Time of Reading 4:00 to 4:25 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [765].

2. Now, as we find, there are disturbing conditions that prevent the better physical functioning of this body. These have to do with specific conditions that have come about by gradual interference with the exercising of the equilibriums in the physical structural portions of the body; and with this a complication of disorders.

3. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [765] we are speaking of:

4. As to the BLOOD SUPPLY, while it is efficient in some respects there are hindrances and deflections in its circulation, as from the nerve pressures that exist in the 12th dorsal, in the WHOLE of the lumbar, and in the axis of the pelvis or the caecum area and the 4th lumbar plexus. These are through a continued impairment to the structural body becoming so that there are the tendencies for the INTERNAL flow, or through the arterial circulation; yet the venous being disturbed through these pressures prevents the flow back to the body. The blood becomes contaminated by this slowness, and hence makes for not only the incapacity of the body-movement through the lower limbs but full in the exterior circulation and in the drosses that are left along portions of the lower limbs. This then reflexly affects the lymph and capillary circulation, through the general torso of the body. And in the reaction to the organs of the assimilation and elimination produces diffusion or disturbances that make for such pressures as to even at times produce in the sympathetics such despondencies on the part of the body that there are the effects not exactly as a mental condition but as a mental reaction to the body.

5. The NERVOUS forces, of course, are those affectations both in the cerebrospinal and in the sympathetic circulation, especially through the lower portions of the

765-1 Page 2

cerebrospinal system itself - as given.

6. As to the functioning of the ORGANS themselves, as related specifically to the disturbances we find in the body, in the reflexes in the nerve forces - the brain forces become involved by their inability to produce the coordination with the locomotions in the system. Hence when there is the attempt to walk or to stand on feet there is such a swimming, such a dizziness, that the body topples FORWARD, rather than to side - or COLLAPSES in a heap. These conditions make for the reflexes in the sympathetic system. Hence we have the tendencies for cold, congestion, shivery feelings when there is any unusual noise or activities around the body; and makes for the disturbances to the whole of the general system.

7. The digestive forces, or the activity of the heart's action, become disturbed through these distresses - and these disorders to the nerve system and to the physical structural portion.

8. But organically, as we find, if there would be the release to those areas as indicated, we would bring a much nearer normal condition for the body - and a relief from much of those fears that hinder the body from performing much that it might be able to perform.

9. These conditions, as we find, would be indicated by either the measurements of the limbs as to their length, or by the variations that would be in the attempts of the body to stand erect upon that where there might be measurements as to the variation in the weight that is made upon each limb.

10. For, while there are disturbances through the pelvic forces naturally from the increase in the inflammation that occurs at times, producing a variation from the activities from the pressure in the 12th dorsal to the kidney and the bladder reactions and the irritations to the portions of system, these would become naturally aided or corrected by the corrections of the unbalanced condition in the areas indicated.

11. In meeting the needs first, then, we would apply mud - whether made from the antiphlogistine or clay - in those orders as to draw the affectations to the exterior portions, from the 10th and 11th dorsal to the end of the spine - once each day, in a thickness of at least a quarter of an inch. Let these remain so that they dry somewhat, on those activities along the spine, or for thirty minutes each day for two to three to five days.

12. After each treatment the spine should be cleansed, and preferably the cerebrospinal system - the whole of the

765-1 Page 3

system, you see, along the spine - massaged with equal portions of Olive Oil and Tincture of Myrrh, heating the oil to add the myrrh; only using sufficient that the body absorbs it - from base of brain to the END of the spine.

13. Then, after the third to fifth day of the mud applications, we would begin with making osteopathic adjustments in the 11th and 12th dorsal, throughout the lumbar area, and specifically or PARTICULARLY release those pressures in the area of the end of the spine or coccyx area - where there is the connection between the locomotory center in the dorsal TO the sciatic centers at the axis, see? especially around either side of the coccyx end of the spine, you see, on the cheek of the hip and those nerves and muscles that come to the brush end of the cerebrospinal system - and center in the muscles that control not only the sphincter muscles from the internal area but those at the head of the locomotory centers in the lumbar that make connections with the sciatic centers in their larger branches about that portion of the spine. Give these treatments once each day for at least eight to ten treatments; then leave them off and have a rest period of an equal length or duration, and then begin again. Just a little correction made each day, not all made at once; but these pressures would relieve the circulation so that there may be, as it were, a back flow from the lower extremities. These treatments, as we find, may be made by Coombs [Leroy Coombs, D.O.] in a satisfactory way, and manner. But first have the three to five days of the mud applications, you see.

14. Be mindful that the diet is such that we have rather the alkalin reaction; which would be more preferable in the fruit and vegetable diet, not too much meats - only those that are the less acid-producing.

15. Ready for questions.

16. (Q) What is the cause of the pain around the right intercostal nerve, and what can be done to relieve it? (A) Remove the pressures in the segment areas as indicated, that make for the connections with the cerebrospinal through the locomotory centers and their branches to the sciatics, and we will find we will remove the intercostal nerve TANGLES that make for pressures through the subluxations in the 11th and 12th dorsal, and that make such a large pressure in the 4th lumbar and in the pelvis axis.

17. (Q) What originally produced these pressures that brought about this condition? (A) A pressure that arose from an inflammatory condition in the pelvis area, that has been eliminated - but left a

765-1 Page 4

pressure produced by segmentations in the spinal system, becoming involved in the lymph flow. Do these, and we will bring much more comfortable and much nearer normal conditions for this body.

18. We are through for the present. Copy to Miss [906] " " Ass'n file (GD's note 12/18/34: See letter [which was enclosed] for you to submit to Dr. Coombs [Leroy Coombs, D.O.] with directions as to osteopathic treatments - when you are ready for them. The list [which was enclosed] of Alkalin-Reacting Foods may be of help, as her diet should consist principally of these.)
