1. EC: Yes, we have the body here - this we have had before. Better conditions exist in the general physical forces of the body than when we last had same here. Cold, congestion, is brought nearer to the full eliminations. While there are some irritations in portions of the system, that show the effects of these conditions - and these should be cared for; yet the GENERAL conditions are STILL on the improve, physically, and the mental coordinations and reactions are nearer normal in the body - and the general conditions are on the improve.

2. There should be taken particular precautions at the present time respecting the soft tissues in the face, that those pressures produced by the glasses on the nose do not affect same, so as to later cause obstructions in this region. It would be well, then, to have some LOCAL attention for this, with the sprays that are of an ANTISEPTIC nature for the nasal and the soft tissues in the face.

3. Also it would be well that those manipulative forces that have been given and outlined for the body be kept more in that direction of corrections in the lumbar and sacral, than TOO MUCH stimuli in the upper dorsal or cervicals; for, as soon as we have the normal alignments in the lumbar, lower dorsal and in the sacral - and we have reached that change, or that coordinating force in the system when the vibratory forces between the glands that call for the proper distribution of nerve energy through the sympathetic forces in glands from base of the brain to the active forces in the auditory forces, as with the speech and vocal forces - there will be a near normal condition for this body. Ready for questions.

4. (Q) Why does body turn right foot in when walking? (A) Pressures that exist in the lumbar and sacral region makes for a tendency to draw on this side. Hence, as given, that there should be more perfect alignments in the lumbar

758-27 Page 2

and sacral regions, with the manipulations that are applied for physical corrections in the body. This makes a tendency for the body to GIVE towards that, when the impulses are to creen [GD's note: Creen - obsolete word, U.S. var. of careen] or to give towards that which produces pain.

5. (Q) Do arches need correction? (A) Unless we correct the condition where these impulses come from, they WILL need correcting! not so much in the present, though they may be stimulated by using an arch support - but NOT what would be generally fitted for arch! If we will treat the lumbar and sacral region, WITH the proper osteopathic treatments in the Achilles heel and through the burses of the foot and heel themselves, we will find these will not need supports!

6. (Q) Is it well for body to be outdoors in his present condition? (A) Depends upon the weather! When it's clear, and when it's nice - so that the body obtains more of the oxygen - it's well for the body to be out. When it's damp, or so that there is too much of the inhalations that cause an expansion of those very conditions being warned of in the face, it would be detrimental - to the head, face, throat, and to all the glands as related to same; for when there is much of those forces make for an expansion in the soft tissues, these become detrimental.

7. (Q) What antiseptics should be used? (A) As given, this should necessitate local treatments. As we would find, very mild form of the acids would be the better. This we would have done under the direction of a competent physician! for the soft tissues in a developing body of this kind need close attention! Argyrol, or any of the fish oils - these are the better antiseptics, to be sure. Icthyol [Ichthyol], Argyrol, or any of these - but these would be better under the supervision of one versed in the DEVELOPING forces in such a condition.

8. (Q) Is [758] building within? (A) Building within; for, as given respecting the developments that would come with those suggestions made to the inner forces, these are being aroused from within. More credence, more attention should be given to the impressions the body receives while in the sleeping state, for the subconscious forces, the soul itself is being builded. Be mindful that it is guided properly.

9. (Q) Is Miss Barclay [Lillian Barclay] right in giving him many experiences or would it be better to perfect one before taking up something new? (A) Be well to have many, for the body is capable - and the mental forces of the body are capable of taking much that

758-27 Page 3

later on will find better self expression than were it turned into ONE idea, or one track; for the great condition that has existed is - the ideas and the finding of expressions are so much faster than the coordinations of the findings, or that the impressions in the physical have been able to express - and while the appearance would be, from that reasoning, that to take one and perfect it would be better, but the body would become - as it were - one lined, or one minded, or one tracked, and it would be continually combative; while the many changes to the body, with its receiving its impressions of body building, as well as developing of the soul forces within itself, would be much the better.

