Time of Reading Bancroft School, 11:15 to 11:35 A.M. Eastern Standard Time. Haddonfield, N.J. (Questions)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body [758] and those conditions that surround the body. Many of the conditions within we have had before.
2. As we find there is considerable improvement in the general physical forces of the body since last we had them here. While the surroundings physically and mentally might not be termed by some as ideal, yet there is - as we find - the gradual adjustment of the body mentally and physically to the conditions.
3. The mental reactions in the body are very much improved. We STILL find that the mental reactions are so much faster than the ability of the physical coordination to discern, or to carry out that which is thought, felt or experienced by the entity.
4. Here we may have a very good illustration of the spirit being willing, the abilities being good, but the physical conditions being inefficient or insufficient for the coordinating of the sensory reaction with that expressed in the inner mind.
5. There are, however, some reactions in the type or kind of physical and mental training that is being given the body; there are some responses in the system.
6. As given, it is well that the exercises that are required be required to be carried out in toto; not ever other than in the most loving way and manner; not by being driven or forced, but by the persuasive activities; for there is that language in every clime that bespeaks of that activity in our material plane - LOVE.
7. In THIS manner may the greater strength, the greater developments come for the body.
8. Ready for questions.
9. (Q) What IS present mental and physical condition of the body? (A) This shows considerable improvement since last we had

it here. There is the occasional recurrence of the spasmodic effect from the attempt of the body to COORDINATE, or to carry through to those centers of the sensory system. As indicated here and as given before, we have within the brain's reaction itself that portion where the sensory reactions act independently; yet all are dependent upon the reactions throughout the cerebrospinal and sympathetic system. When there are pressures either from the wrong character of eating, an extremity of reaction, or even at times the NATURAL results of the system attempting to break through, these produce too great a pressure in the activity of those centers about the lower end of the brain, or at the 1st and 2nd cervical center, to push through. This causes the activity of the spasms, or spasmodic conditions; hence, as given, the BASIS of these arises from those pressures that exist in the LUMBAR and sacral area. So, we will find that the conditions would be better if the exercises were of the nature that make an over-exercising of the hips, the cerebrospinal system below the diaphragm, circular motion of the body, rather than so much of the head; for we must loose these, that they may act throughout. The exercises properly taken will replace much of that which may be accomplished through the manipulations, but necessarily would have to be the proper exercises! Walking is good; as also the exercise with the hands on hip and stooping straight down, the circular motion of the body from the hips, etc. Very little exercise should be given to the arms, head and neck; but of course some.
10. (Q) How does his condition compare since last reading? (A) Better.
11. (Q) Are present surroundings helping the body? (A) They are helping the body; by this change in the exercises they may be made better. There are periods when the body resents many of the conditions about it. Naturally, as the body is able to bring back much of that it has experienced through the various changes of scenes, a change of surroundings is desired. Do not allow the body to become morose, nor to overete, but for goodness' sake give it plenty to eat!
12. (Q) Is body enjoying living at the Bancroft School, Haddonfield, N.J.? (A) As given, the surroundings are helpful. Some minor changes should be made, especially in the exercise; the rest, we would say, is very good. There are periods when he doesn't, there are many more periods (and they are growing more and more) when he does enjoy it.

13. (Q) Is body learning any school work at this school? (A) He is, as has been given.
14. (Q) Is the routine of work too much of a strain on body? (A) If given in the proper attitude (that is, not forced), it is not too much of a strain.
15. (Q) What caused the body to have a convulsion last month at school? (A) As outlined, a combination of improper diet and too much exercise of the head and neck without sufficient exercise below the diaphragm.
16. (Q) Why does body hesitate to bend his head at times? (A) Because it hurts!
17. (Q) Does the body have any pains in the head? (A) At times he does; suffers from headaches; suffers from the inactivity or unresponsiveness of the sensory centers to the impulses received in portions of the cerebrospinal system.
18. (Q) Is body wearing the proper shoes, and what is the condition of his feet? (A) It would be better were the shoes better fitted for the support, or the arch supports. We have had conditions before where a portion of the burses in the feet, especially the Achilles heel burse, have given trouble. It would be better for the body if the shoes were fitted; make them thicker on the inside of the sole. This may appear to cause a pigeon - toed effect, but the condition will improve and a great deal of the pressure and strain on the system will be relieved.
19. (Q) Is there any special make of shoe that would be well for the body? (A) It would be better were the shoes fitted for the body; make arch supports with thicker INNER soles - that is, in between the feet, see?
20. (Q) Is body wearing the proper glasses? (A) These are very good at the present.
21. (Q) What is the condition of his eyes? (A) These, as any other reaction from the sensory system, show the effect of irritations at times. More close attention should be paid to the bathing of the eyes morning and evening with a solution that will cleanse them, see?
22. (Q) What solution would be suggested for this? (A) A solution for the eyes; don't use lye or any of those things that are detrimental, but those that will work with the activities of the secretions themselves, see?
23. (Q) Are the teachers and nurses at the Bancroft School kind and loving to the body? (A) At most time. There is rather the tendency for this.

For so long the body has been shielded, and then there was the period of the rather strenuous effect. Now there is a breaking between the two, as outlined. While the body should not be PAMPERED, there should be more and more the persuasive and loving-kindness method used; for remember, as it has been given, those who would minister to the awakening of the powers and forces that are manifest in THIS body will not lose their reward.
