Time of Reading 11:30 to 12:15 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. Washington, D.C. (Entities, who seek at this time counsel and guidance as to their spiritual and mental development, and connections in past incarnations, especially in relation to working together in healing work.)
1. EC: Yes, we have the entities here, [688] and [707]; their associations, their activities through the experiences in the earth; their relationships in the present that, as we find, may be made - by their associations and activities - as a unison of purpose in such measures, in such manners as to become those influences, those forces for helpful experience to themselves and as an aid, as a blessing to others.
2. In reviewing those experiences, those activities of the individuals in their journey through the varied experiences in the earth, we find many experiences or many conditions that become as conflicting influences. Or those that led each astray respecting the purposes of the other. Yet their source, their activity, their BEGINNING of an activity was through those periods; especially in the Egyptian, that made for the first separations of BODILY forces and for their cleansing in those activities to make for an individual activity. These in the present experience, in their present activity may be made to become as one in their purposes.
3. For as has been asked, as has been indicated in the experience of both, their activity for developments must be in the healing influences for the development first of self, for the blessings, for the hopes, for the aspirations that must arise in their very expression of that which is innate that seeks expression; that must be a portion of their own evolution, their own development in the present experience.
4. First, as in making then the application of same, we see that in their development they have ideas individually; yet basically, centrally, their IDEALS are one. As they each
688-4 Page 2
make their individual application of that which motivates their influences in giving expression of these, patience, persistence, consistency must be the basic influence, the basic truth, the basic force that would make for that which would make or bring into the experience of each, not what is ordinarily termed as development "down the road of life together" but rather UP the road, back to those influences and imports towards the light.
5. Each giving, each taking; each realizing the whole necessity of their making their expressions to be compatible with the purposes not of self, not of self-glorification, not for self-indulgences, not for self-aggrandizements that they may be in any instance just well-spoken of by others; but rather that the glory of the Lord, that the purposes which have prompted the heart of each, may be manifested. And this means first TOLERANCE as one to another.
6. There is the realization in the EXPERIENCES materially of each of the shortcomings here and there. Yet SELF must be effaced as to any conditions that make for fear, that would unseat the principles within self.
7. How, then, is asked, can these be made more and more compatible in their activities? Realizing the short-comings in each, how may they be made as a union of purposes in such measures, in such manners that they BECOME then as one in their expression?
8. Show forth in thine OWN life, each as one preferring the other! How hath He given? Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, thy mind, thy soul, thy body; and thy neighbor, thy brother, as thyself.
9. In what manner may these souls, as one, find then expression in bringing to those that are troubled in body, in mind?
10. They have their individual methods or manners of approach. To one it is INNATE and finds expression by the laying on of hands, by holding within self the abilities for the replenishing, the quickening of life itself in the very activity; by the MEANS of subjugation of those influences in and about others. To the other it is an activative force; one reaching or gaining its access through its SPIRITUAL development and spiritual import, yet means not only by implication but by the applying of that which may be termed as the use of energies in nature itself - that is the handmaid to every individual that not only dedicates itself but that makes application within its experience of the glories that the Lord hath poured into the minds and hearts of the children of men, that they may know!
11. Then unifying these, let both in their own method, in
688-4 Page 3
their own manner apply same; yet knowing deep within self that the SOURCE of power, the SOURCE of might, the SOURCE of grace, the SOURCE of mercy, the SOURCE of life, the SOURCE of health comes only from the LIVING God!
12. And each then becomes as a stay one for the other; becoming as a prop, as a brace, as a helpmeet.
13. In these manners, through the effacing of self, these influences may be wrought in such manners that many, MANY will call them blessed, MANY will give the glory to God; not to them, not to their efforts, but that they make themselves channels through which the glory and the might and the power of the Lord may be made manifest!
14. Not that turmoils, not that strifes oft, not that disappointment in the activities of men and of individuals here and there will not make for hardships. But EVEN THEN, if their purposes are only that they may - as one, effacing self - show forth the glory of GOD, they may become - through such experiences - a strengthening influence one to another.
