Time of Reading 10:45 to 11:00 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Mich. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [646]; this we have had before.

2. As we find, conditions show a great deal of improvement; yet there is much yet to be desired for a better physical functioning.

3. There are still the effects from an obstruction, or points of infectious forces that tend to make for disturbing factors in the activity of the system; thus producing centers or points where there are at times - in the effect of the conditions - the reactions of excruciating pain. However, those activities of neuritis or nerve pressure are rather a symptom than a disease or a cause; much as a scab would be on an exterior injury the natural resources of the body attempting to adjust conditions, thus creating an effect that becomes very discouraging at times.

4. Here we find the pressures and the points of infection are from disorders or pressures in the colon itself proper, in the present. While there are reactions in the portions of the stomach itself, and along the diaphragm area and the emptying from the duodenum to the jejunum and in the area of the gall ducts and the lacteal ducts in their assimilation, these are but reflex - while those as we find in the extremities, as in the feet and in the hands, show such a pressure as to cause an improper flow not only of the blood supply but of the nerve energies also. And these dizzinesses that occur at times, as well as the tendencies for the body to feel or appear - as it were - as if it were in a rotary motion, are the effects of the body attempting to adjust itself to the conditions.

5. As we find in the present, we would continue with the osteopathic manipulations about once or twice each week. These we would have for periods of two to three weeks, and then a rest period of two to three weeks. We would make particular adjustments in the lumbar and in the coccyx area,

as well as coordinating the hypogastric and pneumogastric plexus areas where the vagus nerves and the fifth nerve enter at the head and neck, or the 3rd, 4th, 5th cervical area - in the upper portion. The dorsal areas, naturally, in the 3rd, 4th and 5th, would be coordinated with same through the brachial reactions to the arms or the upper extremities.

6. We would have the high colonic irrigations sufficient to make for the emptying of the colon of that which causes a point of infection there from conditions that existed from adhesions that have been caused in the caecum area, as well as in the pelvic areas from the activity of the organs of the pelvis. These we would take two in one week (the first), then we would have one a week until two or three were taken, then we would have one a month until three or four more were taken.

7. Be very mindful with the diet, that the foods are of the alkalin-reaction for the system.

8. For the gland activity we would take the Atomidine in periods like this: One day take one minim in half a glass of water before the morning meal and before retiring. The next day take two minims, morning and evening. The next day take three minims. Then rest or leave it off three days. Then begin again with the one minim and increase as indicated. Do this through the whole period of the colonic irrigations, even to the three and four that would be taken a month apart, see? After the three minims then rest three days, and repeat in the same manner.

9. And we will find we will bring the better conditions for this body, [646].

10. Ready for questions.

11. (Q) What should be done for annoying itching on front of lower part of right leg? (A) These massages and corrections should relieve this. But should it continue, we would massage same with a small quantity of witchhazel, which will burn for the time being but will alleviate the itching.

12. (Q) What about the pains across the stomach? (A) As indicated, these arise from the reflections from the activities through the lymph circulation in the intestinal tract from the points of infectious forces that are to be removed by the use of the colonics to remove the fecal forces, and those that produce the congestion and cold and mucous that will be seen. And as there are the corrections through the manipulations, that will stimulate the circulation through these portions particularly, we should find relief.
