Time of Reading 10:55 to 11:15 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. Hopkinsville, Ky. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [760]; this we have had before.

2. There are changes in the physical forces of the body since last we have had same here. Conditions are such in the present that, unless there are changes brought about, these may become rather serious.

3. For with those disturbances as arising in the present, from those tendencies and inclinations from that affectation in the gall duct area, and this clogging producing a congestion through the activity of the liver, those have caused a disturbance or a slowing in the circulation between the heart, the lungs, the liver and the kidneys, that may be hard to deal with unless changes are wrought in the body.

4. For the effects become more disturbing than the causes, for they reach deeper into the activity of the organs of the body.

5. There are, then, these disturbances to be reckoned with:

6. The blood supply becomes more and more toxic from the lack of the activity in the circulation through the liver and the kidneys. These in the very nature of the disturbance produce those tendencies for the poor digestive forces through the duodenum and the lower portion, especially, of the stomach itself.

7. Hence those tendencies for the gas formations that arise from the lack of the gastric juices to produce a proper digestion. This also from the lack of secretions from the gall duct, the pancreas, the spleen, makes for a disturbance in the manner of eliminations through the alimentary canal, below those portions even of the jejunum and through the jejunum.

8. The kidney pressure or the conditions through the muscular forces along the spine, along the side, the shortness of breath, the low condition in the circulation,

760-20 Page 2

all arise from these congestions then in the system here; as do the effects that have brought the disturbances or been brought about at times, and that do happen in the superficial circulation - as on portions of the face, the head, the nose, the nasal passages, and that are from the toxic forces in the system.

9. As we would find, as there have been those tendencies for the use of very stringent methods, and the causing of the activity of the hypogastrics, while these be used in the present they should be allayed by changes wrought in the activity of the bodily functions and then other properties used rather than SO MUCH of the acids that are the active forces in cathartics.

10. These then, as we would find, would be the applications for the body in the present:

11. While we would not discontinue the manipulative forces to make for the distribution through the system (for these become helpful), twice a week should be sufficient. And if there is the ready response to the applications taken internally, these then may be a little later reduced to one. But when these are given, there should be specific attention given to the LUMBAR plexus, the 9th dorsal plexus, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th dorsal and, of course, throughout the cervical area. But rather make for coordination of those ganglia in the locomotory forces, and the supplying of the tendencies from ganglia that distribute the assimilated forces of the body.

12. We would begin then first, after each meal take at least a quarter teaspoonful of ALCAROID; after each meal. From twenty to thirty minutes after each meal take the Alcaroid.

13. After the second day begin with the Zilatone Tablets rather than even the Caroid Tablets. For while the Zilatone carry as an active principle those that are of the nature that arise from the ingredient that is a derivative of Senna and of Dovers' Powders, they are not as severe - and make for a more CONCERTED action in the direct functioning of the liver AS it is related to the gall duct area, and not as severe upon the aorta artery circulation or that between the liver and the heart. And they carry a little heart stimulant.

14. However, very SMALL doses of Strychnine administered under the supervision of a physician would be helpful during the period that these are being taken, or each period that it becomes necessary to take same. Not more than a sixtieth or an eightieth of a grain, but combined with other properties, see?

15. After taking the Zilatone Tablets (Two tablets) twice a

760-20 Page 3

day, morning and evening, for two days; then - on the second day (after these have been taken, you see), before arising in the morning take two tablespoonsful of Fleet's Phospho-Soda, in hot water. But do not arise until after this HAS acted. Lie on the right side when this is taken, you see; and well that there be a pillow or some condition holding the area about the liver and gall duct so that there may be as a drainage as this passes from the stomach through the duodenum, through the alimentary canal.

16. After three to five days - or five days after - repeat this. But continue with the Alcaroid AFTER the meals.

17. In the matter of the diet, be very patient and very persistent. Let one meal be of a combination of only raw vegetables, but include in these lettuce, celery, tomatoes, peppers, carrots, onions (not too much of these but a small portion), radish and the like. These may be taken with ANY kind of dressing. Do not try to eat overmuch of this until there has been at least the second drainage, but the lettuce, the celery, cabbage, tomatoes - these should be at least the greater portion of same. Spinach, mustard, any of the greens that may be taken are well. These should be at least once a day, whether the middle of the day or the evening meal. Not too much, for these may turn upon the system unless there is sufficient of the gastric juices to digest same. These may tend to bloat or to make gas worse, but these should be eased along, for these active forces of the fresh vegetables, the juices, the salts, are those needed for the body.

18. No hog meat of ANY kind. Vegetables that are WELL-cooked are preferable for the other meal.

19. Well that at times the violet ray be used over the liver, the gall duct area; not longer than a minute but this stimulation should be helpful; this preferably before retiring.

20. Do that. Ready for questions.

21. (Q) What causes the pounding in the ears? (A) As given, from the circulation that is attempting to adjust itself through a liver disturbance.

22. (Q) Is there any organic heart trouble? (A) The heart trouble arises from a functional condition of the circulation between the lungs, the heart, the liver; though this becoming a long standing condition - as was intimated and given from the first - it becomes alarming unless the liver and gall duct is drained and the gastric forces set aright.

23. (Q) Any other advice at this time? (A) Do not be overanxious. Do not have much of an exercise

during those periods that the Zilatone and the draining of the gall duct is active in the system. For these naturally exercising the activity of dormant conditions through the liver make it hard upon the circulation through the heart, through the lungs, and - to be sure - through the alimentary canal.
