Time of Reading Seine et Oise, 3:40 to 4:10 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. France. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, it's nine-thirty. We have the body here.
2. Now, as we find, there are disturbing conditions that without correction may become not only disagreeable but may cause much disturbance in the better physical forces of the body. These, as we find, have to do with specific conditions that exist with this body, [745] we are speaking of.
3. These are the conditions, then, as we find them with this body:
4. First, in the BLOOD SUPPLY there are the indications of poor eliminations. While the activities in the system would first indicate these are not of a great disturbance, the conditions are rather of an unseen or hidden nature; arising from the effects of a disturbance had some time ago, where the nature of congestion has affected the lymph circulation more specifically in the jejunum circulation. We have from same some perforations that are of such natures that in the circulation they produce blemishes and spots and conditions over various portions of the body that have not responded to either external measures nor to diet, nor medication. For while they produce a nervousness and a disturbance in the blood supply, these are so hidden that changes that come about in the system make for not exactly a neurotic condition but - with these changes - tendencies for irritations either in the mental being, aggravated by an overacidity in the lower portion or pyloric portion of the stomach, or for too free an activity of the alimentary canal or through same. These are the effects of the system's attempting to throw out those fluids or influences in the system to prevent these conditions from being centralized or producing greater disorders or distresses in the system. Hence we have those periods when this only disturbs the general nervous system, producing the tendency of a very
745-1 Page 2
disturbed digestive body, or causing indigestions for the whole of the body itself; very violent headaches that make for periods when the body is upset by same. At other periods the rest, the activities through the menstrual eliminations; and causing distresses that have been very disturbing to the physical body.
5. As to the activity upon the organs themselves of the body, while the body is still in that of a developing period (through nearing the third cycle), we find there are those necessary changes to be brought about in the activities both from the physical standpoint and from the mental reactions, that will make for bettered conditions for this body, [745] we are speaking of:
6. The brain forces are very good. The tendencies in those directions for the use of the imaginative forces in the abilities of creating verse or prose activity in the descriptions are very good. Hence the MENTAL forces are active, though these periods of depression and these periods that arise from the conditions - especially where there are the indications in the portions of the body where the blemishes show from this circulation - become very disturbing.
7. In the soft tissue of the face, these disturbances at times also make for disorders that disturb the body - through the soft tissue in the antrum and in the nasal passages. These are the EFFECTS of these conditions when the circulation is carrying poisons that are as seepages from the conditions we have indicated in the lower portion of the duodenum and upper portion of the jejunum. We find these may need local applications, though if the causes are removed much of these would disappear of themselves.
8. In the throat, bronchi, lungs and the larynx, all of these are very good from the organic standpoint, yet there are periods when these also show irritation; as in periods when the throat and the soft tissue in same finds distresses. While change in climatic conditions may be effective, these return with the periods when irritation either mentally or physically disturbs these forces as described.
9. The heart's action is near normal.
10. The digestive forces, as to the stomach itself and upper portion of the duodenum, are very good; those in the lower portion of duodenum and jejunum and as affected by the gastric flows from an overacidity - these are the areas where the distresses exist, as we find; making for disorders in the organs of the pelvis and in the activity of the eliminations through the alimentary canal - as indicated.
745-1 Page 3
11. Then, in meeting the needs of the conditions for this body, these - as we find - would be the applications that would not only make for the corrective forces but for the system to maintain that equilibrium and that vitality as to remove those that are not only the causes but the effects; and also those tendencies of disturbances that are gradually being builded in various portions of the system - as indicated in the functioning of organs and the general nervous system.
12. Those applications that might be made externally in the electrical forces would be inefficient for these conditions, for they in the greater part would only be effective to the superficial circulation; while the effects of these conditions are produced from the internal and from the lymph and emunctory activity through the trunk or torso itself.
13. First, then, we would change the CHARACTER of water taken by the body. There should be no water taken unless carrying elm bark or Yellow Saffron tea. While these may be in small quantities, the effect of these upon the gastric flow throughout the stomach, throughout the activity of the organs of the system, will so stimulate the walls of the organs themselves as to bring HEALING to those portions that are distressed. Just before the drink is to be taken, we would have a pinch of ground elm bark stirred in a glass of water. Do not take this after it has stood for longer than twenty to thirty minutes. The Saffron tea would be made in the proportion of three ounces to sixteen to twenty-four ounces of water, steeped as ordinary tea. Let the quantity or the strength be rather in accord with the taste of the body. These may be altered, or one taken one day and the other the next.
14. Also we would take internally very small quantities or doses of Olive Oil, taken often, for period of three or four days; then leave off for three or four days, then begin again. A quarter to half a teaspoonful every three or four hours during the waking period. (See, the body is sleeping now.)
15. We would apply externally the low form of electrical vibration from the plain Radio-Active Appliance. The attachments would be made each day to the extremities one day first to the right wrist and left ankle, the next day first to the left wrist and then to the right ankle, and so on, alternating in this manner, for an hour each day as the body rests; save during those periods just previous to the menstrual flow, when the attachments would be made one anode first to the 12th dorsal center and the other just across on the frontal bone above the puba - or at the puba bone -

which will make for the even flow, the nonresistance forces created by same, and we will prevent those periods of irritation during such times. But the applications in such a manner would only be for three to four days, while the rest of the time they would be to the extremities of the body as indicated.
16. In the diet we would keep rather to the non-acid foods; that is, keeping rather the alkaline-reacting foods; letting one meal each day consist of raw vegetables wholly. With such there may be used an oil or salad dressing.
17. Following these, with these vibrations and with the diet, as we find, we will bring normal activity for the body, [745].
18. Ready for questions.
19. (Q) Are there any special foods that should be eliminated from the diet? (A) Any great quantity of very highly seasoned or highly spiced foods should not be taken.
20. (Q) Can the body take any kind of alcoholic beverages? (A) Wines; but not the stronger drinks - not rum or the like.
21. (Q) Are there any other suggestions for the body at this time? (A) Do these, keeping - of course - the normal activities in the open; these are better for the body.
22. We are through for the present. Copy to Marquise de [743] (at Hotel ... N.Y.C.)
