Time of Reading 3:25 to 3:35 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Ind. (Physical Suggestion, with special reference to cause and cure of obesity)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [789].

2. Now, in special reference to the obesity:

3. As we find, there has been and is the overactivity of the glands as related to the circulation between the portions of the system that are related to the assimilating, the eliminating, and the rebuilding or reconstructive forces in the body.

4. These, as has been indicated, are as the causes of the conditions.

5. The warnings respecting same, that have been indicated, are towards the disturbing of the metabolism of the system - or as related to the blood pressure in the body and the natural conditions that come to exist between arterial and the venous circulation; or that which is in the trunk portion between lungs, heart and liver.

6. In making applications, then, that we find would be the more helpful, and in making the corrections that would be of the constructive nature to bringing about a nearer normal balance in the body:

7. It is necessary that precautions be taken respecting the diet, yet the greater precautions would be towards keeping in balance that which would PREVENT the conditions becoming such as to be most detrimental TO the physical forces of the body. Or, in other words, there should be created an even, balanced circulation throughout the system.

8. So, we would use the applications of the plain Radio-Active Appliance, with the attachments alternated through the body in this manner: One day the first anode would be attached to the right wrist and the last anode to the left ankle. The next day the first attachment would be made to the right ankle and the last attachment to the left wrist. Then the next day the first attachment would be made to the left ankle and the last to the right wrist. The next

day first to the left wrist and the right ankle. The attachments would be alternated in this manner about the body. The applications would be made each day for fifty to seventy-five minutes, preferably in those periods when the body would rest, rather than after the body retires; though if it is more convenient the applications may be made in the evening.

9. We would take internally the Atomidine, to act with all the glands in an ELIMINATING way and manner. Take one minim in half a glass of water before the morning meal, and one minim before retiring. Take in this manner for ten days. Then rest or leave off for five days. And then begin again. Continue in this manner.

10. As to the diet: Let there not be sweets or starches in too great a quantity. Let one meal each day be wholly of raw green vegetables; with which there may be used an oil or a salad dressing.

11. Keep the eliminations near normal through the use of the diet. Or, when necessary, as each body should, have regular periods of cleansing the colon.

12. Ready for questions.

13. (Q) What is the general physical condition? (A) Very good.

14. (Q) Are all the organs functioning properly? (A) As indicated, there are the gland secretions that make for overactivity in some portions of the body; and this not only for glands but for the functioning of the organs. But if we will correct the glands' activity we may make corrections in the organs. Do these, and we should find in thirty to sixty days a great deal of change and much nearer normalcy for the body.

15. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (See letter [which was enclosed] to the Reilly Service, with specifications for the Appliance needed. See booklet [which was enclosed] on Atomidine. Take as given in reading; NOT as directed on bottle.)
