Time of Reading ... Street, 3:15 to 3:40 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. L.I., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [726], and those conditions that disturb the better physical functioning of this body.

2. Now, as we find, there are conditions that disturb the better physical functioning. These effects and the conditions do not at all times show the causes of the conditions. The affectation is to the glands of the body and the conditions are the result, in the destruction of conditions in the circulation. Hence we find anemia a portion of the disorder, and the influences in the functioning of the glands that affect the body.

3. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [726] we are speaking of, present in this room:

4. First, we find the BLOOD SUPPLY is deficient in its quality as well as in the quantity; deficient in the red blood count as well as in the white, yet the attempts of the body to keep a normal balance prevent the condition from becoming acute.

5. In the elements of the blood supply we find too great a quantity of the potassiums to that of the iodines.

6. As to the NERVOUS SYSTEM, we find these conditions in the nerves are rather the effect, or the strain that is put upon the system in every manner from the lack of the vitality, the lack of those necessary resuscitating forces for the body. These are, then, effects that we find in portions of the system. Hindrances have been in the system; as in the poor circulation to the head at times, that makes for the affectation that has appeared in the mouth (that is, the gums), and in the eyes; rather as drosses that have affected

726-1 Page 2

the system by this poor circulation that has existed, that does exist in the greater part in the present.

7. As to the functioning of the ORGANS themselves, we find:

8. Brain forces are good, as the reaction.

9. The reflexes from coordinating influences between sympathetic and cerebrospinal systems are near normal; yet the affectations to these from a disturbed circulation makes for indications in the reactions in the body itself through impulses that arise.

10. In the organs of the sensory system, as we find, there has been a lack of an equalized circulation through the head, as indicated, which has made for a hindrance to the organs to the sensory system; particularly in the reflexes to the circulation in the head.

11. In the throat, the bronchi, the lungs, the larynx, we find the greater disturbance that HAS hindered, that does hinder the activities of the circulation; for in the thyroid glands we find an excess of activity to produce or to cause accumulations or the lack of the proper secretions from same to make for a distribution through the system of those elements necessary that should carry on - from the activity of the glands to the body. This has made for an impoverishment to the blood supply. Hence those tendencies for the conditions to become rather the depleting of the vitality of the system, the general wasting away in the strength and vitality. Not to those excesses that it has become as an ACUTE condition as yet, but these conditions exist - and should be met in bringing about a normal equilibrium in the body.

12. The lungs are very good, considering the general anemic condition and the lack of vitality in the system.

13. Heart's action subnormal; low in its pulsation, quick at TIMES in its reaction when there is undue amount of exercise, yet weak in its pulsation.

14. In the digestive system we find an impoverished condition through a lack of the proper amount of the gastric flows to the general condition of the body for the better assimilations. These are from, or through, those disturbances that have been indicated, that makes for lack of the general GLAND activity or gland secretions in many portions of the system; making for, with those associated connections, poor digestion when the food values have passed into the lower portion of the digestive system for their assimilation and their activity upon the general system by the absorption through the glands in the lacteals and the activity of those from the pancreas, spleen and the liver in its secretions necessary for proper digestion and proper

726-1 Page 3

assimilation of food values taken into the system. So, there is created a slow activity or peristaltic movement through the alimentary canal. A cold, slow or low hepatic circulation.

15. These are the general conditions and the disturbances as we find with this body, [726] we are speaking of.

16. In meeting these conditions, as we find them, first there must be taken into consideration the activities that are necessary to be increased; yet these must be kept in a normal balance throughout those creations of an activity in the glands and a coordination with the organs that have been disturbed by the conditions that have existed.

17. We would find, then, that the secretions that will make for the gland activity, especially as related to the thyroids - or an increased amount of iodine in the system would be most effective, most beneficial to the body.

18. So, we would begin with taking internally the atomic iodine, in that called Atomidine. Small quantities would be taken in the beginning; then larger doses may be taken as the system may assimilate same. We would begin with two minims in half to a whole glass of water twice each day, in the morning before the meal and in the evening before retiring. It is better to take this for periods of five to ten days - the four minims each day, two in the morning and two in the evening; then rest a period of three to four days; then begin again. This should be continued for five to six rounds or periods of taking same.

19. Also for the digestive system, for creating the proper amount of balance in the elemental forces in the blood supply, we would add the Ventriculin with the iron in same - which would be an active force with the gastric flow of the system in its low state in the present; gradually increasing the amount of the resistances necessary to be built in the body for the gaining of strength and the increasing of the blood supply. Take this in the form or manner indicated by the manufacturers of same, but beware that there are not taken those things in the diet that work against same.

20. The foods, then, would be rather of the alkalin reacting nature; but with the fats that would make for the body and blood building. Hence a portion of the diet, as well as the enzymes found in the Ventriculin, at least two or three meals each week, should consist of broiled liver or pigs' feet [fresh, not pickled] or pig knuckle, or those forces that carry that which is building for the body, with the elements in same that will assist in bringing a normal equilibrium - or build the resistances to meet those inroads that have been made by the non-activity of the gland

secretions in the body.

21. We would also have, at least once or twice each week, the proper manipulations and adjustments osteopathically given to those centers where the drainages are set up in the system, so that the activities to the whole of the body will be for a normal coordinating condition throughout the system.

22. Stimulate specifically the 4th lumbar center or area for the drainages through the activative forces of the lower portion of the abdominal area.

23. Stimulate those centers specifically in the 9th and 10th dorsal area for the solar plexus reaction through the beginning of the digestions, and the alimentary canal.

24. And in the brachial area, or the 1st and 2nd dorsal area, for the stomach - and the activative force in the organs of digestion.

25. And the hypogastric and pneumogastrics in the cervical area for the general circulation, that these may be kept coordinated in the building of the general strength for the body.

26. And we will find, in eight to ten weeks of following these, a body near to normal - with the strength, the vitality, the resistance restored in this body, [726].

27. Ready for questions.

28. (Q) What is the blood count of the body at the present time? (A) About two and a half million below normal.

29. (Q) Would it be advisable to try to have a baby? (A) Not until the general vitality and strength of the body has been builded to such measures that there would not be too great a strain upon the vitality of the body.

30. (Q) Why do I get sweats? (A) The poor circulation, and lack of the stimulation necessary in the glands' activity.

31. (Q) Was the operation recently performed necessary? (A) Necessary under the existent conditions. Had there been the consideration for the activities throughout the gland system, and these increased - or a balance brought, the system might have taken care of same. It was necessary at the time.

32. (Q) What is the blood pressure at present? (A) Below normal. Hundred - ?

33. (Q) Any other suggestions for the better physical conditions of this body? (A) Do these, as we have indicated, in a consistent and persistent manner; and we will find we will bring the normal conditions for this body. Not as rote, but knowing that within self must be found that which may be awakened to the

726-1 Page 5

BUILDING of that necessary for the body, mentally and physically and spiritually, to carry ITS part in this experience. For the application of any influence must have that which is of the divine awakening of the activative forces in every atom, every cell of a living body.
