You will please examine the progress made by the entity since the Life Reading of February 17, 1935, and give such detailed advice for the future as will aid the entity to go forward materially, socially, and spiritually, and ans. the ques.)
1. EC: Yes. ("Reading.")
2. We have the entity now called [816], and the information that has been given respecting the experiences of the entity in the earth; and those influences from the astrological sojourns as respecting the present activities.
3. In giving that as may be constructive in the experience of the entity at this time, WHO is to say as to whether an entity has advanced or made use of the opportunities from any given period?
4. Rather it is expedient that there be, by the entity, an analysis of self and self's motives, self's desires; as may be judged by those that are the ideals of the entity, materially, socially, mentally, spiritually.
5. And if the entity has not measured up to that which is its ideal, then the corrections must be within self.
6. The ideal ever is that each entity fulfill that purpose for which it has entered any given experience.
7. What then are the purposes for a material manifestation of the totality of an entity's experience through mind, spirit, into matter?
8. That the entity may become more and more in accord with that which would make the entity a part OF the First Cause, or Creative Forces that are manifested in the material world in so many ways or manners.
9. For Spirit is the natural, the normal condition of an entity. For hath it not been given, God is Spirit and seeketh such to worship Him, in spirit and in truth?
10. Then an entity's experience, or advent into material

manifestation, is to make the paths straight. For TODAY, in the experience of EVERY soul manifested, is the OPPORTUNITY to make manifest that which IS ideal, in the experience of that individual entity.
11. That there is spirit, mind and matter is self-evident in the expressions in which one finds oneself by the very awareness or consciousness of existence, and of the varying experiences or expressions that may be had in its daily relationships, its daily experiences with its fellow man.
12. Other individuals are individual manifestations of THEIR individual portion of that Creative Force.
13. Then that there are ideal relationships in each must be self-evident, but - as each entity, each soul, is creative and self-willed, then WHO may draw a line but that consciousness that thy spirit beareth witness with thy Maker's Spirit, as to whether ye fulfillthat best demonstration or manifestation of thy expression in any given period or material manifestation?
14. For God is not mocked, and whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap.
15. Then, there are ideal relationships in the material associations, in the financial structure (which, sad to say, too oft is the judgment in material associations), and in the mental attitudes - yea, in the spiritual attributes.
16. And then, as must be seen, must be felt, must be experienced sooner or later the awareness, the consciousness that, only SPIRIT is everlasting, then the promptings, the balance must be spiritual in its essence in dealing with or judging the mental attitudes, the social relationships, the material experiences.
17. For unless they are such, how CAN they be EVER lasting or constructive in the experience of any individual entity?
18. For that which had a beginning has an end.
19. Then, as ye begin to show forth in thy relationships with thy fellow man the love the Father hath shown to the sons of men, by not being willing that any soul should be separated from Him, ye must - by the very manifestations - at SOME experience come to be a separation or a fusion or union with the Creative Forces; with the abilities - by will itself - to KNOW thyself to be thyself yet one with thy Maker.
20. Even as thy Pattern - even as thy Brother, thy Savior - who KNEW, as He gave, "I and my father are one - as ye abide in me and I in him, so SHALL ye know the truth."
21. And as has been given, the truth shall make you free.
22. Then in the counsel to the entity in the present, KNOW THYSELF and thy relationships to thy Maker and to thy fellow

man, and He hath promised, "As ye abide in me, so may I abide in thee."
23. Seek, ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto thee. "Call and I will hear."
24. Is thy purpose, is thy desire then one with Him? These be thy tests. Do ye show forth thy Lord's death till He come again? In manifesting in thy relationships with thy fellow man the fruits of the spirit? Hast thou grown more tolerant? Hast thou grown more patient? Hast thou shown more brotherly love? Hast thou given of thyself, DENYING thyself that they who have lost hope, they who are wandering, they who are discouraged might be ENCOURAGED, find hope?
25. THEN ye know ye are growing in grace, in knowledge, in understanding of thy purposes in the earth.
26. Hast thou grown to be so they who meet thee day by day take thought that thou hast in thy mental self walked with thy Maker?
27. THESE ye answer from within thyself. These ye know, these ye understand. Follow in the way that leads to everlasting love, for HE is love.
28. Ready for questions.
29. (Q) Is the entity fulfilling its mission in this experience? (A) Answer in self, by the patterns that have been shown thee. All may. For it, to do such, is the birthright of every soul; and they that sell their birthright for the gratifying or satisfying of appetites or self-indulgence, or self-glory do so to their own undoing.
30. (Q) Regarding the material affairs: The entity is employed by the federal government. Recently it has been reported that some government departments have been hiring political employees to take the place of civil service employees. Is this sort of thing likely to occur at the Interstate Commerce Commission where the entity works? (A) We do not find that such tactics or policies will enter that phase of departments or governmental activities in which the entity is employed. Rather is there the inclination for the activities in this special department to be more and more supervised by those who have shown themselves worthy. And this would indicate, then, the entity is secure - if it is desirous of remaining in the same character of work - for some two to three years; and with secure but may be advanced to a broader - field of service. For how hath it been measured, or how may it be measured to that given as the pattern?

"As ye sow, so shall ye reap."
31. (Q) The entity is concerned about the huge government debt, and the possibility that many government employees may be released from the service when another major business depression comes along. Would it be advisable for the entity to seek employment with some railroad or industrial concern, or with some organization like the Brookings Institution, within the next year or two? (A) Rather as we find - to be sure unless there are many, many changes we would advise to remain in the present associations. For as the entity has fulfilled and may fulfill a purpose in the present environ and present activity, it should fulfill that trust given.
32. (Q) Are all government employees likely to have their salaries materially reduced within the next two to four years because of adverse financial or business conditions? (A) Unless other circumstances arise, this does not appear to be plausible within the next two or three years. When in '41 or '42 there ARE those adjustments, in that very fear that is indicated or manifested by the entity, in the huge sums that are to be - like some of the loans by the government - "written off," as it were, THEN may there be expected to be a readjustment in the government employment and in a reorganization of the whole of the department in which the entity is giving service now. But not before '41 or '42, as we find from the shadows that are being cast by the activities in many of the governmental forces to be broken up; politically and through the struggles between labor and capital.
33. (Q) Based on the general price structure and the business conditions which existed in 1891 when certain astrological formations were similar to those which now prevail, the entity is expecting the current decline in security prices and the decline in business activity to reach their low points around the latter part of this year or in the first quarter of 1938, and thereafter the entity expects security prices and business conditions to go forward again for a year or two. Are these expectations likely to be correct or incorrect? (A) Correct AND incorrect; in this manner: As is known to the entity, there are causes and effects. While the astrological aspects are, as just indicated, shadows of impending influences in the affairs of individual activity, if there is the application of the will by the

individuals and groups in authority towards the more constructive influence in those fields of the demonstrating of the fruits of the spirit, then the more constructive, the more advance, the more development will ensue. As there is more and more a turn in the hearts and minds of the seekers to see and know the Face and the Purpose of the Creator or Maker with the sons of men, these then bring these constructive influences; and thus become that as the material answer Yes and No. For these ARE trying times. And know that there is no one in authority that has not been raised to same by the grace of Creative Forces. Each then is being given (that is an authority) the opportunity for expressing those purposes in his relationships and dealings with the fellow man - for the very reason of his abilities as a leader. Then do THOU that THOU KNOWEST to be the constructive experience in thy field, and trouble not thy mind or heart as to others. For the very thought of there becoming turmoil is OPENING the way FOR turmoil.
