Time of Reading San Francisco, 11:20 to 11:30 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. California. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [786], and those conditions about the body. This we have had before.

2. Now, as we find, there is a great deal of improvement in the general physical condition of this body since last we had same here. While the conditions have not built up entirely, those disturbing factors that were as parasites upon the internal organs of the system are eliminated. And if there will be kept the general activities necessary for making the body rebuild and replenish, the body should develop now in a near normal manner.

3. We would, then, outline rather these for the activities of the body:

4. Be very mindful that the diets are body and blood building. Citrus fruit juices of all kinds. Orange juice with a little lemon in same; four to five parts orange juice to one part lemon or lime juice. Grapefruit juice, with a little salt rather than sugar in same. Pineapple juice. These are very, very good for the body. They may be taken two or three times a day, provided the body can be induced to take same.

5. Coddled egg occasionally, but only the yolk - this is much preferable.

6. Gerber's vegetable juices are good for the body; these may be taken at times, or prepared with a little gluten in same - as with rice (this should be the brown or unpolished rice) or barley mixed with same at times.

7. The regular preparations of milk would be well; not the raw milk, but the prepared milks may be used occasionally for the regular developing.

8. And all the vegetables may be taken that are PREPARED for the body; as beans, bean soup, a little cabbage at times - both raw and cooked.

9. Especially the liver made as a liver pudding would be well, or broiled liver; but never fried. Calves' liver is

preferable.

10. The Olive Oil rubs would be well for the body occasionally.

11. To make for eliminations, we would use the Fletcher's Castoria in very SMALL quantities whenever necessary; just a quarter teaspoonful about every half hour until there is FULL activity from the alimentary canal.

12. Keeping these things for the body will make for the better conditions, [786].

13. Ready for questions.

14. (Q) What is causing ammonia odor in the urine? (A) The effects of those conditions that act upon the system, as has been indicated from the eliminations in the body. Hence the use of the properties found in Castoria (the Fletcher's). For the active principles, of course, are in the Senna - which will work with the digestive forces, the kidneys and the activities in the liver proper; while the Pumpkin and Watermelon seed in this are the active principles upon the kidney activity.

15. (Q) Is the liver functioning properly now? (A) Better; but, as indicated, it would be well that the properties in the Castoria be given occasionally to make for the proper eliminations.

16. (Q) Would you suggest any special brand of Milk? (A) Any of those that are prepared and may be given the body. Eagle Brand Milk is very good, or Dry Milk, or any of the Malted Milks - these are ALL very good. We would suggest that occasionally, once or twice a week, there be given the body a cooked cereal with a little milk (but not at the same meal with citrus fruit juices); and in this we would use either Carnation or Eagle Brand Milk as the cream for same - or mixed with same. Maltex is preferable for growing children.

17. (Q) Should he have sugar in any form? (A) He will get sugar from the vegetables and from the milk itself.

18. (Q) Any honey? (A) Honey in the honeycomb will be very good, but not large quantities.

19. (Q) Should he have only the foods prescribed? (A) We would rather use Gerber's food preparations, and fresh fruits, and the active forces of fresh vegetables, than any that have been prepared otherwise.
