Time of Reading 10:40 to 11:00 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Alabama.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; with suggestions for help and relief of this body, answering the questions, as I ask them.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [711]; this we have had before.

3. Many changes are indicated in the general physical forces of the body.

4. As we find, there needs only to be taken those precautions for a better normal development of conditions for this body, as well as that body who will be dependent upon the Do's and the Don't's for this body through these developing periods.

5. First, there should be these as the Do's:

6. Do be mindful of the general conditions - as the lack of elements in the system; and supply these through an adherence to these suggestions for the body.

7. Do supply those proper amounts of calcium, not only for the structural developments of the body but also the deeper circulation and the heart, the liver and the kidney activity, and the general metabolism of the body. Besides in the diets (that may be outlined for this body), there should be taken CALCIOS at least twice each week, regularly, - Tuesdays and Thursdays, preferably, for the body; about the quantity as would be spread upon a whole wheat cracker.

8. Do also supply the insulin needed for supplying activities for the glandular force as related to the activity between the liver and the kidneys. Besides in the other foods, this should be supplied by the use of a Jerusalem artichoke once each week, with the meal - say Wednesdays; one about the size of a hen egg. Cook this in Patapar Paper. Put it in with the water cold, and after it has begun to boil, let it boil at least twenty-five minutes. When taken from the hull, prepare the artichoke with the juices in same, seasoning with a little butter, salt and

pepper if desired, to make it palatable.

9. Do have each day a thorough, gentle massage. Saturdays and Sundays may be skipped if so desired, but do have this each other day in the week. Better if this is done with peanut oil; along the spine, especially the limbs, and across the chest, the diaphragm, and then across the abdomen; gently, all the body will absorb pure peanut oil. Have it especially around the head, neck, and the upper shoulders also.

10. Then there should be the exercise of walking every day. This is the better character of exercise.

11. As to the diet: Have plenty of the whole grain cereals; that is, cracked wheat - well cooked; the whole oats, either cut or rolled, but the whole oat - and plenty of citrus fruit juices. Have at least two or three oranges each day. Do not eat the cereal AND the citrus fruits, however, at the same meal. One may be taken in the morning, the other in the evening.

12. Fish, fowl, lamb, brains, sweetbread and the like should be the character of meats. Have liver at least once or twice a week.

13. Do these things consistently.

14. DO NOT get feet wet. Do not give way to general feelings. Do not give way to the tendencies for nausea as they arise, so as to prevent the body from eating or from activity. Take a little lime water and cinnamon water, equal parts, if there is the nausea of morning.

15. Do not lie in bed too long of mornings. Rest is needed, to be sure, but activity is needed the more.

16. Do these things, and be mindful that eliminations are kept normal. These may be best governed from the massage and from plenty of fresh, green vegetables; celery, carrots, lettuce, mustard greens and the like. No apples raw, but plenty of them cooked. Have plenty of yellow peaches, berries or the like, but do not overindulge in these. And do keep away from sweets.

17. Figs, either the preserved or stewed are well, as are raisins. But have these not with sugar - rather in their own syrup, their own sweetening.

18. These should bring the best conditions for this body.

19. Concerning the mental attitude: Keep in the correct spiritual influence. Let thy meditation and prayer oft be, but in thine own words:

20. LORD, MAKE ME A CHANNEL OF BLESSINGS TO OTHERS, THROUGH THY GRACE, THY MERCY, THY LOVE, AS MANIFESTED IN JESUS, THE CHRIST. LET ME IN MY MIND AND BODY BE ALWAYS IN KEEPING WITH THY PURPOSES WITH THE CHILDREN OF MEN.

21. Ready for questions.

22. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (12/27/41 GD's note: CALCIOS is manufactured and distributed by The Colloidal Health Products Co., Greenvale, Long Island, N.Y., Atten. A. A. Nichoson. It is a syrupy paste that sells for $2.50 a jar. According to the Readings it is the best way of assimilating free calcium. If you cannot obtain Jerusalem artichokes, they may be ordered by the pound from the John A. Salzer Seed Co., LaCross, Wisconsin. Preserve them by planting in the earth, as in a flower pot or the like, but where dogs or the like cannot get to them to dig them up. Patapar Paper [GD's note: Patapar Paper later went off the market, but various "cooking parchments" were available.] is manufactured by the Paterson Parchment Paper Co., Bristol, Penna. It sells for 25 cents a dozen sheets, and might be obtained from a department store, 10 cents store, grocery or the like; or it may be ordered direct.) .)