15. Through that which has been given each in their experiences in the earth is shown how they have had this or that in their experiences which has created, has builded the present conflicting influences. MEET THEM! In what? He, thy King, thy Lord; yea, thy Brother hath SHOWN thee the way! "I am the way; I am the water of life." Drink ye DEEP of same, that the healing you each may administer to others may flow as His love through thee! For love healeth the wounded; it binds up the brokenhearted; it makes for understandings where differences have arisen. For GOD IS love.
16. And as He gave, as He allowed, as He purposed: The children of men through their brother, Jesus, might KNOW the way; because He comes to the hearts of those that seek, not those that are indifferent, not to those that pass by; not to those that seek for self, for self's glory, for self's gratification, but that the love of God may be manifested! For "I in the Father and thee in me may KNOW the truth and the truth shall - and does make you free."
17. In these manners, in these ways, studying one another; not as to finding differences but as to union of purposes, as to the GLORIFYING of that Savior of men, that makes for love that binds the hearts of the children of men as in oneness of ways and manners, that brings peace and happiness and joy, that maketh not afraid, that brings to those that seek those things that make for peace and joy and harmony. And as such they are the children of God.
18. Ready for questions.
688-4 Page 4
19. (Q) Would it be advisable for us to unite in matrimony? (A) This has been given. Rather let each know that those things that are before thee are of the Lord, not of thyself; that the strength of either may be but HELPING as one to another. And ye will find, let others say as they may, let others do as they wish, but "As for us - 'As for me, as for my house' - we will serve a living God," by the gentleness, by the kindness, by the patience, by the long-suffering to the sons of men. Let GOD give the increase. For the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof. And we, and ye as His children, live the life - in ONENESS of purpose to those measures that through thy hands, through thy associations, through thy love as one for another in Him, ye may be the means, the channel, through which others may know the living God. Living each YOUR life, to be sure, but in Him, in His ways.
20. (Q) Were we associated in the period just before this life in the present land of nativity, as Tecum Tec and as Elsa Stroble? (A) Tecum Tec there oft, as indicated from the information which has been supplied, gave much of that which aided in the interpretation of nature TO those in that experience. In this manner was the association. Each might be said to have - from the MENTAL angle - worshipped from afar.
21. (Q) What was the association at that time, and how may the urges from that incarnation be used constructively in the present? (A) As just indicated, all must be made applicable or practical in the experiences of each. As then each saw the best, the beauty of each as from afar, in the present each seek THAT - not the differences! The shortcomings of each are understood, but cover them up with the BEAUTIES of each; in such ways and manners that those things that were seen then in their activities may be experienced - in the beauty of nature, in the HEALINGS as from the herb, in the beauties of the plumage of the bird, in the beauties and the songs of nature. So see the song, see the beauty, see the abilities of each in their own sphere, and AID YE ONE ANOTHER in these directions! Thus ye bind together the best in each and ye overcome in the other and in each those differences, and not magnify them!
22. (Q) We desire to undertake a healing work together. Explain why we are drawn together and yet repelled at times.
688-4 Page 5
(A) Just as has been indicated; one is an activative force, the other becomes not a negative but as an impelling force from within self by a SUBJUGATION of the influences about an individual. THESE become the repellent forces one in another, as has been given. In seeking then to find union, as we have just indicated and given in that just said, if ye seek the beauties in each and unite in the efforts of each they become as a stay one for another. See? For, as a crude illustration: Two brooks in all of their beauty, in all of their freshness, seek to wend their ways upon the bosom of the earth; each enjoying the beauties that they are given. Yet as they unite they give then strength and the power and the majesty of His beings in the abilities to give to those forces and powers of many. In a way they intermingle as one and yet each enjoys those beauties, those abilities, those effacements of self in this union for the glory of the power and the might that may be manifested of that they AS individuals worship as the one God.
23. (Q) Advise us in preparing for and beginning this work together. (A) Study that which has been indicated, and we will find all of this here. In making the application, do so in a union of purpose for the glory of God and not for self!
24. (Q) In group healing work is my idea regarding the need of four or six being present correct, as man and woman contribute one and the scripture gives, "Where two or three are gathered," etc.? (A) As negative and positive forces are manifest, and as negative and positive forces in nature manifest in the various forms of vibratory forces that motivate healing forces, these then naturally become as a MAGNIFIED force of the basic influence and principle that manifests. Yet the POWER is found as within, and it is poured out in group for the healing of many.
