Time of Reading 11:25 to 11:40 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [669].
2. Now, as we find, while the body-physical is very good in many ways, there are disturbing factors - and these corrected in the present (though some have been disturbing factors for some time) will make for much better conditions in the general physical forces of the body. While these produce rather a complication of conditions in the present, with the proper incentive for the functioning and the correction of those conditions as we find disturbing in the present, there will be made a change throughout the physical body.
3. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [669] we are speaking of, present in this room:
4. The BLOOD SUPPLY shows a disturbance in the metabolism of the system, produced - as we find - from the disturbing factors that are primarily the cause of the greater disturbances; that is, the glands and their effects that are produced in and through the functioning of organs in the system. Remember, as we have given, while these are very good in many ways, these disturbances should not be considered as being exaggerated conditions as YET; though they may bring - unless there ARE the corrections - GREATER disturbances for the body.
5. In the metabolism disturbance we find there are the effects through the nervous system, through WORRY, through over-anxiety here or there, that bring ON the greater disturbance; though the inclination and that which PRODUCES the easiness for the disturbances through the nerve system arises primarily from gland disorder - or a thyroid disturbance, which not only affects the body in various ways and manners but leads to such conditions that other disturbances become exaggerated in their activity.
6. As indicated, the NERVOUS SYSTEM then is the outlet; as the conditions in the sensory organisms at times, the
669-1 Page 2
digestive area at times becoming disturbed, the heaviness through the extremities of the body, the conditions that make for a benumbing in the body. All are the effects of the system's attempting to adjust itself through the stresses placed on same through this activity.
7. As to the functioning of the ORGANS themselves; brain forces and the dissemination of same are very good. Those conditions in the sympathetic as related to the sensory system - the vision, and the conditions in the soft tissue of the face at times - make for the attempt of the body to adjust itself; working, as it were, under a strained condition. While never very MUCH disturbed, save for short periods, it is CONSTANTLY under this strain.
8. The thyroid activity and the effects of same upon the system - as produce the balancings within the system, or may be called a portion of the effect to that governing portions of the body - show effects as created in the circulation, in the activity of the various organs that become disordered at times; that are, as it were, running without GOVERNING the impulse through the system by the inactivities or over-activities at times of this action in the body.
9. Lungs, the bronchi and the larynx - these are only in sympathetic conditions at times; not organically disturbed.
10. Heart's action also is under the same control, though the pulsations at times and the effects about same - these are the effects of the nerves' reaction to same; yet no ORGANIC disturbance as in enlarging or filling or the flow through any of the arteries in same, or even the connections between the liver or throughout the aorta artery or through the deep circulation; for it is more of a superficial nature than of the deeper circulation.
11. The digestive areas are very good in most conditions. At times when there come upsets, then we find a coordination - or a cooperation in making for disturbances in the system, through the glands as related to the mammary glands, the lacteal ducts, the adrenal glands, the glands in the caecum where we have a plethora condition in the colon area itself. It has not reached those conditions yet where these are as blocks in the system, but there is the tendency for this to produce - through the engorging of tissue about a portion of the transverse colon - a prolapsus in the ascending area. This at times, when there is the moving through the activities of the system, brings that feeling about the left side where there are tendencies for the pressures to be made not only in the organs of the pelvis but to the heart and spleen's activity; and it produces some dizziness at times. This is only reflex from those disorders that we find in
669-1 Page 3
these two combinations.
12. Then, in meeting the needs of these conditions, as we would find:
13. First it would be well that there be given at periods a thorough cleansing through the colon, by colonic irrigations; not oftener than a month - three weeks to a month apart.
14. We would take internally the Thyroid Extract in very small doses. This should be preferably given under the supervision of a physician who would also make the adjustments and manipulations in the lower dorsal and cervical area, as to coordinate the locomotories of the system with the eliminations through the alimentary canal. It would not require a great NUMBER of these.
15. And, we will find, through these applications we would bring the near normal conditions for this body, [669].
16. Ready for questions.
17. (Q) How often should the manipulations be given? (A) Once or twice a week.
18. (Q) And the colonics once a month? (A) Three weeks apart the first two; the others not closer than once a month.
19. (Q) Please state cause of pains in stomach and head since operation and proper treatment for the cure of these conditions. (A) These are the tendencies for an after effect in the system's attempting to adjust itself, or to rid itself of the effects of scar tissue - or pulling in the system. Hence the relieving of the pressure where where there is a tendency for the engorgement in the transverse area will also relieve these tendencies for poisons to back into the system from the lack of thorough cleansing throughout the system. As will also the activity of the medicinal properties for the activity of the glands; for this taken internally will mean not only the thyroid specific but all glands will be stimulated for a better activity; and aiding in assimilations, that makes for better eliminations.
20. (Q) Please state cause of pains in chest or lung area and proper treatment for the cure of these conditions. (A) These are more to the left portion. Reflex condition from those pressures as indicated in the ascending and descending colon area. This is a reflex condition only.
21. (Q) Please give suggestions to correct nervous condition. (A) These have been indicated in not only the corrections in the cerebrospinal system but the active forces for the glands and for the cleansing through the irrigations of the toxic forces that tend to accumulate.
669-1 Page 4
Doing these, we will find we will bring a much better condition; for without these pressures and with those releases from the disturbances in the plexus of the nervous system, the natural outlook will be much more optimistic and helpful to the body. Know that any application is only arousing each atom of the body, of the divine influence within same, and these coordinating make for the awareness of the presence within self.
