Born March 1, 1886, 58 Broad Street, Utica, N.Y. Time of Reading 4:00 to 4:30 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Life Reading Suggestion)

1. EC: (In going back over years - " - 58 Broad Street - it's changed - another building of another nature.")

2. We have the entity here, and those relations with the universe and universal forces, that are latent and manifested in the personalities of the present entity. (Quite a to-do at the christening of this entity.)

3. In giving those influences that may be helpful to this entity in the present, know that the astrological sojourns - or those periods of the entity's or soul-entity's sojourn in the interims from its appearances in the earth (in those environs about same in which the attributes have been builded that are developed now) are just as those opportunities offered in an earthly sojourn. That the soul changes in its outlook as the development goes on, in making for the oneness of purpose, of desire, of aim, with the Creative Forces, is a portion of the experience in those environs.

4. Hence when the entity enters the earth plane (with which we are dealing in the present, and which is to be used for each opportunity that is presented for an activity of the mental and soul forces) it is but a period again and again of the application either of the universal forces, that make for a oneness of activity of the soul; or an activity in what becomes the fruitage thereof as destructive forces, or hardships, or influences that make for tempering of the soul for its purposes, its activities, its desires throughout an experience.

5. Hence the astrological sojourns are only as inclinations.

6. As to such activities, then, we find the entity in the present is under the water sign, or Pisces. Hence to live near bodies of water, to be associated in its activities with things having to do or to deal with the shipping

798-4 Page 2

business, or fishing business, or boat building, or the inter-commerce of a larger scale, any of these in which the entity may interest itself will be found not only to be of aid and of interest, but to be remunerative to the entity in its experience in the sojourn.

7. We find that Jupiter as a ruling influence makes for the greatness of vision, the periods when there have been the visions of the entity making for an activity of its OWN that would astonish others, that would make for a place for itself, making for a career. These have been a portion of the entity's dreams.

8. Yet those influences from sojourns in Venus, with Mars, have made for a temperament where the entity would carry most of these out in its own mind, as a day dream.

9. Hence it becomes one very sensitive to activities; interested ever in WHATEVER is going on in any field of activity, anything that deals with commerical affairs, those things that deal with the trade relationships, those things that are of a political nature; those things that pertain to the efforts in any given direction, whether in the field of economics or in the field of religious education. All of these have a place and a portion in the experience of the entity; INNATELY, and at times manifestedly.

10. As to the appearances in the earth, then, and those that influence the entity in the present, we find:

11. Before this the entity lived in the earth during those periods when there were the disturbing forces just previous to or at what may be termed in the American experience as the French and Indian War, in those portions of the land of the entity's nativity in the present; when there were those turmoils from the north and from the west that made for discouragements to those who were in association and relations with the entity.

12. The entity's activity during the sojourn was associated with one that made for a grinding of grain, and a running of those things that made for the turning of the logs into lumber. These sorts of things were the activities, which made for dealings then of the entity in the association and connections with other groups, other affiliations, other activities. Hence it was sort of a COMMERCIAL life, yet dealing with the political, the economical, the social, the religious, and all of those relations that dealt with the affairs of peoples during the experience.

13. During that experience the entity gained and lost. For when there arose those periods that made for the antagonisms (that arise from what may be termed the Martian activity; which brought contentions and strifes), there were the

798-4 Page 3

desires that there be within the experience of individuals incapacitation for their activity in this or that or the other field. Hence these brought about the HINDERING of the entity in its mental and soul development in those portions of that experience.

14. In the present we find from that sojourn the quickness of drawing the character of individuals whom the entity may meet, the making for quick judgments as to those with whom the entity would associate self and those with whom it would not. Also there are those material activities in which the entity has found hindrances in its own relations in the present.

15. Before that we find the entity was in that now known as the Roman experience, or when there were those returnings of the soldiery from the wars in the various lands over which the Roman peoples had rule as to activities; as in northern Africa, Arabia, Persia and the Holy Land.

16. The entity then was among those to whom much was given as to reports or associations, or activities that dealt with the social relationships brought about by the activity of those in actual service in the various fields.

17. Hence the entity came to learn much of what had taken place in the Palestine land during those periods when the Son of man walked in the earth. The entity only heard this as hearsay from the companion and from the relationships and the friendships, yet when there began the teachings of those who came into the land the entity embraced the opportunity for the tenets (as known then) as part of the experience; and brought soul and material development during that experience, as Uelin.

18. The entity suffered in body, in mind at times, yet it learned that - though there may be material suffering, though there may be material denials - if the purpose, the ideal, the aim is aright, and in keeping with that which is constructive, that which is love, that which is fellowship, that which is patience, it brings those satisfactions that are known only deep within the inner self.

19. Hold fast ever to those truths, those tenets that ye gained in thine meditation, thine contemplation, thine activity in that sojourn.

20. Those things pertaining to working in linens, brocading, knitting, applique work, tatting, and things of such nature, from the experience of the entity through that sojourn, become as a portion of the entity's activities; either INNATELY or manifestedly - and at times both.

21. Before that we find the entity was in that now known as the Egyptian land, during those periods when there were the

798-4 Page 4

distributions of those who set themselves as teachers, as ministers, as aids to those in authority in the various fields of activity.

22. The entity then was among those of the native land, and of the native peoples who joined with the activities dealing with the aid to the sick, the afflicted; dealing with bodily care, and the nurturing of the young.

23. Hence in the present those things become of particular interest to the entity that pertain to home, to home building, to home economics; to what may be termed PREVENTATIVE medicines, or to the PREVENTING of conditions in the experience.

24. In the experience then, as Helenenne, the entity gained. And in the application of those things which the entity may build in itself in the present may come much satisfaction, in following those tenets that were in the activity of the entity during that particular experience. That is, those things the hands find to do; those things that may bring cheer or help or comfort to the physical body, the mental body, or to those who are afar afield to those that are in the seeking class, to those who need the attention in their formative years.

25. In these fields of activity may the entity in the present find the greater satisfaction, the greater joy; and that peace and harmony that makes for the APPLYING of that the entity gained as the Roman who learned of the Son of man.

26. Ready for questions.

27. (Q) In which incarnations, and how, was I associated with my cousin, [261]? (A) In the Egyptian; and in those activities that dealt with the spreading and the ministering of those things in the experience of individuals that brought the activities for the acknowledgement and application of brotherly love.

28. (Q) Please describe the family life and mode of living during the Egyptian incarnation. (A) As is known, the peoples who entered in were rather tent dwellers; while the natives had been among those who, for the greater portion of their sojourn, had builded houses - that were low in height, which made for the preservation or protection during those seasons that necessitated the coverings, not only for the cold but for the rainy seasons there - as has ever been. Yet the greater portion of the home life and its activity was carried on in what might now be termed as the roof, or the outer activity was upon the roof of the dwellings. These were builded, as it were, close together in various groups, or the various families or

various tribes. These were the manners of the life.
