1. EC: We have the body here - this we have had before. Now, we find there are some changes in the physical forces of the body; some accentuations, some that show the disorders under which the body has been passing. In a general manner the conditions are still on the improve.
2. With the existent conditions where the lymph glands, as well as a general congestion has existed, it would be well that the drainages in the system be set up in an above normal manner, and for the period to discontinue some of the applications - such as the battery, in the present condition. As soon as the conditions have become nearer normal, then we would give that as to how and where these would be again applied.
3. In setting up the drainages, well that the alimentary canal be more active FROM the functioning of the organs of digestion and excretion, than from the alimentary canal itself - but as an active force in the system. This may be materially aided through the character and kind of manipulations that are given for this, especially in the action of the PULMONARY muscles and the lungs proper, also the relaxing generally - without making undue corrective measures - in the lumbar and sacral region.
4. We would keep those conditions that prevent an over-acidity. Also give the properties in the system to aid in the liver activity, the spleen, the blood supply, the activity of the whole system, without exciting - to too great an extent - the lymph through the alimentary canal which would be in those properties of Castoria occasionally, with the Milk of Magnesia and Milk of Bismuth. These are BETTER alternated than in one alone.
5. In the matter of the diet - those foods that are more of the blood and nerve building will be the most helpful, but these should be of easy digestion, and do not OVERLOAD the stomach! Better to give food oftener, than to overload at any given period.

6. With the drainage kept, and with the general conditions as outlined, we will find very soon the conditions will become nearer and nearer normal. Taking advantage of the drainages in system at this time will make for a more helpful general condition as these are (that is, the cold and congestion) eliminated. Ready for questions.
7. (Q) What caused glands to become enlarged? (A) Congestion, as may be indicated from that given as to how drainages must be set up to PREVENT this engorgement, or the disorders in the whole system.
8. (Q) Is treatment being applied correctly for this condition? (A) As the changes here outlined, with that as being applied, would be the proper for the eliminations of the conditions.
9. (Q) Will hospital [Cayce Hospital] continue or will it close, and when? (A) We haven't the hospital, we have the patient IN the hospital! As to whether it will or not, will depend upon the activities of others outside.
10. (Q) Is it well for body to eat eggs and bacon? (A) Occasionally, it is well. Eggs will be better CODDLED, for this body.
11. (Q) Should the bacon be crisp? (A) Never taken unless very crisp. Not too much of it then.
12. (Q) What can be done to stimulate his interest in his work at school? (A) This interest will come as the body's general build is increased to nearer normalcy. This comes by the training of the body, as outlined, through the controlling of the innate forces. Well that these suggestions be kept in a normal manner, and more attention paid to those reactions that has been spoken of.
13. (Q) Could his nurse be of any help regarding his studies? If so, outline plan to be used? (A) This had BEST be given when the body is nearer in a normal condition, than at present. Could be of help, and this may be outlined in a general manner, PROVIDED it is made to be in a COOPERATIVE measure with the instructress for the body - but if these are CONTENDING forces they become as that which causes a contributory to the body's nervousness, rather than an aid. This may BEST worked out between these two.
14. (Q) What effect, if any, is auto suggestion having on this body? (A) As has just been suggested, these should be kept - and kept in a positive and loving manner, and in a manner that

is constructive. These ARE beneficial. Because they produce at times those apparent inhibitions from the waking state, should not be taken as being detrimental. It's rather that they are becoming more effective, and if taken and conducted PROPERLY will be made most helpful, most beneficial. To be sure, that which can be made most beneficial can also be made most destructive. In most of the interims or periods, this has been given - thus far - it hes been beneficial.
15. (Q) Would Miss Barclay [Lillian Barclay] be capable of bringing out his musical interests? (A) Will be capable of bringing these out.
16. (Q) Any further suggestions regarding this body? (A) Much may be said regarding this body, and the mental and spiritual developments of the body. Be not hasty - anyone - in the conclusions that may be drawn from the various conditions that arise in the experience of this entity, for there will come - with the proper developments, with the changes that are being wrought in the body, mentally and physically - that that will be seen to be worth while to many peoples, that will call the body blessed for that the body is able to give. Be patient. Be kind. Be gentle; for in so doing each one so ministering is building for SELF - as well as laying up treasures for themselves.
