1. EC: Yes, we have the entity and those relations with the universe and universal forces, that are latent and manifested in the personalities of the present entity, known as - or called - [721].
2. In entering this present experience we find, from the astrological aspects the ordinary vision of same would not be in whole accord with that which has been attributed by astrological lore. For these would put most of the activities of the entity in relationships to waters and those activities upon same. And while these have an influence in the associations of the entity, as we find, they deal rather with the entity's activities in those environs that USE water - rather than being UPON the water. But these, as we find, are rather from the entity's sojourn in the environs of the astrological influences than because of their positions at the period or the time of the birth. For these are the conditions that are innate in the experience of the entity in the present:
3. The Jupiterian influence, as we find, has made for periods when in the last year there have been brought both good and bad associations in a material world. Yet there is the innate ability within the entity to meet individuals in activity in a commercial world that are of the broad field of expansion, so that the entity sees or views conditions rather as a whole than the minute detail. And detail, then, becomes to the entity rather as a hardship when it becomes necessary for the entity to keep same in its material or MENTAL applications in the present.
4. As we find, in the past month, the influence - upon those of Jupiterian experience - has been for associations with those that to the entity in the present may make for an
721-1 Page 2
expansion in the material, the commercial, the mental, and the relationships that become more of the material, successes in the immediate undertakings. And these will advance in the experience of the entity in the present, reaching in the coming six months - not the peak, but towards those things of - a SATISFACTORY association in those lines of endeavors or activities. These are as innate. Whether these become MATERIAL experiences in the affairs of the entity, or remain as the vision or desires or expressions in the "near to", depends upon the will of the entity, the embracing of the opportunities, the delving into that which may make for a choice within the mental experience of the entity.
5. The environ from the Neptune experiences makes for the activities and associations dealing with things of a mystic or unseen nature, that are INNATE expressions of the mysterious activities. Hence those things that deal with bright lights, or that have to do with the EXPRESSIONS in mental or physical activity to depict or to show an activity, are of an INNATE interest to the entity; and bring into the experience and the associations of the entity - then - those that have had, do have, dealings with those things that make for either the thought that is express in journalism or the associations with those on the stage, or the activities of same. These are not a portion of the entity's associations, but THROUGH the associations of those connected with same may the entity in its MATERIAL activity bring to its OWN associations those things that may make for the greater expansion in WHATEVER line of endeavor that may be brought to the materialization.
6. The sojourns in the influences of Saturn make for so often the entity having had the proposition in this line and in that, constantly of a changing nature; always those things that will make for a new association, new relations. These combined with the influences that arise from the Jupiterian experience makes for the abilities of the entity to, innately, be of a service to a great many individuals seeking for connections in many lines or fields of endeavor. And while this should not be wholly commercialized, for it is mental and spiritual in its aspects, there should not be lost sight of the fact by the entity that those who labor in any field of activity are worthy of their material success in their efforts upon the part of others.
7. This same influence from Saturn with Jupiter makes for connections that deal with large groups, or those in various lines of activity where an individual or a group is able to assist the individual in its material associations.
721-1 Page 3
8. These conditions, then, we find as innate in the experience of the entity - but this is irrespective of the will force. As to what the entity does with same depends upon the choice of the MENTAL forces of the entity:
9. One that is affable, making for friendships in many fields of activity - many lines of endeavors; yet these are ever as those things that the entity make its choice of its own friends - yet a friend to many that never realize to whom their obligation is due; making for an individual activity in the desires for study of ANY of the associations whether from the material things, the mental experiences or what not. The entity desires to seek for self, FORMING its OWN conclusions, yet often listening INNATELY to the many varied manners in which others deal with the same character of experience. Hence the entity is a good listener, as well as one capable of giving good advice to others.
10. As to the appearances, then, and those that make for the greater influence in the experience of the entity in the present:
11. Before this we find it was during those periods in the land of the present nativity when there were the settlings in this particular land, and when there were the establishings of the places of residence in what is now New York or Manhattan.
12. The entity was among those that first made the arrangements for the supply of water conduits, and the manners of the associations in same; in the name then Hanshel. And there may be seen in the very early portions of that development that which the entity accomplished during those experiences, being one rather combining the material activity with the spiritual developments of the peoples during that sojourn - that, with those changes that were early wrought in the settlements in this particular land, brought many divisions of opinions. For in the early portions, as is seen, there was an exchange - or a changing in the character of the individual, or environs made for the individual activity, by the change from the Dutch to the English and from the English to the varied activities of many nationalities - or the many tongues that came into the active forces during the experience.
13. In the MENTAL and in the material the entity gained for a portion; yet with the many divisions it brought the material losses and the feelings within the entity in its activities (that come as an expression in the inmost self of the entity from the EMOTIONAL side of self) as to doubt and as to question the motives that PROMPT individual activity when there is the consideration of moneys or prestige or
721-1 Page 4
those conditions that make for fame OR fortune in the experience of individuals' activity. Yet with the mental urge as indicated, the entity - by entering within self the more - may gather the greater vision, and be able to analyze more thoroughly not only what are the promptings in such association or relations that may be made but to make for self in such periods the better choice. For, as ever, it must be seen by each soul - yea, by each entity - that unless the promptings for the activity of an individual are from the spiritual inception, the end thereof must be confusion. Or doing right, or being virtuous, or being that which is of the attributes of the spiritual life for itself - and not for material purposes.
