Time of Reading 10:45 to 11:00 A.M. Eastern Standard Time. Washington, D.C. (Body and enquiring mind, ques. on life and life's work.)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [670], this we have had before.
2. Ready for questions.
3. (Q) What steps should I take at present to become engaged in archaeological field work? (A) As we find, there are continuously - or at each time, or at such times - the varied expeditions by schools, colleges, research departments that have an affiliation with those channels through which the body has had its training, or associations.
Then, as we find, with the feelings that are existent with those in authority - or the curator at the museum where the body has been engaged. Make those overtures to this curator for considerations when there are questions, or when there are the opportunities for the supplying or giving of information for those that MIGHT be of a help to those on such expeditions.
These as we find would be the channels; and as we find there are not only one or two eastern expeditions being considered but some from the western, or Northwestern University, the Missouri, and others in the farther west. Yet all of these keep in the closer touch with those very channels and opportunities that have made for the development of the body into such work.
Hence hold to these, and keep in close touch with them; and we will find these will make outlets that will bring that desired for the body-activity in these directions very soon.
4. (Q) What can I do at this time to increase my usefulness to a field expedition? (A) We would keep in that manner of keeping under the wing, or under the advisement for those very same ones with whom the body has been associated.

Not to make self, of course, as a pest; but offering self, and asking or questioning or seeking for that consideration as the body of the curator holds for the body [670].
5. (Q) Is it advisable for me to attend night school; if so, what course or courses should I take? (A) Only unless it was in connection with the very same character or nature.
As we would advise, rather take the advice or counsel OF the curator even as respecting this. Make the approach and the activities of such natures that the body is putting self, self's abilities, self's development, self's qualifications, wholly within the hands OF the curator.
6. (Q) Any further advice or counsel? (A) This of course keep with that as has been given. Keep all in a constructive manner; that is:
Know that in doing that materially that is answering to the chords or desires within will bring a greater joy, the greater satisfaction of any activity; yet keeping all with not a self-glory but the praise to Him from whom all opportunities and blessings come.
7. We are through for the present.