10. (Q) Please suggest some simple method of work or play that will help him concentrate. (A) There has been given, these have often been outlined, as to how these should be. Do not be in too big a hurry! because the developments apparently are slow! The BODY is building, the mental is DEVELOPING much FASTER than may be apparent from those continually in associations with the individual or body! but follow THOSE given - that are reached most by the impressions or expressions of that which the body gains in or through its subconscious forces, following out these approaches that come from time to time - THESE would be the better, for these show an awakening that will find a concentration of ideas and ideals for the body, as these are builded.

11. (Q) Is Miss Barclay the one to teach him? Is there improvement as far as her work with him is concerned? (A) There certainly has been improvement! and is in keeping with that given, that the abilities were there - and the associations had been there - and why SHOULDN'T these be kept in line?

12. (Q) Why is it that [758], in making an "M" seems to get the idea but before he can complete two movements his mind jumps to other things? (A) As given, the IDEAS are so crowded in the developing mind that the coordinations between the impulses and the ideas given LOSE their activities in the one given direction. Just be patient, for these are working - these are developing.

13. (Q) Through which of the five senses does [758] get the most impressions? (A) Through the hearing - as is indicated in the musical turn, as indicated in the rhythm in such conditions. The FEELING in hearing.

14. (Q) Because of [758]'s teasing disposition, it is

758-27 Page 4

necessary to make him understand that unless he obeys some form of punishment will follow. What would you advise? (A) As we find, punishment of a corporal nature is often bad; more often harmful than helpful. The activities, then, should be not so much as "Don't" but "Do", and as THESE are given - as to that from which the body DOES things, through the teasing - then the taking away FROM the body privileges in other directions would have more effect than all the corporal punishments that may be given! for kindness goes much farther than stress. Positive kindness.

15. (Q) Should the body be developed to use right or left hand? (A) Right. While the body is tended to be in the nature of both handed, or super-dextrous, yet in the developing of the body - with the positions of the muscular forces and the position of the heart itself in the body - the RIGHT would be much better. Notice the positions when individuals are left handed - it is more often the position of their heart!

16. (Q) Is it advisable under existing conditions at Cayce Hospital to take body to Atlantic City, N.J., Lakewood, N.J., or Long Island? (A) Long Island.

17. (Q) Should that be done presently? (A) Can be done, or may be done whenever so chosen!

18. (Q) With present conditions of body can battery treatment be eliminated? (A) Use the Radio-Active.

19. (Q) How often? (A) Would be well if it is used at least once each day.

20. (Q) Should osteopathic treatments be given, and if so how often? (A) There has just been given that these are very necessary, for the proper corrections - not only for the developments that are being carried on, but for other conditions that have not always been made mindful of. At least three times each week.

21. (Q) Where should the battery be applied? (A) If only the Radio-Active is given, the extremities. The arms and to the limbs, but making the circle of the body.

22. (Q) Should it be applied to the umbilicus? (A) As given, to the extremities. Not on the umbilicus, if only the Radio-Active is to be used; but on the extremities, that we make for a coordination of forces in the system. When it's necessary to make connections to those glands - the pineal and the umbilicus - then we would make those changes, but in the present - and with the changes, with the leaving off of the other, we would only make for

758-27 Page 5

extremities.

23. (Q) If body is taken home, would Dr. Daly - at 171 W. 71st St., N.Y. - be the most capable to take body to for treatments? (A) Is not so well with this body, as we find, from the conditions that we have outlined in others! There are many that are better!

24. (Q) Who would you suggest? (A) One more in line or more in keeping with those suggestions made through these channels.

25. (Q) If body is kept at Virginia Beach or Norfolk, who would be the best osteopath to carry out treatments? (A) McCrary or Bright.

26. (Q) Any further advice regarding this body? (A) Much may be given, but we are through for the present. Copy to parents " " Miss Barclay Two copies to Ass'n office