14. Then, before that we find the entity was during those periods of activity in what is now known as the Roman land, during the activities of the Caesars in the wars; and in the period of the second Caesar Augustus do we find were the activities of the entity, in those associations where there were the changes in the relationships of that country to those about, below or across - the wars in the northern portions of what is now Africa of Alexandra's [Alexandria?] land.
15. The entity then was among those that were the assistants to that one, Pompitian [Pompeius?]; being a leader and a soldier, yet a counsellor to the ruler himself; gaining in those activities through the material and the mental associations for a soul development, for a physical ability, for a mental vision that came to the entity during that sojourn.
16. In the present application there is seen the moral sense, or the emotional abilities or faculties of the entity to not only listen but to act upon the experiences of others; and the ability to take warnings respecting the pitfalls in the various activities in the material and mental application of individuals; thus making for that which, if used in the present experience, may tend to fortify the entity in its abilities to make of itself a commercial or material success in the present. Yet these must over be tempered with those conditions or influences that we have indicated, as to the spiritual prompting.
17. Before that we find the entity was in that land now known as the Egyptian, during the periods when there were turmoils and strife, when there were the gatherings together again of those that brought about such conditions in the experience of that people, that land.
18. The entity then was among those who returned from the land of the Priest's banishment, with the aide of the Priest
721-1 Page 5
during that sojourn, that aided in the preparation and in the establishing of those various periods or channels of the divisions of the activities of a people that became an advance of what is now called the modern civilization. For the entity's activities then enabled many of those in authority, many of those that were in places of positions, to come together for one common cause; in the name then Zeb-Phten.
19. In the experience much was dependent upon the entity for the advances in those fields where there were the preparations for the establishing of the associations with that people to many other lands; the preparations for the care of the schools that had to do with the abilities to make known - or the preparation of making known - those tenets and lessons in those particular periods of activity.
20. Hence in any of those fields that have to do with the same character of activative influences brought to the entity in that experience, may there be found the expressions in the material and mental activity of the entity in the present. Hence certain characters of literature in the present that are not of the common or ordinary type are of the greater influence, or the greater experience of the entity in the present to seek same out; the unusual developments of the associations in various activities or fields of service are of special interest to the entity in the present.
21. Then, as to that to which the entity may attain in its abilities in the present, and how:
22. First, as indicated, in those things that deal with a service to its fellow man - in the nature of things that deal with water, with things that come from across waters, that USE great amounts of water in their active service or the like - in these fields of activity may the entity find in the MATERIAL way, in the MENTAL way, that which will bring to itself in the material world the greater manners of success. Yet use in same, and in its associations, the various fields of activity through which - innately and manifestedly there has been brought the greater periods of experience of the mental and material activities, for the entity's action in the present.
23. In the application, then, first know in self that thou hast chosen in thine own particular field of activity, using all the various outlets, all the various associations; not as using them alone, but as stepping-stones for those experiences that may bring to the entity the greater ability to serve. For in service alone may any soul find advancement or development; and that which will satisfy the
721-1 Page 6
longings of the inmost self in its expression with its fellow man, such as to bring a life worth while, and the experiences that are to be counted as gain - ever - in the experience of any.
24. Ready for questions.
25. (Q) Would I be successful if I carried out my long contemplated thought of moving my business to a suitable loft? (A) As we find, if those various associations, leads or contacts the entity has in the fields of activity as indicated are used, it would be well. If the success is dependent wholly upon the field in which the association or business directs, not so well.
26. (Q) Would you suggest a suitable time for this move, or a suitable place? (A) A suitable time and a suitable place are not always, as we find in the present, compatible one with another; for circumstances and conditions and surroundings must be considered. Those surroundings and activities in the matter of the relationships with others would make for rather the place. The time would be rather in those periods when there are again those changes as we have indicated would make for the greater advancement to the activities of the entity; in the coming year, as we find would be the better - then, in April or May of the coming year.
27. (Q) Would you advise that I move from my present residence? (A) When there are those changes that we see must come about in the associations through those varied environments that are necessitated, or felt in self would make for the better place of expression of self, would be very well. And these, as we find, will come in the latter portions of the present year; or in the next month would be the better.
28. (Q) Just what action, if any, should I take in regard to my wife? (A) Let these conditions develop themselves, so that there is within the own self, the own conscience, nothing that would condemn thine own self. This will make the own self, the own mind, the more easy to live with.
29. (Q) Am I in the proper vocation in the present? (A) As we have indicated, those environs that bring the activities as indicated are the proper ones. These are a greater portion of the activities of the entity in the present, and hence will lead to those fields of a service in self; those fields of an activity in the material or commercial world that will make for satisfactory conditions.
30. (Q) Would you suggest a suitable hobby for the entity? (A) A collection of those things that have long been in the experience of the entity; as those things of certain periods
721-1 Page 7
that indicate the change in the thought and activity of individuals; as stones, mugs, canes and such.
31. (Q) Explain to the entity just how he can best use his ability for making the contacts for others, as suggested in this reading? (A) As indicated, the entity's abilities in those fields of service to others are in making contacts for others in their varied fields of activity. Use these in thine OWN associations, and for those relations of self. Not as using the individual, but as those things that are the result OF the service that is rendered in such a way, see? For these are the things that to the soul and to the inmost man make for the greater development. For a friendship to the entity, that is indeed a friendship, is a sacred thing. Then, these are those things which build. For the judgements in the future, as the life in this material body is laid aside, are as to what thou hast done to thy fellow man. Inasmuch as ye did it unto the least, ye have done same unto thy Maker.
