Time of Reading 3:20 to 3:40 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Alabama. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [779]; this we have had before.

2. Now, as we find, there are a great many changes in the physical forces of this body from that which we have had here before. There are those conditions disturbing in the present that are rather of the specific nature.

3. While there are definite conditions existent and these arise from what may be called hidden causes, this is a circumstance where the allaying of the effects - or the creating of a balance in a disturbed condition - will alleviate the causes. This is extraordinary; but these are conditions as we find them with this body, [779]. For, as we find, with the nervous tension that has existed with the gradual accumulations of poisons in the system from the lack of the proper eliminations through the alimentary canal, through the drosses from cold and congestion, through the effects that all of these conditions in their combinations have produced in the system, there is a great deal of disturbance through the digestive system and in the organ of preparation for digestion specifically. For with this disturbance there has been produced an overacidity in the gastric flow, even at times regurgitation from the hydrochloric portions of the gastric juices in the stomach proper. The lactic acid has become very much changed, and we haven't ulcerations as yet - but thickening of tissue, and lacerations, and conditions that are VERY, very disturbing to the body. This inflammation that is caused there tends to make for these reactions: Dull headaches, very bad tastes in the mouth; swelling of the lower portion of the tongue or along the esophagus and its action with same at times, or a fullness feeling there; swelling in the hands and feet at times, and all of those effects that arise from poisons from infectious forces being active in the system.

4. Now these are conditions and are really effects, as indicated, but they are a combination of causes.

5. Then, in making corrections for these conditions in the present, and this tendency for the loss of weight, for the burning in the eyes and sores on the tongue and gums and mouth, the breaking out between the toes at times and the tendency for the irritations when there is the activity from the bladder, and all of these - that are the effects, as well as really the condition in the stomach itself, we would:

6. First be mindful very much as to the diet. Let there be a great deal of the citrus fruit juices; or oranges (using same with the pulp), grapefruit, pineapple, all of these, be at least the morning diet; with a coddled egg (but only using the yolk, NOT the white), crisp bacon, whole wheat toast; and preferably use Ovaltine rather than coffee. These will tend to make for a drain for a little while, but keep these up for the morning meal for some time - three to four weeks, at least, until we can get rid of these conditions, see?

7. At times, if it is found to work with the gastric flow as a change, take a malted milk with egg in the middle of the morning.

8. Noons - use broths from vegetables or meats, or a combination; but do not have quantities of grease with same; very little grease, you see, though the beef juice may be a portion of this meal - which would be about a tablespoonful put with the vegetable juices or meat broth, that may be made from either fowl, lamb or the like, see?

9. Evenings - a well-balanced diet, combining those vegetables that grow rather above the ground than below the ground. At this meal there may be taken the mutton, fowl, or fish, or the like; but not hog meats (save the breakfast bacon in the morning, which would be very crisp).

10. Also after each meal (morning, noon and night), take a quarter teaspoonful of Al-Caroid - which will make for the formation of the chyle in the stomach itself proper; immediately after each meal, stir same in a small quantity of water and then add a whole tea glass of water when it is taken, see?

11. For the eliminations and those activities that would be combined with same, we would:

12. One evening before retiring take a tablespoonful Milk of Magnesia.

13. The next evening take a teaspoonful Milk of Bismuth with six to ten drops of Lactated Pepsin stirred in a full glass of water.

14. The next day take the Nature's Remedies, or the NR which is a vegetable compound, you see; ONLY vegetables, which is made from these - that we may take in other forms, but it is compounded in that; one tablet, you see.

15. Repeat this procedure for two or three days; that is, so that you get in about three doses of each, you see - which would make about nine days. Then rest or leave off for four or five days. Then go over it again. And at the end of three such rounds we find that these tendencies - for the soreness, the breaking out, for cold, all of these conditions - will be GONE!

16. Ready for questions.

17. (Q) What is the condition of the blood? (A) Acid!

18. (Q) Are the other organs and glands functioning properly? (A) As indicated.

19. (Q) By what name is this condition called by the medical doctors? (A) Acidosis, with that of a lacerated stomach.

20. (Q) What causes the aching and burning of the feet especially in warm weather? (A) Poor circulation, and acid in the system. Do as we have outlined, and we will be rid of this condition in six to eight weeks.

21. We are through with this reading. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (1/5/35 GD's notes: See directions [which were enclosed] for making pure beef juice. The Al-Caroid antacid digestant powder is made by The American Ferment Co., Buffalo, N.Y., but I think you can get it from local drugstore.)
