Time of Reading 3:30 to 3:55 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Washington, D.C. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [696].
2. Now, as we find, there are conditions rather of which the body should be warned; as to the tendencies and the things in the experience of the entity that are to be met, in the ways and manners in the physical that there may be the better channel in the physical and mental for those activities in which the body may manifest itself in its own mental and spiritual development, and in those manners that may bring the greater ability of activity within the entity.
3. While the body-physical is very good in many respects, there ARE those weaknesses in the physical - and the tendencies for the activities to lessen the resistances in the body; thus making for disorders that would bring the discouraging or hard conditions to meet in a physical way and manner.
4. These, then, are the physical conditions as we find them with this body, [696] we are speaking of, present in this room:
5. The BLOOD SUPPLY we find is very good in most respects. There are indications of the lack of perfect coordination in the circulation through the glands of the system, so that we find at times the tendencies for reduction of the warrior influence - or the leukocyte activity of the system; while the red blood count the more often is near to normal - what may be called the plasm or the urea. But those separations that make for that vitality necessary in creating the perfect coagulation, the ability for each organ to respond to its reactions in the replenishing and rebuilding through the physical forces' activity, through the mental activities that are necessary, THESE are lacking at times; by those tendencies for the body to release less and less through the glands' activity for the perfect cleansing of same. This slowing up will make for such a lowering of resistance
696-2 Page 2
as for the body to become subject to, or in, those conditions wherein exterior influences from any of those forces that it may contact may find lodgement there. THESE are those influences as we find that are necessary for the body to be warned against, so that there will be the greater development for the mind and the body. Well that this warning be heeded, and not allowed those tendencies to arise and make the body subject to influences that would be detrimental to the body to such an extent as to produce disturbing factors.
6. In the NERVOUS SYSTEM we find the conditions in general are very good. There is coordination between the sympathetic and the cerebrospinal. There is coordination between the sensory system and the responses to the emotional forces and activities of the body-physical, as well as in the body-mental; making for well-coordinated influences in the body. Yet these, of course, work - as it were - upon their own activities through the system. And if the vitality became so reduced, these would break under a strain - necessitating such reactions as would not be complementary to the better conditions of the body-physical.
7. As to the functioning of the ORGANS themselves:
8. Brain forces are very good. The discernments, those reactions in the effect created through the activity of the impulses are good.
9. The organs of the sensory system - as in the eye, ear, nose, throat, face, feeling, emotional portions of the system, in the activities of same - are very good. However, there are those conditions in the upper dorsal and through the cervical area - where the effects are created by the slowing up of the storing of vitality, through these conditions in the glands - that make for tendencies for a weakening of the responses in the sensory organism.
10. Throat, bronchials, lungs - here we find at times there are the external exhibition or manifestation of this disturbed condition in the impulses, or ganglia through which these portions of the system receive their impulse of circulation. And this slowing of the recuperative forces in the activities of the circulation, as indicated, causes then irritations and accumulations at times; at others a dryness. Yet these are not organic disturbances, but purely reflex and sympathetic conditions in the present.
11. The heart's action is near normal.
12. We find the digestive system is very good, provided there are not the activities such as - at times - to make for strains upon same. These recur from time to time through the nerve digestion, or nervous indigestion that
696-2 Page 3
occurs; so that these are again the effects of indications of those warnings to the body which are being given up at this time.
13. Spleen, pancreas, liver - the activity slows up - in its coordination with these variations in the quantity or quality of the impulse created in a blood supply, though the blood supply receives its impulse and its replenishing or rebuilding forces from the gland secretions in the system that make for the ability of the system to create - through its chemical reactions in the body - those elements necessary for the sustaining of vitality. The forces in the system that make for the better activities are well, yet the conditions as we find - where these effects are shown, though not outwardly in the present - are that there is a slowing up of their abilities in the proper amount of secretion, through the inability of the system to supply sufficient of new revivified forces in the system to take up what might be commonly termed the slack in its activity - or to overcome the used energies.
14. The eliminations through the system at times cause tendencies for accumulation of drosses, yet these are only temporary at times. And if the balance of the activities in the system is kept near normal, these - as we find - would be overcome.
