Time of Reading 11:15 to 11:30 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Florida. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here.

2. Now, as we find, there are specific conditions that disturb the better physical functioning of this body. While the effects are disturbances in the circulation, in the manner in which eliminations are carried on, in the conditions that arise at times in the digestive system, and from the nerve pressures the headaches, the burning of the eyes, fullness in the throat, the weakness at times in the whole of the body, the tendency for the tired languid conditions that arise, these are all the effects of specific conditions that exist in the system.

3. As we find, there has been and still exists to a great extent a great deal of scar tissue - with adhesions and lesions. These have made for specific unbalancing in the axis of the body. But with the subluxations in the 4th and 2nd lumbar, the 12th, 11th and 10th dorsal vertebrae, these make for those repressions in the circulation producing those effects through the cycle of activity that is indicated. At times this is of such a disturbing factor in the circulation as to cause or to produce a rise of temperature, making for acute pains across the lumbar area that is affected - and that affects the whole hepatic circulation; producing then an irritation to the kidneys and the bladder specifically, making for an irritation in the clitoris as to produce an itching that becomes very disturbing at times to the body.

4. In meeting the needs of the conditions, as we find, first we would have specific adjustments and manipulations along the whole of the cerebrospinal system (and these we would give osteopathically), but make the specific adjustments in the 4th lumbar, the 12th and 10th dorsals. We would also make for the coordination of the whole of the cerebrospinals's reaction with the SYMPATHETIC nervous system, not only from the coccyx area but in the 9th dorsal,

the 2nd and 3rd dorsal or brachial center, and throughout the upper cervical region - even to the atlas. We would make the specific adjustments also in such manners as to relieve the pains in the head, through the 5th nerve, through the vagus nerve through the sympathetic's reaction to the head and the neck. We would have the manipulations at least three times each week.

5. In those periods of excruciating pain, that comes at times across the abdomen, just below the liver and across the whole lumbar area - lower lumbar area - we would apply the saturated solution of Epsom Salts in hot packs. These we would apply for periods until the body is relieved. These are for specific conditions that should be gradually corrected by the osteopathic correction along the cerebrospinal system. Such packs would be used only when the pain is severe.

6. We also find that the douches of a mild use of Creolin would aid in relieving the conditions that disturb the bladder, and for those conditions in the uterus. Use about half a teaspoonful of Creolin to a quart of lukewarm water. Use the douches only about once or twice a week to keep down the inflammation and those tendencies for the activities to become too often.

7. As a stimuli for the digestive system, for toning the activities of the gastric juices of the stomach, to stimulate the liver in its activity, and to relieve those tendencies for the accumulations from the temperature through the kidney activity and the bladder overflow, we would use a compound prepared in this manner:

8. To 4 ounces of Simple Syrup, we would add: Essence of Wild Cherry...................1 ounce, Compound Syrup of Sarsaparilla........ 1/2 ounce, Tincture of Stillingia.................1/4 ounce, Syrup of Rhubarb........................20 minims, Elixir of Calisaya.....................1/2 ounce. We would shake together before the dose is taken, and the dose would be half a teaspoonful after the meals three times each day.

9. Let the diet be rather that which is of the alkalin nature, and that is body-building also. Hence we would use a great deal of ripe fruits, green vegetables, and juices of beef, liver (broiled), fish (but not shell fish); all of these will make for the body-building forces for this body.

10. Do that. Ready for questions.

11. We are through for the present.
