R E A D I N G
Born January 22, 1888, in the extreme Northeast County of Wilcox, about 5 miles from Farmersville in Lowndes Co., Alabama. Time of Reading 10:15 A. M. Dayton Savings Time. ..., Alabama.
1. GC: You will give the relation of this entity and the Universe, and the Universal Forces, giving the conditions that are as personalities, latent and exhibited in the present life. Also the former appearances in the earth's plane, giving time, place, and the name, and that in that life which built or retarded the development for the entity, giving the abilities of the present entity and to that which it may attain, and how, and you will answer any questions which I might ask you regarding any of this.
2. EC: Yes, we have the entity, with those relations with Universe and Universal Forces that are exhibited and latent, and exhibited as personalities from existences in the earth's plane, with that as developed in the present earth plane, with the appearances, with time, place, name and abilities, the developing and retarding, and that to which the entity may attain and how.
3. In the present earth plane, we find the entity took its position from that of Mercury with Jupiter and with Venus, and with Mars. Saturn in the adverse influence, with ennobling assisting influences from Uranus and Neptune. Hence we find the body would ever be more successful near large bodies of water.
4. In the personalities and latent forces then as exhibited, we find as these:
5. One with high ennobling ideals. One whose mental developments will and may advance much in the present earth's plane, for with the influences of Jupiter and of Uranus and Neptune, which come in the next few years, beginning the more in the latter part of 25, in 26, 28, 29, we will find the entity will have those opportunities for the greater development in the mental forces, and opportunities for manifesting same.
6. One then, with the influence of Mars, makes for the

dissatisfaction, especially when Saturn's square with Jupiter, preventing, as it were, those influences as comes from that influence on the entity's earthly force. One who, under such influences, rather morose, or of lacking of confidence in self and in the sincerity of others. This also brings undue influence apparent to the entity in the affairs of the heart, yet we find one with the great home building influence, or, as it were, instinctive home as the greater force in the earth's plane.
7. One we find who is given to the rule of arts from the influences and latent urges, as we shall see, from the various planes of earth's indwelling. One we find who will, with the application of the mental forces as applied in the force of salesmanship, bring much of the world's goods to the entity in 1928, see?
8. One we find who has that ability to draw friends, especially those who are born in March, October and in January. One we find who will gain greater forces by dwelling near large bodies of water, for the vibrations and influences, then, as is seen in Lunar and Aquarius, come to nought in a lesser or greater degree, according to will's application of mental development regarding such influences.
9. As to the appearances and abilities:
10. In the one before this we find in the days of Nero, the Emperor, and the entity then in one of the Guards to the Emperor and in the name Polito (?) [Pontalu? as given in 779-5]. Then we find the entity both developed and retarded, for in work as was required at that period, we find the inmost portions of the body leaned towards those whom the Emperor persecuted, for the body at heart of the faith of peoples. Fear ruled and brought the greater distress to the developing of the body in that sphere (body meaning whole, see? for the body then physically strong).
11. In the one before this we find in the Arabian forces, when the entity then as the comrade to the chief of the Bedouins [[294] - Uhjltd?] who made war on the Persian forces. The entity then in the name Chochi, and the entity developed in the latter days. Hence the greater Mercurian forces in the present plane, for the entity as the soldier did not develop spiritually or mentally, but as the prisoner, and the injured one physically, the entity then developed in mind and in relations to others. The influence then as seen as urge in the present from this, that of the friendships being very strong. One that may be relied upon to every measure of the entity. One that gives these friendships not so often, but in strength, and also we see the influence of the Uranian forces from same, and this

gives the ability of the present builded forces towards that of salesmanship, especially in precious stones, or in any of the rarer art collections, for these were a study of the entity in that period.
12. In the one before this we find in the Egyptian forces, and the entity then in that of the stone collector for the one in the rule, and in the name we find of Aruhi. In this we find the entity one of might and power for a short period, yet in the decided issue taken when the religious rule was disturbed, the entity then in the forces that were banished [with [294] - Ra-Ta, etc.] from the land. During that period we find again the entity a cutter of precious stones, especially those in the Temple Worship.
13. In the one before this we find in the Atlantean rule. The entity then one of high authority, being then the ruler in that land, during the age of advanced forces as seen in earth's plane. The entity ruled well, developed much, until the again forces of the entering of others from other spheres, and through the warring of the nations then in that land, the entity became selfish in that last period. The urge from this is toward those of the arts and especially of that of the work in those of stone, marble, granite, or of elemental forces in same, for under this rule some of the most beautiful buildings were erected in that plane and the entity brought much to the peoples until those destructive forces coming from the rule in the Pyrenees brought the destruction in that land. In the urges, the greater being then, the desire of an understanding of all force as is applied in mechanical construction in lifting forces, for the entity then was able to assist much to the peoples of that period. Ready for questions.
14. (Q) Was the appearance in Arabia at that time that Croesus was in power? (A) When the forces made war from Arabia on Croesus, the entity with the leader of those forces who afterward, falling out among themselves, were taken prisoner by the invading forces from the Caspian force in the North and West. There the entity suffered in bonds.
15. (Q) During whose rule in Egypt was the entity? (A) Araaraart. [341] As to that which the entity may attain in the present plane, and how, in this as is seen, then, the entity has those special qualifications in worker of stone and in salesmanship of precious stones, see? The entity would have made a wonderful jeweller, see? Also we find the entity would have made a preacher, see?

Now, in applying these in the present, through that with which the entity has developed in the present, through exercising of will's forces as applied to those of the surroundings, or of the influences of same, live first near water, see? Live in that Eastern portion of country better than Western, for the influences of that is toward the first rule, see? Then in salesmanship, or in the application of those arts as applied to stone, in any form, see, may the entity succeed. Keeping first and foremost those principles that the spiritual entity must develop as fully as those of the physical, for the spiritual is that that partakes of the whole. Keeping then in that straight and narrow way that leads unto the full understanding of the perfect One.
