R E A D I N G

At home in a Time of Reading white house 3:20 to 3:40 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. facing ... on the 1st Road in ... coming out from ..., near ..., Miss. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: (In undertone, "Very pretty [home] - but should take more care - ")

2. We have the body here, [654] this we have had before.

3. Many changes as we find have come about in the physical forces of the body from one cause or another. Some are the natural results of changes - as in the periods in the experiences of the body. Others are from external injuries. Others are from conditions where a poison has been most effective and upsets the system in many ways. Then other conditions have been a part of the experience in a greater or lesser degree.

4. In the present, as we find, the anxieties have been a part of the experience owing to the excess flow - or the flooding at periods which has weakened the body. This as we find arises from two sources:

5. There are conditions in the cerebrospinal system that need correction, especially in the lumbar and from the 9th dorsal downward. Such corrections would enable the body to be free of much of the disturbances that arise at this time.

6. As we find, if this correction is done chiropractically it would be the more effective; but the adjustments should not be made without taking the whole conditions of the cerebrospinal system into consideration.

7. In the treatments and the massage and adjustments, make particular adjustments in the lower end of the caecum, and in the coccyx area. These will aid in relieving a great deal of the disturbance that has been a portion of the

body's condition due to the tendency for the prolapsus in the lower portion of the colon.

8. Hence the adjustments should be in the coccyx, in the caecum, or in the right side area, and in the areas to the 9th dorsal; coordinating, to be sure, the upper dorsal and cervical; though not so much adjustments other than the releasing or circulating of same so as to release the pressures.

9. Also for the general activity of the glandular system, owing to the effects that have been produced by the impingements as well as other conditions that have arisen from the poisons in the system (from the spider bite), we find it would be well to use a little Tonicine. This as we find should be taken as a tonic, and about a third of the quantity as would be ordinarily taken; or once each day - preferably just before retiring - take a quarter teaspoonful in a little water. Take this especially during those periods just preceding - or a week or ten days before - the regular menstrual period.

10. This as we find, combined with the corrections made in the cerebrospinal system, will adjust these conditions for the body; relieve much of the anxiety, ridding the body of the headaches and those tendencies of the bearing down pains through the abdomen, and the tendency for the lower limbs to swell some.

11. For the conditions in the rectal area we would use the Tim.

12. Also we would take exercises each morning and each evening. These exercises will also aid in keeping a better condition through the bodily forces and reduce that tendency for the increase in the weight. Take these same exercises morning and evening, for at least five minutes. Do not take them as something merely to be gotten through or gotten rid of, but see, feel, know - by the very activity - that which is being accomplished for the whole system.

13. STAND ERECT, with very little clothing. RISE gently on the toes, at the same time taking a deep breath and raising the hands just as far above the head as possible. Then, STILL on toes, tend to lean forward - just as far as the body can.

14. Keep these up until the body is able to stand ON TOES and touch the floor with the tips of the fingers! Each time the breath is taken rise on the toes, raising the hands at the same time. Just in the last two of these activities use the head and neck motion also; that is, the head far back, gradually brought forward, turn to the side, circle; or the head and neck exercises - taking the others at the same

time. This will aid much also in those conditions in the head and in the neck; and, with the use of the Ipsab, change much of the condition in the gums and mouth; as well as having the corrections to aid same - by the adjustments in the cerebrospinal system.

15. Keep optimistic; not only being good - mentally - but good FOR SOMETHING!

16. Make the environs about the home such as ye would want made for YOU, that will bring better cooperation in every respect.

18. (Q) What could be done to stop menstruation for good? (A) BEST that this be the NATURAL development of the body, rather than attempt to force a reaction in an already disturbed system. Do those things as indicated and we will bring the NORMAL conditions for the body in this direction.

19. (Q) What causes burning in eyes and what to do for it? (A) This is from the poor circulation, and as has been indicated, the head and neck exercises, as well as the adjustments.

20. (Q) What causes frequent excessive bleeding of gums and what to do for it? (A) The same conditions as given, that will be benefited by not only the head and neck exercises but the use of the astringent for bringing healing in local condition.

21. (Q) What causes sore places to come on bottom of feet? (A) Poor circulation, by the impingements in the lumbar, sacral and lower dorsal areas. Hence the foot exercises; these we find will make for the proper corrections. Do that.
