1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [758] - this we have had before. In many respects we find the general physical and mental reactions on the improve. The applications as have been made in the manipulative forces are very good. A little more attention should be made as respecting those conditions in the lower dorsal and the whole of the lumbar region, that the better coordination may exist between the sympathetic AND cerebrospinal in this area. This, we find, will make for a more quieting of the whole system.
2. The conditions as we find in eyes and in nose are on the improve; while there will necessarily be needed a little more treatments locally for the soft tissue and the condition existent in the nasal cavity or passage, with this these will be in a much bettered condition, both for eyes and for the nasal passages. By the time changes are made, within the next four or five weeks, there should be a change in the fittings for the glasses themselves.
3. There should be kept the vibrations from the Radio-Active appliance, to keep a coordination in the general system; that is, between the EXTREMES of the body. THESE we would keep, even when there is the periods of relaxing from the general manipulations and when the changes are made at least twice each month during the rest period there should be given the general massage - see? Ready for questions.
4. (Q) Are battery treatments being given correctly? (A) More consistent use of same would be better. Keep all connections in order, and the application of same to extremities intact.
5. (Q) Would it be advisable to send him to camp if his mother lived close by? (A) The camp would, as we find, be well for the body, and if PROPERLY supervised - and will need some personal attention occasionally - would be well even if mother is not too close by, IF the body is properly looked after - see?
6. (Q) Would it be beneficial for the body to associate
758-29 Page 2
with a large group of children? (A) As has oft been given, the exchange of ideas through association with children is WELL for the body.
7. (Q) Would it tend to excite or benefit him to take part in camp activities? (A) Would BENEFIT him, if properly guided!
8. (Q) Would it be more beneficial for him to go to Long Beach, Long Island with parents instead of sending him to camp? (A) We would prefer the camp and the association with others, for the developments, for the abilities, for the accentuation of centralized ideas first in groups by the following of others will be more helpful than so much alone. Will require, to be sure, rather a personal attention to aid in the first getting the surroundings and the activities started in a way that WILL be helpful to body; for remember, the body has been reliant upon - and dependent upon - personal attention, and will require that this be more GRADUALLY made as to GROUP attention, than in many another instance - see?
9. (Q) Could all treatments be discontinued during the summer? (A) As has been suggested, at least twice a month there should be the general manipulations - and we would not discontinue too suddenly the use of the battery when other treatments are discontinued also. Too great a let-down, and too great a strain on the body with the reactions that must necessarily ensue.
10. (Q) Is he responding mentally to the teachings of Miss Smith? (A) He is responding more than is OUTWARDLY shown, but the change as we find - for group instruction, or ASSOCIATION instruction with others - would be more beneficial during the coming months, or summer months especially, than to remain under the direction of tutelage of ONE individual - AS one individual.
11. (Q) Would he show more desire to learn if he were in a group of children? (A) As we find, he would.
12. (Q) Would the powers that are guiding the welfare of this body suggest a plan for the summer most beneficial mentally and physically to prepare him for school in the Fall? (A) This, as has been outlined, is as the better plan, or the better direction - as we find. That is, while the group and camp activities, and the social activities as and with camp associations are well and would be most beneficial, the body should NOT be made or forced to rely at ALL times WHOLLY upon self, for the willfulness and the tendency towards an over nervousness would ensue - but the activities should be in group - but watched over by an individual, at

it were, afar - not interfering too much, to make or to force others or the individual to feel that there is a difference in the aptitude of individuals, or dependence upon another - but more as GRADUALLY going into the group and into the associations of others, joining in such - see?
13. (Q) Any suggestions as to what camp would be the best? (A) Where these may be followed in the manner as suggested. Not where there are too many of those that are considered abnormal, but those that are nearer NORMAL - that are carefully selected, that are mindful of the needs and necessities of individual development and individual welfare. These should be the considerations. We are through with this reading. Copy to Mr. [417] " " Mrs. [1192] " " File
