Time of Reading 10:50 to 11:00 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [667]; this we have had before.

2. As we find, there are some changes in the general physical forces of the body since we last had same here.

3. Not all of these are for the better, for there are those disturbances still in the assimilating forces of the body.

4. So unless there are changes these may cause a deeper-seated disturbance, especially in the gall duct or in the caecum area, where there are still those tendencies for adhesions; and this makes for the nervous distress upon the whole of the nervous system.

5. Naturally, there is a sympathetic condition to this - or from this to the organs of the pelvis; so that there are periods when there is a great distress. Yet all of these are a part one of another, and the combination of these, with the use of those properties that act as sedatives to the system, produces a greater strain in the activity of the assimilating system.

6. As we would find in the present, the greater response may be had through first a series of osteopathic manipulations, as would make for the relieving of the tensions in the cerebrospinal system.

7. Hence there will be required a general application along the whole of the cerebrospinal system; not merely from the upper dorsal and through the cervical area but the breaking up of those tensions in the lumbar and through the sacral and lower dorsal area.

8. There should be at least eighteen to twenty-one manipulations or adjustments taken. These should be taken at least twice or three times a week, in the beginning.

9. Also we find the application of salt, heated, through the periods when there is distress through the lumbar and through the abdominal area, will bring greater relief. Heat the salt and put in bags or packs, you see, and apply to the

areas.

10. As a sedative when needed, we would find that Salicon will make for the less production of sediments that disturb the eliminating system.

11. Then as a laxative we would find Eno Salts preferable to so much of those that act as only a stimuli to the emunctory and lymph circulation through the intestinal system and thus producing a strain on an already overtaxed condition in the liver.

12. In the diets, not too much of those that are hard for digestion, but those that are digested or pre-digested forces or influences; as malted milk with egg, and at times using with same a little spirits frumenti (whiskey) - this in between meals will be most helpful for the body and give the proper stimulation.

13. Use also, to quiet the body at night, the Radio-Active Appliance. Use it consistently, not just one time and skip at other times.

14. Ready for questions.

15. (Q) What causes severe headaches? (A) The pressure upon the nervous system, as has been indicated, not only in the lacteal duct and gall duct area but those tendencies for adhesions or a filling through the caecum area and a sympathetic condition to the pelvic organs or the genitive organs.

16. (Q) Are the headache powders harmful to me? (A) As indicated, these may be gotten farther and farther away from if the manipulations and the low electrical forces of the Radio-Active Appliance are applied. These are harmful; and as has been indicated, when necessary another type of sedative would be better to be used or acted upon by the assimilating system - the Salicon.

17. (Q) Should the tonic be continued? (A) The tonic would be changed, but not until after there has been some manipulations to relieve these tensions; else the properties would not act well with the system.

18. (Q) Are there any improvements in the body? (A) Some improvements, but this great nerve tension that has arisen from these congested areas must be relieved, else we will have greater distresses.

19. (Q) Should there be more exercises taken? (A) The manipulative forces give exercise, of course. Then as the body feels better, exercise in the open as much as possible.

20. (Q) What causes the lump in side? (A) From a poor circulation. This should disappear as the

667-7 Page 3

lymph circulation is improved and as the activities of all those influences as given are carried on.

21. (Q) Is cigarette smoking harmful? (A) Under the nerve stress, sometimes it becomes almost necessary. In moderation, not harmful.

22. (Q) When should the tonic be begun? (A) Not until after the manipulations, and not the same tonic.

23. (Q) Which tonic? (A) Depends upon the changes. We would give it then. Unless there are many changes there will be required that which will act with the colon and especially the organs of the pelvis. Hence to give this in the present would be foreseeing as to what is to be the result; and the result is going to depend upon how consistent there is the application!
