Time of Reading 4:15 to 4:20 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Ky.
1. HLC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes - this is the same place we just had! [For 538-71, for her niece who was visiting her.]
3. As we find, there have been many changes in the general physical forces of the body since we last had same. Some have been towards considerable improvement, yet others are not so well - as related to the auditory nerves and, especially, the condition in or under the central ear - as related to the Eustachian tube.
4. The local applications we would make rather with this combination, according to the physician's instructions for the present condition, and that which has already been applied - the Glycerine with the Carbolic Acid, both purified, of course, and in very small quantities, but under the direction of a physician. The proportions would be near to six to nine drops of the Carbolic Acid in an ounce of Glycerine. These we would massage thoroughly in the exterior portion, as well as the interior along the Eustachian tubes. These, as we find, will bring relief.
5. As to the general condition of the gall duct area, and the effect this has had and is having upon the eliminations, - we find the effects not only in the forming of gas in the stomach and duodenum, but also upon the heart activity.
6. Besides the Packs - which should be repeated occasionally - we would use at each meal a few drops (five to six) of Elixir of Lactated Pepsin in a little water. Then at least once a week take with the meal a full teaspoonful of Milk of Bismuth and eleven to twelve drops of the Lactated Pepsin stirred together in two-thirds of a glass of water. This as we find will materially aid in relieving gas.
7. Of course, this will necessitate the use of colonic irrigations AFTER the taking of the Bismuth, see.

8. These as we find should bring the better helpful conditions for this body.
9. Ready for questions.
10. (Q) Any other suggestions for diet? (A) We would keep close to those things that have been indicated. Keep away from those things that the body finds tend towards the formation of gas.
