in the stomach proper, a forming of gases in the duodenum and in the intestinal tract. Pains in the right side, across the caecum area as well as just below the pit of the stomach and over the lacteal ducts area. Heaviness in the feet. Bad tastes in the mouth. The tendency for restlessness. Easily irritated at times; especially when warm, hot, or when there is any undue

excitement of any kind irritation is produced. All of these are, as we have given, the OUTWARD effects of the pressure produced by the condition as given upon the nerve system, and the disturbances it creates in the blood supply.

7. Then, to meet these in the present:

8. These we would give to beware of in the diet: Beware of bananas, apples, watermelon cantaloupe, too great a quantity of any kind of hog meat - unless it is very crisp bacon. No ham or pork or any of that nature. No heavy meats or fried meats of ANY kind. If meats are taken, let it be fish (that is broiled, or the like) or chicken (if roasted or parboiled, or the like), or lamb (if in stew or roast); but NO FRIED meats!

9. As to the applications, we find it would be well for the body to begin immediately with applying the hot Castor Oil packs for at least two and a half to three hours EACH DAY, for at least ten days; and make them GOOD AND HEAVY!

10. After the third day of the packs, begin taking after EACH meal a quarter teaspoonful of AL-CAROID.

11. When the Castor Oil packs have been kept for five days, then begin also with taking - EACH evening and EACH morning - two CAROID and Bile Salts tablets.

12. Throughout this ten day period it would be well for the diet to consist more of a semi-liquid or semi-solid nature; preferably more citrus fruits and JUICES of vegetables, see?

13. If these will be adhered to, as we find, we will remove the conditions.

14. We find that it would also be well each evening upon retiring to have a thorough massage along the spine with an electrically driven vibrator.

15. Do that.

16. Ready for questions.

17. (Q) Is the seat of the trouble the gall bladder? (A) The gall bladder. If the body will do as we have outlined, as we find, this trouble may be eliminated entirely. Do that.

18. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file
