1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [769].
2. Now, as we find, there are disturbing conditions that prevent the better physical functioning in this body, [769]. These conditions, as we find, are of incoordinations. There are hindrances in this direction. There was, with the conception of the body, that which hindered in the normal developments as from the active forces THROUGH the umbilical center. Hence we have in the area adhesions that at times prevent the proper coordination, with the passage of certain characters of foods and the developments of those portions of the organism that affect through same the glands in system; as related especially to the activity of the pineal center and gland. And there is an engorgement of the cord itself, the pineal cord, in the area of the lumbar region. This prevents the proper coordination between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal system, producing spasmodic reactions to the brain centers and to the circulatory system through same.
3. These are the conditions as we find them with this body, [769] we are speaking of:
4. As we find, there may be added to the system certain influences and forces that will aid in the body's development in such measures as to gradually OUTGROW, or to form such influences in portions of the undeveloped and those portions where hindrances have been created, that will cause for the body's adjusting itself in its developing years and change the activity of the organisms through the system to the greater extent, and eventually - if persistent and consistent attention is given - rid the body of these conditions.
5. Beware of any sort of medication or treatment that is sedimentary in its reactions. No bromides of any nature, unless - in developments - changes come about. These must come from the regular assimilation of foods and not of a

superficial nature such as narcotics or hypnotics of any nature that would allay or prevent the normal functioning of the normal nerve reactions in the system.
6. Beware of too much sweets, or of too much greases of an improper nature for the body.
7. We would make application of these:
8. First we would have three or four days twice a month, or every other week, when we would apply heavy Castor Oil packs over the umbilicii, caecum and the lacteal duct area on the right side of the body. Use three to four thicknesses of heavy flannel, dipped in Castor Oil and thoroughly saturated - wrung out as hot as the hands can stand, or as hot as may be stood by the body when put on same. Keep these packs hot and applied to the body for at least an hour to three hours each day, during each three to four day treatment period. They may be kept hot preferably by a dry heat, either with heated salt packs (in bags) or with an electric pad - which would be preferable to wet heat as in a hot water bottle or hot wet packs.
9. We would also give to the body internally, occasionally (this meaning on those weeks when the packs are NOT given), small quantities of Chloride of Gold and Bromide of Soda. Prepare the two solutions in this manner, and keep separate:
10. The Gold solution would be made up in the proportion of one grain Chloride of Gold to one ounce of distilled water, or five grains to five ounces of distilled water.
11. The Bromide of Soda solution would be in the proportion of two grains to each ounce of distilled water, or ten grains to five ounces of distilled water.
12. When the dose is to be taken, put one minim or drop of the Gold solution and two minims or drops of the Soda solution in half a glass of water. This dosage would be taken of mornings before the meals; for three to five days, you see, during those days or periods when the oil packs are NOT given.
13. We would massage into the cerebrospinal system at the specific centers we will designate (and the other portions as a general treatment), a compound prepared in this manner:
14. To 4 ounces Coal Oil or Kerosene as the base, add (IN THE ORDER NAMED): Oil of Wintergreen...............1/2 ounce, Tincture of Myrrh................1/4 ounce, Oil of Cedar Wood................1/2 ounce, Tincture of Benzoin..............1/2 ounce, Witchhazel.........................1 ounce, Rectified Oil of Turp.............20 minims,
769-1 Page 3
Oil of Sassafras.................1/2 dram. These will tend to separate. But shake well together when ready to be used (keeping it away from the fire!); pour a small portion into an open saucer so that it may be massaged; not as rote, but as a thorough massage of what the body will absorb, gently but specifically - in the upper cervical areas, from the first cervical to the third and fifth cervical; in the lumbar area from the sacral axis to the lower dorsal areas - what the body will absorb. Apply this each evening before the body retires.
15. When there are the attacks, put a PINCH of salt on the body's tongue - with a small drink or sip of water. Let the salt be put on DRY. If it is inconvenient to give the water, let it remain as dry - but not so that it strangles the body. Do not mix the salt with the water to give, but put it dry on the tongue.
16. Let the diet be kept properly for the system and the activities in the body to grow normally, yet keep towards those foods of an alkalin reaction. This would be given as an outline, though - to be sure - it may be altered from period to period:
17. Mornings - fruit juices or cereals, either cooked or dry - but do not give cereals and the fruit - citrus fruit juices - at the same meal! Let the cereal, whether dry or cooked, be of the whole wheat or crushed wheat - which would be preferable to the oaten or mixed cereals. Bran Flakes, Post Toasties or the like, are well. Milk may be taken with any of these, or all of them.
18. Noons - preferably the puree of the vegetables, or combined with the juices of meats; but not with quantities of grease in or on same. Never any red meats, raw or rare meats. At the same meal or at other times; there may be taken stewed fruits, grapes, pears, oranges; no bananas, no apples.
19. Evenings - a well-balanced vegetable diet, well-cooked. The meats should consist of broiled or boiled lamb, fowl, liver, tripe, wild game; fish may be taken in moderation. Never any fried foods. Butter may be a portion of the diet, either in the cooking or with the bread - when necessary.
20. Do these consistently, persistently, with this body; and we will find we will rid the body of these conditions. Left to themselves, they will grow to be more detrimental - unless there are the alterations in the activities of the glands of the system.
21. Ready for questions.
22. (Q) Is it alright for him to attend school?

(A) Provided the "turns" do not become so violent as to make for disturbances with the body in his associations or surroundings; or that there is not injury to the body at such times. As we find, if these treatments are kept for three to six months, these would PREPARE the body to such an extent that these conditions would not be as disturbing to the body.
23. We are through for the present.
