1. EC: We have the body here, [758]. This we have had before. Now, we find there are changes taking place in the physical functioning of this body. These are for the betterment of the conditions, and will - with proper consideration as may be given - show greater improvements, as the system relating to the coordination of the sympathetic and cerebrospinal system be brought about. In considering these conditions, and those that are abnormal, there should be particular consideration - as given - as respecting those conditions as have been given, relating to the lower portion of the nerve system, as where the sympathetic and cerebrospinal make union in the lumbar region, as WELL as those in the hypogastric and cervical and brachial region. More CORRECTIONS need to be made in the lumbar region, and such manipulations in the cervical and brachial region as to form the better sympathetic reaction. [See 758-2, Par. R1.] With the applications of the vibrations as are brought about through the application of the low electrical forces, as are to assist in forming those of coordinating elements, these ordinarily should be followed closely, and there should be, as seen, perfect union in each of the applications as GIVE the vibrations. The alternate effect of these vibrations are those that are to have effect upon the different elements in the nerve reaction itself; for, as is seen, a different condition exists from one than the other. One is the form of the COORDINATING element. The other that which takes from the system that necessary as to create a different vibratory rate in the system. Following these, we will find there will be the bettered and bettered coordination, and NATURALLY the results will be more satisfactory.
2. In the diet, be careful that there are not elements given that will cause the hypogastric and pneumogastric to

conflict in their reaction, thus causing restlessness and NAUSEA from the too fast contraction of the pneumogastrics. No food values that are detrimental, then, to the system should be taken. These are rather those that the body should NOT have: No apples of ANY nature, unless well cooked. No bananas. No nuts, that carry too much oils - unless these have been well grated and are mixed with other elements; though the oils of same are beneficial at times for these conditions. These, then, are rather those that SHOULD BE taken: Those that are a stimuli for the nerve system; onions, cooked - not raw, but the juices of same, in moderation - especially those of the elements in the vegetable forces that are of the pod nature. Beans, lettuce - lettuce especially, and celery. Tomatoes - the JUICES of same, and it will be found that those that are CANNED WITHOUT the SODAS will be BETTER than those of the fresh variety, UNLESS it be those that are WELL ripened on the vine, but those as taken and ripened by artificial forces - or by sun, without the vine - not well for the body. The JUICES of meats in moderation. Fowl and fish, and ALL of the ones that carry iodine be well, but in moderation. These, and those elements as are for the changes in vibration, will bring the near normal and the proper corrections for this body, [758]. Ready for questions.
3. (Q) Have all the treatments been given the body fully in accord with the reading? (A) As has been indicated, there has not been sufficient interest or changes in the LUMBAR, and the stimuli to the upper portion has been TOO great for that accorded in the region where the pressure is indicated.
4. (Q) Is it necessary for the glasses to be worn at all times? (A) BETTER, under the present condition - but as the changes are brought about, these corrections will so aid the sensory reactions as to gradually not NECESSITATE, even, these usages. After five to six weeks there shouldn't be the NECESSITY of wearing same.
5. (Q) What causes the body to touch himself at times at places where he should not? (A) Over irritation from the pressure created in lumbar regions, which cause irritation to the organs, as are seen. Hence this change as is necessary in that LESS stimuli - of course, sufficient - not that it is to be neglected, but LESS stimuli in the upper portion and MORE in the LUMBAR and lower dorsal region, so that the reflexes in the centers as produce coordination between sympathetic and cerebrospinal will move UPWARD, not downward, and there will be the better coordinating between cerebrospinal and sympathetic nerve

system.
6. (Q) How long would it be best for the body and his mother to remain at the Cayce Hospital? (A) That dependent upon the RESPONSE the body makes to those applications as are to be, and as are given.
7. (Q) Why is the speech better at certain times than at others? (A) That the act of incoordination. At times the flow through the sympathetic and cerebrospinal are normal. Then the speech is nearer normal. When these come as jerks, or any over excitement to the sympathetic system, in ANY manner, the incoordination occurs, and the tendency to pick, run, jerky in every action, is a result.
8. (Q) What causes the body to place his hands over his ears at times? (A) This, again, just the same condition as has been described - that the attempt of the system to produce coordination in the system is a respondent reaction in the sensory system, of which the auditory forces are a portion. Get that? No, you don't see it. Here: You haven't gotten it. The sensory system is NECESSARILY a portion of the sympathetic system. See that? The cerebrospinal system supplies the forces from the sympathetic to the brain forces, which are the coordinating centers from which reflexes and reactions takes place. When any act so over stimulates a center as to cause the nerve CENTER TO react, as in the sympathetic system, without the SAME coordinating forces through the impulses from the brain and cerebrospinal, such conditions result. The system attempting to create these, brings, as it were a HUM, or a THUMP, to the auditory forces, see? The same as a result in the action of those forces as produce speech. The same reaction to those forces of touch - as the body feels it has to touch to KNOW that the thing's THERE, see? If the doctor would understand that, in creating those forces, then you will find different response to this body. We are through with this reading.
