Time of Reading 5:00 to 5:20 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Washington, D.C. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [811]; this we have had before.

2. As we find, conditions show a great improvement from that since last we had same here. There is still a great deal at times to be desired in the physical forces of the body, and we would follow in those ways and manners that have been indicated and that are being followed in the present.

3. In making the massage in the present, as we find, there would be this addition by the one making the massage:

4. To 4 ounces of Witchhazel as the base, add: Russian White Oil.......................1 ounce, Oil of Cedar Wood.......................1 ounce, Compound Tincture of Benzoin..........1/2 ounce, Oil of Sassafras.......................40 drops. This, to be sure, will tend to separate, but before using shake thoroughly together and massage into the spine and along the area of same, and specifically in the 3rd and 4th cervical, the 3rd to the 6th dorsal, and in the lumbar and across the sacral area. We would cover the whole area, of course, but in these particular spots or positions.

5. We will find this will make for strengthening to the muscular forces; it will relieve those tendencies for the body to tire so easily, and will overcome much of the anxiety that has existed.

6. When this has been massaged, well that the whole spine - after it has absorbed what it will - be rubbed off with a small quantity of rub alcohol; but in the hand, not on other properties - which will also strengthen.

7. The rest, with the diet, with those applications indicated, we would follow.

8. Ready for questions.

9. (Q) Are the neuropathic treatments being administered correctly? (A) These are very good; only, as indicated, we would use this with same, see?

10. (Q) This prescription sounds the same as that given before. (A) The ingredients are changed somewhat and their proportions, and the carrier. These at the present time are those better for the muscular forces of the body.

11. (Q) Should the neuropathic treatments be continued, and if so, for how long? (A) We would continue same for at least four to six weeks longer.

12. (Q) Are the violet ray and the radio-active appliance being used correctly and at the proper periods? How long should they be taken? (A) These are being taken properly, as we find. Be more careful when the Radio-Active is taken that the anodes or small plates are polished, and that they are firmly in place. The violet ray may be continued for two, three, four weeks. Use the Radio-Active whenever the body feels tired, or whenever there is the tendency for not resting properly.

13. (Q) How many neuropathic treatments should be given each week? (A) One or two. Two would be preferable, but at times one is sufficient.

14. (Q) The body has been advised to visit an orthopedic physician and have the spine placed in a cast for a time. Would this action be advisable? (A) Not necessary. If these applications suggested are made properly along the spine, it will not be necessary.

15. (Q) Does it now appear that the body will eventually attain a normal condition? (A) It will.

16. (Q) Could any particular exercises be suggested for this body which would strengthen the back? (A) Any of the setting-up exercises, provided these are not taken too severely.

17. (Q) The intervals between menstrual periods are becoming much shorter for several months. What is the cause of this and can it be corrected? (A) This will naturally correct itself as the system adjusts itself to those changes of the stimulations that have been and are being wrought in the body. Do not let this become as a condition to become wary about; for these conditions will adjust themselves normally.

18. (Q) Are the eyes and surrounding tissues in good condition? (A) These are fair. To be sure, there are those conditions that at times tend to make for the body to peer or to

811-4 Page 3

concentrate to make for the using of the eyes, which makes for a straining at times. These conditions should gradually disappear as the body is able, or enabled by the whole of the applications, to relax more thoroughly.

19. (Q) Is reading on street cars injurious to the eyes of this body? (A) Very!

20. (Q) Can my hearing be improved? If so, how? (A) By making those adjustments and those rubs in the areas indicated, in the 3rd and 4th cervical, in the 3rd and 4th and 5th and 6th dorsal; these will aid in this direction.

21. (Q) Are any of the cosmetics used about the face producing harmful effects? (A) We would change to the regular Black and White preparations; these are much preferable, these are more beneficial to the cuticle. (GENUINE Black & White Products Co., Chicago - NOT Plough's Black & White.)

22. (Q) Does patting of the tissues of the face help to keep the muscles from sagging or are face exercises better? (A) It does. The patting of the tissue is the better.

23. (Q) Has this body any harmful habits? (A) No; except worrying.

24. (Q) Is the blood pressure right for this body? (A) It alters; but as the conditions are corrected this should become normal.

25. (Q) Could a particular food be mentioned which would help this body to overcome constipation? (A) As we find, any of those such as figs, raisins, pie plant. Occasionally taking the effluvia of the Psyllium is well.

26. (Q) The body does not feel really rested at any time though receiving eight hours of sleep on the average. What is the cause of this? (A) This worrying, and the tendency for so many of the ganglia along the cerebrospinal system to be - as it were - at nerve points. The use of the Radio-Active Appliance for long periods should aid in making this much better, as well as the continuing of the massage and especially the rubbing as indicated.

27. (Q) How may I eliminate the small pyorrhea pocket in my gum? (A) The use of those applications as will make for the relieving of this, as we find, would be in a local rather than a general application of the Ipsab.

28. (Q) Is there anything wrong with my feet? (A) Nothing WRONG with the feet; only there needs to be those periods - when the adjustments are made - that the bursae of the feet are relieved of the pressure.

29. (Q) Is there any further suggestion at this time concerning the care of this body? (A) Be patient with self; be patient with those surrounding conditions about the body that may make for those worriments; and KNOW that what is being applied will make for the better physical balance for the body, thus giving the better channel for the mental and spiritual activity. Meet those conditions as they arise with that same manner and mien as would be desired by self in the experiences of others.
