Time of Reading 11:35 to 11:50 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. Washington, D.C. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [808]; this we have had before.

2. In the present we find that acute conditions have arisen. The effects are exhibited in the inflammation of the mucous membranes through the head, congestions through the eliminating canals, the tendencies for the mucous membranes in the throat, the head, in the chest, to give pain - or an inflammation and a natural tendency towards a plethoric condition.

3. Thus, we must not only make applications to overcome these influences and make for destructive forces to the bacilli that produced same, but we must take precautions as to those conditions that may arise through an inflammation through the colon - as an EFFECT of these conditions being eliminated through the alimentary canal.

4. The temperature that comes is the effect of this inflammation, and the natural tendency for an increase in the flow of the leucocytes through affected portions by the cold germ.

5. Then, in meeting the conditions in the present:

6. First, remain quiet - or in bed; at least quiet, until there is no temperature at all.

7. Let the diet be principally the citrus fruit juices, or of the alkalin reactions in the system.

8. To quiet the mucous membranes and to relieve that tendency for irritation, or the cough, we would prepare a combination in these proportions (though a double quantity may be prepared at the time if desired, for it may be kept - and a dose taken two to three times a day):

9. Beat the white of an egg until it is very fluffy. Then, AS it has been fluffed, beat into same a teaspoonful of honey and the juice of a whole lemon. The dosage would be one to two to three teaspoonsful at a time.

10. This will work well with the digestive system, if the fruit juices and vegetable juices are used - and a little bit later beef juice, and then the semi-liquid foods; as the broth of chicken, or the broiled chicken or the like may be taken. [See Par. 20-A below.]

11. We would find the use of the Radio-Active Appliance to be helpful and beneficial.

12. In the next two or three days, we would have THIS compound prepared, in THIS manner, to meet those conditions that may arise - or will have the tendency to arise, and to allay disturbances through the colon and the alimentary canal:

13. Two 2 ounces of Strained Honey add 3 ounces of Distilled Water. Let this come to a boil; keep stirring at the time it is heating - not boiling too much, but this is just as the carrier. Then add to same: Elixir - or a FUSION of the WILD GINSENG.....1/2 ounce, Indian Turnip (a fusion or Elixir)...........1/4 ounce, Tincture of Stillingia.......................1/4 ounce, Syrup of Rhubarb.............................1/4 ounce, Horehound (the Syrup of).....................1/2 ounce. Add to this 1/2 ounce of Pure Grain Alcohol. The dose of this would be, not only for the mucous membranes of the throat and head but for the digestive system, a teaspoonful every three or four hours. Or, if there is a tendency for restlessness of evenings, or tendency more for the cough, this may be taken as often as an hour and a half to two hours apart.

14. We would have a general manipulation.

15. We would take a high enema.

16. And, as we find, these would make for - in a very short period (two to three days) - an alleviation and the ELIMINATION of these disturbing conditions.

17. Ready for questions.

18. (Q) What causes, and what will relieve, headaches? (A) The temperature and the inflammation. And these taken in the indicated way and manner will relieve the disturbance.

19. (Q) What about the eliminations? (A) These, of course, must be increased - as we have indicated - by the use of the enemas and the GENERAL manipulations.

20. (Q) What causes, and what will relieve, pains in stomach? (A) There is a drain upon the mucous membranes that supply the effluvia for the blood supply to create or produce an

808-4 Page 3

active force in the blood CELLS that are the warriors. The drain upon the system produces a tendency for contraction, and the inclination for the production of an acid condition. Hence those things as given as to the alkalinity for the system in its foods, as well as in those properties we are suggesting to be taken for the allaying of the inflammation in throat, through the whole of the alimentary canal, and these activities as we have indicated for the body.

21. (Q) What is the difference in taking into the system the white of an egg raw, and cooked? [See Par. 9, 10 above.] (A) That depends upon the system, and upon the manner and with what combinations it is taken. For, as we have indicated for this body, it is not well that the white of the egg be taken, for it tends to make for an acid reaction. But when it is beaten very thoroughly first, and then the honey and the lemon added, the reactions are entirely different; for the properties in same not only react upon the body through the mucous membranes of the digestive forces but through the whole of the lymph circulation, also adding to the system a NECESSARY force that IS needed in the system for the assistance of coagulation of the lymph flow in the creation of the blood cells themselves. It is as the NATURAL reaction of the yolk of an egg. It isn't that there should be all acid in any system, nor all alkaline; but it is the REACTION of these UPON the system that aids in CREATING the elements in the body, see? [See 808-4, Par. R1.]