15. As to the coordination between the activities of the upper and lower hepatic circulation, throughout the activities of the organs of the lower digestive system, eliminating system, the activities through the pelvic organs, these are very good save at those periods when the lack of the proper eliminations - or the lack of the proper sustaining vitality in the system - makes for a dullness that at times is overcome by the very nerve energies of the body itself. But it takes too much of the vitality, that is not wholly restored.
16. Then, in meeting the needs as we find for this body, [696] we are speaking of:
17. We would add to the system the elements that are little by little becoming less balanced in the system, or those between the potassiums and the iodides in the system.
18. So, for periods we would take INTERNALLY into the system very small quantities of the atomic iodine (Atomidine); not EVER more than three to four minims once or twice a day, but sufficient to make for the keeping of this balance. And there will be maintained an equilibrium throughout the glands; the thyroids, the activity of the lymph circulation, specifically in the lacteals and in the adrenals. And the activities throughout the system, in the various internal
696-2 Page 4
secretions in the organs themselves, will be made for the reception of sufficient of this vital force that is necessary.
19. The Atomidine would be taken in periods of three to five days at a time; one minim in half a glass of water twice a day. Then leave off for an equal period. Then take two or three minims twice a day in half a glass of water. Then leave off again. Repeat in this manner.
20. And to keep the system in a more near normal reaction, make for self a specific activity in the form of exercises. Not rote, but that which will be of help in maintaining the equilibrium for the whole activity throughout the system; as in this manner: Of mornings there would be the swinging, circular motion of the body from the diaphragm up. In the evenings here would be the swinging, circular motion of the body below the diaphragm; that is, the lower limbs, as related to the upper portion of the body - the quick movement of the limbs, with the body erect from the shoulders up, as the pedal movement. Three to four minutes of such exercise morning and evening will work wonders, and keep the sustaining of activities that will bring the better normal conditions to this body.
21. Also have periods when the specific influences of White's Cod Liver tablets would be taken, to maintain the vitamins A, B and G for the system - that will be found in these; and for the sustaining of the equilibrium in that assimilated by the body.
22. And we will find we will ward not only against the entering of outside influences but build for a RENEWING of the body that will be more helpful in every activity.
23. Ready for questions.
24. (Q) What shall I do to bring about normal menstruation? (A) Those activities that will be from the action of the glands, produced by the balancing of the flow through the whole circulation, will be increased or brought to normal through the very conditions as we have given here; for these work with all the glands of the body, as does the strength within the vital forces necessary in the body. We have given these.
25. (Q) To whom shall I go for medical aid? (A) Do this yourself!
26. (Q) Are there any suggestions for diet? (A) As we find, those that become subject to routine in diet must live by same - and their activities are hemmed. Keep a normal, balanced diet. Of course, as the body has learned, by mindful of not eating heavy meats when under stress or strain. Keep more of an alkalin diet, or those
696-2 Page 5
things that make for the better nerve and blood building forces - which will be the NATURAL consequences with the properties that we have indicated. As for this body, the better diet would be to eat what the appetite calls for - and whatever it calls for; but don't overload, of course.
27. (Q) Shall I always have my eyesight? (A) Always have the eyesight - if it will keep those balances in the system as indicated. We find that the exercises taken by self for the head and neck, the circular motion - not too strenuous, as a portion of the morning and evening exercise, will keep a perfect flow.
28. (Q) Any other advice for the body at this time? (A) KEEP the body-physical fit, for much good may come to others through the activity of the mental and physical body; and thus make for self a life, an experience, of contentment - with the knowledge that all are made better by the activities OF the body through this experience.
29. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (See booklet [which was enclosed] on Atomidine. Take, however, only as directed in reading; gradually increasing each day until three to four drops are given at a dose, then resting a period and then beginning again. I think you get about three ounces for a dollar, and should be able to buy it from a local druggist. If not, you can obtain it through The Health Home Remedies Co., Box 103, Virginia Beach, Va., probably much quicker than from the manufacturer. You should be able to get the White's Cod Liver tablets at most any drug store. GD)
