Time of Reading 4:00 to 4:10 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [772]; this we have had before.

2. Now, as we find, those disturbing tendencies are not so apparent except at times in the experience of the body. And had those suggestions been followed that we have indicated, these would NOT be of as great disturbance in the present as they appear.

3. Those tendencies for the weakening of the nerve energy, and for conditions, circumstances and environs at times to become irritating, are the effects of pressures upon the locomotories - and especially those of the sympathetic system, in the area of the secondary cardiac plexus, or in the 3rd and 4th dorsal area, which at times makes for those conditions that produce disturbances for the eliminating and digestive system, as well as for the head from the other branches where the connections are with the deeper circulations to the upper portions of the body.

4. As we find, there should be taken those manipulations that we have indicated, NOW with special reference to these particular areas in the upper dorsal and through the cervical; and such conditions in the body would disappear. There is a tendency for the body to easily become irritated, tired or dissatisfied, not able to hold the interest in its own activities and the things it even desires to carry on in and through its associations. Also there is the general physical tiredness that appears. By these manipulations, and the normal activities, associations and relations, we should keep and maintain a normal equilibrium.

5. Of course, a great deal of walking or a great deal of exercise outside might take the place of the manipulations; but even such exercises are NOT as effective as the specific adjustments and manipulations.

6. Ready for questions.

7. (Q) How often should the manipulations be given? (A) Until the adjustments are made, and these may not be attempted all at once. There should be a period of at least three weeks, with treatments two or three times each week; then they may be extended over a period of four to six weeks with one a week, or the like.

8. (Q) What treatment is suggested for the deafness? (A) This area, as indicated, has that tendency for the slowing of the circulation through these portions of the body, and particularly to the auditory forces, which makes the tendencies for the thickening of tissue by the poor circulation - in not only the outer ear but the inner, or the balance in the ear itself. As we find, with the stimulations through the osteopathic treatments, this should be MATERIALLY aided.

9. (Q) Any other suggestions for the body at this time? (A) Keep in that way and manner that is before self always, as of making the activities in its associations and relations not only worth while for self but for those whom the body mentally, materially, contacts.

10. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (See letter [which was enclosed] to Osteopath.)
