Time of Reading 11:40 to 11:50 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [642]; this we have had before.
2. Ready for questions.
3. (Q) Will you describe the contributing causes for my frequent headaches, their effect upon the body, with suggestions for treatment? (A) The headaches, as we find, arise from the nervousness - a great deal - as produced generally through the system by the tendencies for scar tissue in lungs, in the abdominal area, to upset the stomach.
The body becoming then toxic from the conditions makes for the dull, nervous headaches that arise; making for pressures specific upon the nervous system in the secondary cardiac and throughout the hypogastric and pneumogastric plexus area; or in the upper dorsal and through the cervical area. These are the sources, as we find, for this general disturbances. While many conditions may be said to be contributory causes, these toxic forces that arise are the GENERAL or the main cause. Correcting these, we find there may be maintained a more perfect coordination in eliminations.
We would use the vibrations that may be had from a few adjustments, chiropractically or osteopathically made; these will be MOST beneficial.
Also we would add with same the use occasionally after meals, two to three times a week, of the Alcaroid; quarter teaspoonful first dissolved in a small quantity of water, then a whole glass of water added. This will tend to make for a better reaction through the gastric flow, eliminating these toxic forces from the system; provided the adjustments are made once a week or such matter, such as to set up the DRAINAGES generally in the system. Do that.

4. (Q) Do you see the system requiring other food elements than principally fruit, vegetables, fish and fowl. (A) These should be sufficient. Their quantity may be altered somewhat and a change may be made as to how OFTEN these are taken in their various proportions, you see. These, as we find, are sufficient. Nuts may be added as these become more and more palatable for the body, as the seasons for same develop.
5. (Q) Would the practice of continency be advised, to attain better health? (A) As this is a natural effect of an active system, it is advised that this occasionally be a portion of the activities of the body; for it aids in the DRAINING, or in producing that within the system which allows for activities that become dormant, stale, inactive, inertia, that make for distressing effects at times in a body.
6. (Q) Is there a negative conduct of living; habits or change in present diet, which would tend to create better physical balance? (A) This, of course, is a matter of expediency, as indicated, in the matter of making for eliminations and some alterations as to diet.
As to negative influences or forces, RATHER should the body maintain from the mental attitude a POSITIVE state throughout. For Mind as the builder will work with that the bodily functions to are given to act upon. Just as may be seen in nature, or in the entity's or body's own business or surroundings. [GD's note: Mr. [642] was a florist.] Any of the plant life will produce the best it can with what it is given to ACT UPON! So with the mind of the body, as related to its habits, as related to its relations with things, as related to peoples and activities of various natures, it acts upon that in whatever environ or that expediency that is set or held before it (the mind) as the ideal, see? Hence these changes from the morbid to more of the joyous happiness create, brings about in the experience of some individual unable to do for itself, some happy experience each day, and you will find the greater optimistic outlook, the greater constructive influence in the experience.
7. (Q) What improvement is noted in functioning of thyroid and pituitary glands since first reading? (A) These, of course, are quite different. There are better activities in these directions; but unless there is the keeping of this balance these will revert to old conditions, you see. There is a tendency ever in a physical

body, in this as well as in any other, when the mind and the body are not kept active, to revert to pessimism.
8. That is all the questions.
9. We are through with this reading.
