Time of Reading 11:45 to 12:10 A. M. Eastern Standard Time.
1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [688]; present in this room. You will give a mental and spiritual reading for this body, giving counsel and guidance, and will answer the questions she will submit as I ask them.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [688]. This we have had, in manners, before.
3. In the physical, take some precautions respecting the vision. For there are those tendencies for disturbances that need not local attention for the vision or optics themselves but for the impulses to the circulations from the lower portion of the nerve reflexes that make for the circulation there. This will be most helpful.
4. As to the mental and spiritual aspects of the body, these are excellent in the present attitudes, purposes, desires. For, as has been indicated - and as is experienced by the body, that which may be founded in the spiritual attitude - that is seeking for light, life and immortality - must bring of itself strength and understanding to others. And thy purpose has been and is in this experience that there be maintained in the attitude of self towards its fellow man that the deeds of the body, the words of the mouth, be in such measures as to make more and more aware within the consciousness of each and every individual that divine heritage within the experience of each soul, that it - too - may know the truth and that the truth may set it free. Not only in physical depressions, physical obligations, but in the mental and spiritual as well. For the spirit of truth and those forces in the Godhead itself stand ever ready to give that which is necessary for each and every soul to become more and more aware of that divine influence which works in and through each one, in making the manifestations in each one's material activities, that which shows forth the love of the Lord in and for his fellow man. For, as the entity keeps that purpose, keeps that desire at an

at-oneness with those promptings from the inner self, more and more are the abilities of self strengthened in every manner, and more and more may there come into the activities the abilities to be and to serve and to make for greater and greater manifestations of those truths that have ever been promised in His holy name. Not as of other than that which may be prompted from within self. For thy God, thy Father, thy Brother, even the Christ, has promised that "As ye abide in me, so may I abide in thee." Not as in some great exalted way and manner, but as He has given - just being kind, just being gentle, just showing forth patience, just showing forth brotherly love as ye add to thyself faith, hope. For in thine faith, in thine hope, in thine patience may it be counted to thee as righteousness. And they that be in the Lord's service are counted as worthy of FULL acceptations, and to such is given that which may shine forth even as He has promised, "They that keep my words, they that ask shall receive, even that which is the desire of their hearts" that is in keeping with HIS purposes in the experiences of each soul.
5. So, thou hast chosen well. Faint not. Be not weary in well-doing. Say not within thyself, "The Lord tarrieth, the Lord hath forgotten," for He is nigh unto thee. He will keep and preserve thee; and as ye do it unto the least of thy brethren, so will it be and IS it meted unto thee. Let thy heart, thy mind, thy body, then, be raised in praise and honor and joy and service to thy fellow man. For as many hath called thee blessed in His name, as many more will come to know thee as one guiding, directing, keeping - as it were - those charges as concerning their turmoils, their strifes, their joys, their sorrows, their uprisings, their down-sittings. Yet He will strengthen thee and thy arm will be strong in His might. Let thy praise, then, be ever in Him. For thou hast chosen well. Be not fainthearted, then; for the day of the Lord is at hand and ye shall know and ye shall feel, ye shall see His strength shining as through thee unto those glories that He has promised to those that are true.
6. Ready for questions.
7. (Q) Regarding the piece of property I bought for home for crippled children, should I go on with this or try to sell it? (A) As we would find, this would be well to carry on; and may become a portion of the work of self as associated with the various group activities of the body. And through same, and the associations, may there be sufficient of the funds for the carrying on. Begin in an easy way or manner. But

as ye use that which is given day by day, so does the strength come for those expansions as to make such as an example of that which may come as the blessings to so many in thy service for thy Lord and thy Master. For as He has given, and as this is conceived in righteousness, His strength will come to aid thee. For as He gave, "As ye do it to these" that are bound in body, that are tormented as with disease or disorder, those that are tempted in those things that will make them more and more aware of that truth, so ye may be that channel that will awaken many. CARRY on! Dedicating self and this property to that service of those that are bound in the flesh. So may it grow, so may it become as a shining light, and stand as a memorial before the throne of grace. For thyself and thy activities have risen as an incense before thy Lord. Keep these in that way that others seeing may know and take courage and come to know Him even as thou hast!
8. (Q) Any specific advice as to how I should begin to promote this work? (A) First, lay it before thy Lord, thy God. Then, even as a suggestion to those that are being aroused to the fact that not only must one show one's faith but show one's faith by one's works in being, as it were, a helpmeet to the fellow man. And as these properties have been dedicated, and as the promises have been, they accept as little children; and ye will find not only among thine own associations and thine groups but ye will find many who will be GLAD, willing, to give of their service - yea, of their means - that ye may show forth that love in His little ones.
9. (Q) Regarding the advice just given as to my being precautious about my vision, just what should I do? (A) Have some stimulations to the 3rd and 4th dorsal center, and coordinate same with the 4th and 5th cervical center. These will relieve.
10. (Q) Should these be osteopathic treatments? (A) Osteopathic or chiropractic, just so there is the relief of the pressures there. Let the heart and the mind and thy body be kept in the service, in that way thou hast chosen. For WELL has been thy choice; and they that stand before the Throne, even thy Christ, make intercession for thee.