25. (Q) What was the association between us as Silas and the mother of Bartimaeus, at the time of Christ? (A) These, as we find, as might be put in the common term: The mother of Bartimaeus was much older than Silas, see? and as one that cared for him.
688-4 Page 6
As the mother makes for the necessary influences by making of self nothing that the young may grow, so did the mother of Bartimaeus make for those experiences in counseling, in advising. And yet as the power rose within the expressions of Silas, the gentleness, the kindness that was poured back into the mother heart made for GLORY to GOD for His love to the children of men. See? As they each then found that within themselves which expressed the glory of the Father, so apply self in the present. For the lesson of the Teacher, the Christ, the Master is to look within SELF; "for of myself I can do NOTHING," but it is the God that worketh within thee! So did they find in all experiences that if credit is taken here, or if it is sought that others thank thee or bless thee or praise thee for the efforts that ye put forth, then ye are seeking SELF-glory; the ego of self is seeking expression! In the application in the present, then, mind not high things; condescend rather to things of low estate. Humble thyself as one to another, as ye did through those experiences, and so manifest in Him - how that the king even of kings suffered with those that would betray even His fellow man. So in these applications, hold fast to that love that He gave, and ye will find peace and harmony, much strength and much power that is gained only in HUMBLING of self and self's own emotions, self's own self!
26. (Q) What was our association in the Egyptian period and how do the urges developed there influence us in the present? (A) As has been indicated, there they came as from ONE! Now they seek in their present associations to again be united as a purposefulness. For in those experiences they were as one, as man and wife, as body and body. So their activity then was rather as those aidings in the purifying of the body from the appendages that were of the animal nature, those things that beset men in their emotions in the present. Hence this represents then, as in their experience, as in their evolution, as in their development, a union again of those purposes that were held during the Egyptian period. Live again those days. As ye would term them, live again rather the experiences; each giving this:
688-4 Page 7
NOT MY WILL BUT THINE, O LORD, BE DONE IN AND THROUGH ME THIS DAY, EACH DAY: THAT THERE MAY BE A REALIZATION OF THAT THOU HAST FOR US AS THY CHILDREN TO DO IN THIS EARTH OF THINE. LET OUR DAYS AS THOU SEEST WE MAY USE THEM FOR THY PURPOSES BE AS THOU WOULD HAVE THEM BE: EACH MAKING FOR THOSE CONCESSIONS, FOR THOSE UNDERSTANDINGS. WE KNOW OUR WEAKNESSES: THESE WE DO NOT DENY BUT THESE WE OVERCOME, O GOD, IN THEE! FOR THOU ART MIGHT, THOU ART STRENGTH, THOU ART LOVE! OURSELVES WE WILL PUT AWAY. THEE, O LORD, WE MAGNIFY BEFORE THY CHILDREN!
27. (Q) Explain our urges from the Uranian and Neptune influences as they affect us in the present life. (A) These of course come as innate urges. One as of the philosophical nature; the other rather as of a passive nature. These we find then become as sudden conditions arising, extremes. And these are as dashing fire and water together. For they represent the elements in the earth and those differences. Yet doth not water temper the steel? Doth not the steel supply the manner or means for the preserving of the influence of the water forces? Hence these understand; and as has been indicated, seek not the differences but seek rather the oneness. See the beauty in each, and these influences that stand as conditions that appear to be natures in each become as WELDING each into a oneness of purpose in Him that is mercy, love, peace and justice to all.
28. (Q) Would it still be advisable for us to go now to Alabama to recover the possessions left there by Tecum-Tec? (A) Only when the Jack is in the Pulpit. It will be another season yet.
29. (Q) Any other advice at this time? (A) Love the Lord, eschew evil. Do not find faults nor look for faults in either. Not that they do not exist, and that thou art not conscious of same; but more and more become conscious of the beauty in each. And we will find happiness, joy. Sorrow, hardships - yes; but glory rather that these make for a NEW DAY, a new opportunity for each to be the stay as for the other in THEIR seeking as one to be a channel of blessings to others.
