1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [777].
2. Now, as we find, the disturbing conditions in the physical forces of the body are rather from a complication of disturbing factors and thus produce many effects that are often taken for the cause. And thus the applications have at times (and the more often so) been only palliative measures in bringing about better conditions.
3. While these disturbing factors are in some respects hidden, and the effects are the more prominent, if there will be carried out those measures for the correction of the causes, we will find many of these conditions will disappear - and much that is the more helpful be the activities in the body.
4. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [777] we are speaking of (at home, etc.):
5. In the BLOOD SUPPLY we find evidences of a poor elimination as well as a distinct disturbance in the various channels of elimination, evinced by the rash that at times appears on the forehead, portions of the body, and the general conditions that arise from same. Also we find the torpidity of the liver, the pressures or conditions that affect through the activities in the kidneys, these are as indications of a disturbance that makes for distresses for the body.
6. Also in the NERVOUS SYSTEM do we find disorders arising from some SPECIFIC reactions, and also conditions (as the rash) that at times arise from the nervous condition; as do the effects to the sensory organism. These, of course, as we find, would require a change in the applications - but these first, and then we may bring for these disorders a much nearer normal condition.
7. As to the functioning of the ORGANS themselves, as we find there has been for some time back those pressures existent in the lower dorsal area - 10th, 11th, 12th dorsal.
777-1 Page 2
These have made for gradually a turning, or the activity of the axis of the lower portion of the body to become more and more the distressed area. And gradually those conditions have builded the effects that have been indicated in the organs of the eliminations; as to the pressures and disturbance in the circulation, as to the reactions in the sympathetics and of the sensory forces to the organs of the sympathetic system - as in head and neck and eyes and ears and throat. All of these are the EFFECTS of these conditions; contributed to, of course, by the various changes that have been brought about from time to time in the body.
8. From these same conditions we have had disturbances with the feet and the lower limbs, that have caused a great deal of disorder. This not at all times, but these have made for distresses in the system.
9. Then, in meeting the needs of these conditions, as we will find, it will require some persistence and a great deal of consistent reactions on the part of the body.
10. First we would have the corrections made in the lumbar and the coccyx area, and especially in the lower dorsal - as we have indicated; the adjustments in the coccyx, the lumbar and lower dorsal area; and a massage, of course, that would make for the coordination. These we would have done chiro- practically, RATHER than osteopathically; for the pressures are the conditions that affect the body. The adjustments would be made EACH day for a period of six to ten days. Then rest or leave off for a period of three to four days. Then have another adjustment period. Continue in this manner until we have taken at least three rounds of the adjustments, see?
11. Also, once each week, we would take a specific exercise, with the salt rum rubs following same. First we would have a sweat, but keeping - of course - the temperature of the body in such a shape and manner as to PREVENT an overtaxation to the circulatory system or to the heart's activity; so do not raise the temperature too high. Following same we would have the salt rum rubs, that will make for a change in the circulatory system; not too heavy, so as to be irritating. At times this may make for an irritation to the tendency for the rash on the body; but we would keep this in order by using palliative rubs following same, using an equal combination of Olive Oil, tincture of Myrrh and Russian White Oil. Heat the oil to add the myrrh. Shake these together, for they will tend to separate at times. Massage over all the cerebrospinal system, especially, and over the general portions of the extremities

and over the body. This will make for a great deal of change, and be most helpful. This would be done once each week, you see; first the bath, then the salt rum rub, and then the massage with the oils.
12. As to the diet, be very mindful that we keep the tendency toward an alkalin reaction. One meal each day should consist of quantities of green or fresh raw vegetables. These may all be combined together in a salad. And we would beware of white breads of any kind, too much Irish potatoes; also beware of red meats or fried foods of any kind.
13. And then after the third period, we would give further instructions.
14. Do that.
15. Ready for questions.
16. (Q) Would you suggest one to give the chiropractic treatments correctly, according to the directions just given? (A) One of the chiropractic school; especially of the Philadelphia school.
17. We are through for the present. [At beginning of waking suggestion, muttered name which sounded like "Williams."] Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (See letter [which was enclosed] with directions to a chiropractor - of your own choice. See letter [which was enclosed] to a hydrotherapist with directions for sweats, rubs, etc. Some chiropractors might have in their offices facilities for giving such treatments. If not, you would get your chiropractic treatments from one place and your sweats, etc., from another. The Alkalin-Reacting Food List [which was enclosed] might be of help to you, as it seems the main portion of your diet should consist of these. Let us know when you have followed the treatments for the period of three rounds with the chiropractor, as indicated, so we may make an appointment for your check reading to give further directions.
