Time of Reading 11:15 to 11:30 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. Washington, D.C. (Body and enquiring mind, who seeks information, advice and guidance as to his life and work. Ques.)

1. EC: Yes, we have the enquiring mind, [670], this we have had before. Also we have the information that has been given indicating the channels, the manner through which the body in its mental capacities and in its physical fitness, through its activities in the earth, might fit itself. We have also those surroundings, those activities; also those needs material and mental of the body in the present.

2. In considering then that as would be counsel or advice in the present, there are in the present associations many different channels and manners in which the body may through its studies, through its application of itself in the varied directions, fit itself for varied activities; whether in those in which there is the greater or more thorough understanding of those things pertaining to the studies from the anthropological direction or whether from the classifications of that which has been studied or located or found by others; and cataloging same in such a way and manner as to make them more at hand or accessible for those that study or seek information in these directions. Or rather in fitting self through the study of these as a whole for its activities in the research upon the fields, or one that would be as a helpful companion for those that go upon such research for other findings that are necessary for the completing of information in any given direction.

3. These, as it appears then, offer such a large field of activity that at times, owing to the circumstances that surround the body, it becomes most bewildering; at times it becomes rather discouraging that there is not a greater return for the services or the activities.

4. Then in what more practical way or manner, or through what channels may the body then operate or act as to make all of these conditions, these circumstances, all of those suggestions that have been made, more a practical

application in the experiences of the body in the present?

5. The body is in the correct surroundings, in activities where there is offered the very opportunity for the preparation in any of these fields of activity as indicated throughout the experiences of the body's activities in the earth. Yet just the manner:

6. First there must be rather a cultivation - not so much as a social, but cultivate a congeniality with those in authority in and about the museum. And as the studies progress for the needs or the channels or the fields of service, where there may be obtained or attained the necessary links of evidence in this or that channel of activity to which the entity fits - or there is the calling or the urge within for the assisting in completing in this or that direction, be in the position that when such preparations are made, such organized researches are to be done, there may be the suggestion to those in authority that the body, [670], be included in or among those that are to represent not only some activity of such researchers or such archaeological group or organization, but is able, through the abilities and studies, to be of a service to such groups - and also of service to the Institute itself that may be a portion - through its research - of such groups.

7. These ways and manners. Much of these are laid out then as a plan. As to application of self in the various manners in which these necessary links for the various concepts are being followed in any of the fields of activity, these must be studied by the entity himself. Applications not as an authority, but GROWING to that end. For if there is the correct application, why may not the entity in some portion of its experience become an authority upon researches in fields of such activities? and thus, through MANY a channel FULFILL much that HAS been and may be given in archaeological researches that will not only complete many of those studies and form many of the links between the various civilizations in the various activities, but much of those proofs that are necessary in the field of study of EVERY direction may be a part of the entity's work.

8. Ready for questions.

9. (Q) Is there any immediate change that I should make, to further and hasten my training? (A) No immediate change save selecting in which group or which line of endeavor, whether those that will become active upon the field - as has been suggested - or whether it would remain as one who would act in the capacity of preparing the data for the study of others; or those of the greater research upon the field - which as we find for the

670-6 Page 3

entity will be more appealing, than remaining within.

10. (Q) What department in the Museum would provide the best opportunity for me? (A) That as indicated that makes for the research not only of the filling in but what may be termed the field work.

11. (Q) Are there any other contacts I should make? (A) As indicated, let the closer associations be by making the self indispensable, as it were, in a manner, to those in authority; these will carry, through the suggestions here and there, as the discussion on the various subjects may arise, by the activities in the various fields. You are on the right road, in the right place, in the right channels, the right connections; and where these connections for field activity may be made.
