Time of Reading 10:40 to 11:00 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., New York. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [638]. (In undertone, after long pause: "We have possession here.")

2. Now, as we find, from the physical or material standpoint we have conditions that disturb the better physical functioning of this body. These have to do with the coordinations between the sympathetic and the cerebrospinal responses to the activities in the physical forces of the body.

3. These conditions, as would be classed by some, are of a prenatal nature; yet - if these are analyzed properly; not merely from the psychoanalyst standpoint nor from the psychiatrist, but taking into consideration the pathological as well as the psychological - we will find that the psychic forces have been and are those things that make for the greater distresses, even in the physical reactions of the body.

4. We find gland secretions in portions of the body are deficient, and there is incoordination between the ganglia in centers along the cerebrospinal system. Where sympathetic and cerebrospinal or the imaginative or impulse body should coordinate in a cooperative manner with the impulses, these are deficient; and in some of these - especially in the 4th lumbar, the 9th dorsal and the 3rd cervical area - we have, as it were, bulbous conditions; or burses or pockets that separate themselves in the ganglia in these centers, and would be found by examination to be tender - very tender in these centers, with corresponding cold spots on various portions of the body; as from the cervical, at the pit of the stomach or just below the sternum or at the upper portion of the cardiac portion of the stomach proper. This is from the exterior, you see. While, from the 9th dorsal, there is a cold area just below the lacteal duct area, and another at the point of the hip or a hand span (sideways; that is, four inches) above the

638-1 Page 2

hip point on the left side of the abdomen. Then in the caecum there is a considerable area of distress or coldness from those burses' activity, or the ganglia in the lumbar area. These, as we see, are merely indications of the distresses that are affecting this body, [638] we are speaking of.

5. As we find, these have come on from a SHOCK to the nervous system, with a body already under a nerve strain; so that all portions of the body are affected at different times. Most any condition that the body may hear spoken of affects the body, but not as the body HAVING it; that the body doesn't have, but has everything else - or the one that has been mentioned about two points or periods before that. Not a hypochondriac, no. Neither is the condition purely neurotic; but a neurosis - as indicated - in the special areas that we have pointed out, in the cerebrospinal system.

6. The shock was more to the IMPULSE for that pertaining to creative forces in the body; hence affects not from merely the point of physical but of mental and pathological conditions.

7. As we find, these may be aided, in cutting short the periods; or depossession may be made by the creating for a balance between the coordinating influences in the brain activity and responses before there begin those periods of softening of tissue in any of the brain centers, or in even the cerebrospinal system, and producing a perfect flow of blood.

8. We find that it will be necessary for changes about every twenty-eight days; for while this is not being wholly accorded with the activities of the lunar forces in the body's activities, it does make for an association with same. Hence, we would give the following treatment for the first twenty-eight days:

9. Begin with small quantities of Chloride of Gold with Bicarbonate of Soda. Prepare these as separate solutions, in this proportion: Chloride of Gold.............1 grain, in Distilled Water........1 ounce. Bicarbonate of Soda.........10 grains, in Distilled Water........1 ounce.

10. Keep these solutions separate. Begin with a dosage twice each day of Chloride of Gold solution 1 minim, Soda solution 2 minims - added together in a spoon of water when dose is to be taken twice each day. Every other day increase the dosage 1 minim. That is, for the first two days take as above given. The next two days, twice each

638-1 Page 3

day, take 2 minims of the Gold solution and 4 minims of the Soda solution. Continue taking in this manner until - the last two days - 5 minims of the Gold solution and 10 minims of the Soda solution are being taken twice each day. Then leave off for three days. Then begin again with the 1 minim of Gold and 2 minims of Soda solution, and so on.

11. Each day we would have - not an osteopathic manipulation or a chiropractic treatment, but - a Swedish massage or a neuropathic treatment; beginning with the central nerve plexus - that is, when treating from the cerebrospinal system, begin with the 9th dorsal and work towards the extremities, using the muscular forces and the nerve ends to follow same out - rather than using the BODY-forces as leverages. For each muscle, each tendon, should be followed out to its end, you see. Also, when beginning with the massage over the frontal portion, begin with the solar plexus or umbilicii plexus and work downward - over the lower limbs to the feet and toes, see? and upward extending, of course, to the fingertips and to the head and top of the head, throat and neck.

12. It is preferable to keep away from the sedatives as much as possible; but we will find - to quiet the body - Luminal is the better, under the EXISTENT conditions. However, as the dosage of the Gold and Soda solution is increased, we would decrease the quantity of Luminal.

13. Do these, and at the end of the twenty-eighth treatment - or just before then - we would give further instructions for the body.

14. Keep the body in the open as much as possible, with as pleasant surroundings as possible. Never allow the body to condemn itself, nor have anyone condemned or disturbed by overanxiety in the PRESENCE of the body. But continue to make as much of dependency as possible, and look to the body as being depended upon for certain activities - SPECIFIC activities, in walking and in DOING definite things. See?

15. We also find that the diet should be well balanced; not too much sweets, not too much fats.

16. At the end of the period we would give further instructions for those activities that may be created physically in the experience of the body of [638].

17. Ready for questions.

18. (Q) What causes the illusions? (A) Incoordination between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal nerve system, from those areas or ganglia as indicated. We must create for the physical forces of the body that which will make coordinations in these areas.

Do this for the period, and then we will follow through.

19. We are through for the present. Copy to Sister " " Ass'n file
