1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [780]; this we have had before.
3. As we find, many changes have come about since last we had same here. In many respects conditions are very good, and their reactions very good; but those periods through which the body physically and mentally has been under great strain are now proving very disturbing, at this time, with the changes being wrought, to all activities of the body, - both as to the mental and nervous systems of the body, causing great uneasiness to the system.
4. Then, in making applications for helpful influences, all of these conditions must be taken into consideration; and such administrations made as will react as beneficial effects to the disturbing factors in the glandular system as well as to the physical, mental and nervous systems of the body.
5. The resistances, naturally, have become low.
6. And with these Periods becoming more and more severe, and the greater quantities of the flow giving the greater disturbance in these directions, we find that they must be alleviated or stopped; yet they must not be stopped in such a manner that there would be reactions to the system in the attempts to alleviate these drosses being thrown off through the menses and the beginnings of the menopause period, as an excess in other manners of elimination.
7. Then:
8. We would begin with small doses of Tonicine. This should be kept fresh, and about a quarter teaspoonful taken twice each day - morning and evening.
9. Also, at least every two to three days, we would take an Atomidine douche; but not, of course, during the periods of the flow - though soon after, and throughout the rest periods from the flow. Use a Fountain Syringe for this, you

see, and the proportions would be only half a teaspoonful of commercial strength Atomidine to a quart of water - body temperature.
10. Then we would have the adjustments, GENTLY made. Thompson may make these, as we find, if they are made not so much movements of the segments of the spine but gradually moving such segments by the gentle manipulation; especially in the lumbar, and the sacral areas, and extending on up to the 9th dorsal; THEN the upper cervicals - all treated in that way and manner. Each day we would give such a treatment for about five to six days, then have a rest period of at least the same length of time, and then have the treatments again for five to six days, see? and so on, until the adjustments are completely made - these to be kept in periods of regular changes in these directions.
11. In the matter of activities - let these be rather not so much as to OVEREXERCISE. Keep the feet dry at all times. This does not mean they should not be bathed, or like that, but do not let them be in the wet or get cold.
12. Do not attempt to lift or push heavy objects around, or about.
13. Keep the body and the hands warm at all times, but not too hot.
14. Take exercise in the open whenever weather permits. This should be rather in short periods of walking, or activity that gives the body associations with activities that are pleasant, and not distressing or disturbing; but help someone else in same!
15. In these ways and manners we will bring the better conditions for this body, [780].
16. Ready for questions.
17. (Q) Should any change in eyeglasses be made now? (A) These had best be made after at least the second or third series of the adjustments; for this should aid in strengthening the muscular forces of the eyes so that they would not need so much of a change.
18. (Q) How long before the body should be normal again? (A) This depends upon the reactions, to be sure - and the environmental conditions, and how near normal the reactions are to the activities that have been indicated. These are periods through which there should NOT be any great excitement, nor any troubles that would cause mental and physical reactions that would annoy the body, see?
19. (Q) Any other advice? (A) Do these, for the present.
20. We are through with this Reading.
