1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [798].

2. Now, as we find, there is rather a complication of conditions that disturb the better physical forces of the body. These, as we find, affect the body in different manners; yet at times it has become necessary for the application of those things to relieve the effects rather than removing the causes.

3. This condition, we find, can be materially aided, and bring a great relief and some years of much nearer normal activity to this body, [798] we are speaking of.

4. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body:

5. There having been the activities such as to have disturbed the metabolism of the BLOOD SUPPLY, and the weakening of the walls of the venous and arterial circulation, there came that condition when the walls BROKE - as it were; causing a partial - at first much more than in the present - paresis, or paralysis. This naturally, making for the less activity in some directions, has weakened the general conditions in the body. Yet much of that which has been administered, as we find, has been along the more helpful lines.

6. However, we would add those applications that will equalize the circulation in the extremities in such measures as to prevent this slowing of the circulation.

7. Also we would add those properties that will make for the relieving, and to produce more of a rotary motion in the nerve reactions in the segment cellular forces - or the ganglia area along the cerebrospinal system, and as they accord with the sympathetics.

8. Thus we would bring much more of a normalcy and a relief; not forgetting, to be sure, the proper diet.

9. These additions would not alter those applications which the body feels that are at times necessary for its heart

798-1 Page 2

activity, and for its circulation; for under these additional treatments it will be found that such applications will not be so necessary to the better functioning of the body.

10. Hence, as we would find for this body, we would apply these:

11. We would use for thirty to fifty minutes EACH day the plain wet cell battery appliance, in the manner as to make for an increasing circulation to the extremities. So, it would be applied in this manner: One day the copper anode would be attached - first - to the right wrist, and the nickel anode - last - to the left ankle. The next day the copper anode would be attached first to the left wrist, while the nickel anode would be attached last to the right ankle. Rotate in this manner about the body. Make these attachments as the body rests.

12. Also we would prepare a compound for massaging, in this manner: (While in some respects this will be a little disagreeable to the niceties of the body itself, as to its care of its person, it will be found to be MOST beneficial.)

13. To 1/2 gallon of regular Gasoline (not colored in any form, you see; not that which has had its coloring matter put in it, but the regular white Gasoline), add: (in the order named) Oil of Cedar Wood.......................1 ounce, Spirits of Camphor..................2 1/2 ounces, Oil of Wintergreen....................1/2 ounce, Oil of Sassafras..................... 1/4 ounce. Shake this solution well together each time before a small quantity is poured in an open container for massaging, which would be every other day - and massage only what the body absorbs, along the cerebrospinal system from the base of the head towards the end of the spine, and especially in the brachial plexus and in the lumbar and sacral plexus, and - of course, along the heavier nerve (the sciatic) down the under portion of the limbs, the brachial nerve on the under portion of the arm. After it has been allowed to dry thoroughly, then the body may be sponged off - if preferable to the body.

14. As to the diets: We would use not too much sweets, but preferably raw vegetables - at least have one portion of one meal each day consist of a combination of raw vegetables in a salad; such as celery, lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, radishes, carrots, beets, spinach, mustard, onions, lentils and the like. There is the need of such stamina that may be

798-1 Page 3

supplied by the combinations of the GREEN vegetable forces with the activities in the system. Watercress, especially, is well for the body, and may be included in the salad. This should be eaten at least during one meal each day. And the rest of the diet should consist of the more alkalin-reacting foods. For, in all bodies, the less activities there are in physical exercise or manual activity, the greater should be the alkalin-reacting foods taken. ENERGIES or activities may burn acids, but those who lead the sedentary life or the non-active life can't go on sweets or too much starches - but these should be well-balanced.

15. Do these and, as we find, we would bring the better conditions for this body, [798].

16. Ready for questions.

17. Keep an attitude of helpfulness, cheerfulness, hopefulness. BE OPTIMISTIC! At least make three people each day laugh heartily, by something the body says! It'll not only help the body; it'll help others!

18. (Q) How long will it take before a return to normal health? (A) This will depend, of course, upon the applications and the response the body makes; and the attitude that is held. These treatments, as we find, should make for a relief SOON; in ten days to two weeks SOME CHANGES - but we need not expect there not to be those periods when there will be bad reactions; for the weather, the temperature, the atmospheric pressures and the general surroundings will make blue days as well as brighter days. But don't forget the recipe of making three people laugh every day!

19. (Q) Can steps be taken to prevent a recurrence of the illness? (A) That's what we are trying to do, prevent a recurrence and to absorb those conditions in the ganglia along the system as indicated - that will make an even flow of the circulatory system both as to impulse within and impulse without! That means the arterial circulation, the venous circulation, the lymph circulation, and the nerves' energies or responses that are not in accord with the cerebrospinal and sympathetic system. Do these.

copy of an Alkalin-Reacting Diet List. The oils for the massage may be brought separately and then put together AS indicated. If everything is not clear, let us know. GD.)
