1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [661].
2. Now, as we find, while there are disturbing conditions, these may be rather easily corrected in the present; for there are specific conditions, and while we have a reaction in the system that causes disorders this is only a secondary condition and has not reached the proportions where it has become in any way constitutional, nor has it reached such a condition that it would not respond with the proper corrections.
3. These then, as we find, are the conditions with this body, [661], we are speaking of:
4. In some period, sometime back, there has been an injury to the spine - in the lower end, as well as an injury in the 12th dorsal and 2nd lumbar; that has produced the drainage or the cyst formation that becomes rather painful at times - towards the end of the spine. This is not so located that it has affected the nerve systems in such ways and manners as to cause distresses that sometimes arise from such conditions, but we would make corrections in the lower dorsal, the lumbar and in the coccyx end of the spine - with the OSTEOPATHIC adjustments, MASSAGING the lower end of the spine - or dressing the abrasions - with a compound prepared in this manner:
5. To 1 ounce of Iodex add 2 grains Animated Ash, well worked into same. Then use as an ointment. Well that this be covered with a gauze or silk gauze that it not only does not drain but that the effluvium or the drain from same would not despoil the conditions or produce an inflammation from same.
6. For the tendencies for indigestion that have arisen at times, from taxation of the nervous system through the secondary irritation from the conditions in the spine, we would take internally after the meals half a teaspoonful Milk of Bismuth with six minims Lactated Pepsin in a glass

of water. Take this immediately each day after the meals for two days; then skip two or three days, then take again for two or three days, etc. This will also tend to make for a better coordination throughout the whole of the system.
7. Do this and, we will find, we will bring the better conditions for this body, [661].
8. In making the application of the Ash with the Iodex, this should be cleansed - of course - each day, and dressed each day.
9. The manipulations would be given about ten; these would be given about twice each week.
10. We will find that these will bring the correct conditions.
11. Ready for questions.
12. (Q) Should an antiseptic be used in cleansing? (A) This is always much preferable; and an antiseptic would be a weakened solution of bichloride - would be the better condition.
13. (Q) What causes tiredness? (A) The effects of poisons in system, as indicated by the poor assimilations from the LACK of the digestive fluids in the system.
14. (Q) An operation, then, is unnecessary? (A) As we find, not an operation in the present. If this is allowed to drain, and an active force is produced by the corrections in the whole of the spinal system, this should be absorbed.
