This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 25th day of May, 1931, in accordance with request made by self - Mrs. [658].

1. GC: You will have before you the body and the enquiring mind of Mrs. [658], present in this room, regarding the proposition of building a dance hall on the pier near the ... Hotel, Virginia Beach, Va. You will advise her whether it would be profitable and to her best advantage to carry out this proposed plan. You will answer the questions which she will ask regarding this, and also regarding the face lotion she is planning.

2. EC: In respect the proposed operation regarding dance hall as with pier, these were they undertaken on a large scale WOULD be - and would prove - VERY profitable. Under the EXISTENT circumstances, and the amount that would be involved, as we find, would NOT be a profitable undertaking - either as an individual or from group; but this should be reserved BY the body, should she desire that LATER this be gone into on a scale that would ENABLE same TO be made a profitable undertaking.

3. (Q) Regarding the lotion, shall I use the acid with the pure cream or the bay rum for a night cream? (A) The acid in the night cream would be the better, see?

4. (Q) How much of each? (A) So that the lotion - These would necessarily have to be TESTED for their various KEEPING properties and the activities upon the skin itself, see? and these may be made in the proportions for the various tests for different textures, and for the activities as may be for CLIMATIC effects upon same. Then a balance may be reached by what may be termed a division of same to meet - One would be of a GENERAL action or activity, with that of what may be termed the greater NUMBER of skins - see?

5. (Q) How much acid shall I use with the almond cream for an afternoon cream? (A) Just sufficient that the activities of same WITH the oils, or with the properties used in the cream, are active upon the skin itself, and this makes for a sensation that is pleasing to the texture or to the skin itself; but where this is to be exposed - that is, as of afternoon cream -

see, this should not be of a great quantity - about one to ten, see? one portion to ten portions of the cream, see?

6. (Q) Shall I use any acids with my cleansing cream? (A) This should be used about a one to five.

7. (Q) One to five parts? (A) One to five parts.

8. (Q) Shall I mix my rouge with an acid or bay rum? (A) Bay rum.

9. (Q) How much? (A) This again will necessitate some TESTING with same. These mix well, as has been seen - but those that are to make the KEEPING properties and the ACTIVE properties for their HOLDING, as it were, see?

10. (Q) Shall I use the liquid or the powder in coloring? (A) The powder will make for a better base, see?

11. (Q) Any further advice to the body regarding any of these? (A) These should be tested, each of these - you see - IN their many various forms, see? and by the time these have been tested three, four, five, ten times, then there will be reached that that will be of a base that will be an UNUSUAL, and a success that will be SURPRISING may be made from same!
