Time of Reading 10:45 to 11:10 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. Washington, D.C.

1. GC: You will have before you the life existence in the earth plane of [816], born near Pattonsburg, Mo., on a farm, March 9, 1883, and the earthly existence of this entity as one of the Dillingham family in Missouri. You will give a biographical life of the entity in that day and plane of earthly existence, from entrance - and how - into the earth's plane, and the entity's departure, giving the development or retarding points in such an existence. You will then answer the questions he has submitted regarding that sojourn, and the influences in the present.

2. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now called [816], and the earthly experience of this entity as one of the Dillingham family.

3. During those experiences in the earthly existence of this land of the entity's present nativity, following the Revolution, we find that the entity's family - of one Arcturus Dillingham - left Chicago, or Fort Dearborn as called then, for the western lands.

4. Among the family of several children was one Claudius Dillingham, and better known as Tad Dillingham. That was the entity who is now known as [816].

5. The entity then was only some eight years old when the family moved to what is now known as Carthage, Missouri; or close to same.

6. There the entity grew to young manhood, and the activities were rather commonplace to the frontier life and the many changes wrought by the continued inflow of peoples and families to that particular portion of the land.

7. The entity was associated in its developing years with its companions, as well as those of its family and father, in the store, mill and the like; grist mill, as would be called, near Carthage mill or run - as indicated there, of a very old place.

8. There the entity met the peoples of the land, and the various questions which arose. The entity grew to be one of

816-11 Page 2

rather a prominent position as a leader, or one of affluence; not addicted to bad habits - only the natures, as would be called, in which individuals were being questioned as to their adherence to this or that activity as related to the questions of the day which arose.

9. The entity in its young and middle manhood came to be looked on as a counselor, as a judge. While not as the law, or recognized as state's authority, nor the territory nor government authority, the entity's activities were very much in keeping with such. And only when the entity turned such to that of self-aggrandizement; that is, taking advantage of the situation to improve the material gains for the entity, may it be counted as a period at all of loss - or lack of spiritual development.

10. Through the experience though not becoming so widely know, the entity among its own people, its own environs and surroundings, became one who was always looked to as an authority upon questions of exchange, or mediums of activity between those of various sections of the country, or between groups in various portions of the land.

11. For, the entity then was well read as to the abilities of the entity to obtain the publications of any sort or nature as might be obtained in that experience; and the determinations that these should all be under a central supervision, gives to the entity in the present the abilities as a judge and as an interpreter of situations, as to deal with interstate conditions, or the relationships of one section or portion of the country to another.

12. We find that the entity lived to be near to sixty years of age, and died of what is in the present called pneumonia, from exposure in the mill race in the attempt to save or to aid others who were in danger at the time.

13. As to the final resting place - this as we find was near to the old mill, nigh unto Carthage, Missouri.

14. This as we find was the earthly experience of the entity through that period, as Tad - or Claudius - Dillingham; Tad Dillingham as known throughout the experience.

15. Ready for questions.

16. (Q) In what year and at what place was the entity born? (A) As indicated, this will be found from the time given as to the change between Chicago and Dearborn, or from Dearborn to Chicago, following the American Revolution. Then the entity was eight years old.

17. (Q) Is there any marker to denote the place of burial? (A) No particular marker, though there may be found the old burying ground there, close to the mill on the hill - and

816-11 Page 3

there's a large apple tree in part of it.

18. (Q) What was the general appearance of the entity, as to coloring, height, and approximate weight at maturity? (A) This was as of a general frontiersman; medium height, the regular weight of a hundred and seventy-one (171) pounds; a beard over the face, and the general appearance of the woodsman or the Westerner.

19. (Q) What was the extent of the education? (A) As indicated, the greater portion of the education was of the general nature; not what would be called a common school education in the present - this would depend upon what was used as a comparison throughout. But, as indicated, the entity was well read as to ALL of the varied forms of associations, or laws, or connections with same, that the entity was able to attain or gain at that period. Though these were rather meagre, the entity was far advanced in comparison to its companions or neighbors or surroundings.

20. (Q) Was he a prominent citizen? (A) As indicated, he was outstanding at the period.

21. (Q) Did the entity get along well with the law? (A) As indicated, he was rather the representative of the law.

22. (Q) Is the entity influenced in the present by that experience in the earth? (A) As indicated, it gives the abilities of the entity in the judgements as in relationships to interstate relations between groups in various portions of the land, and such.

23. (Q) As to the present time, the entity is employed by a government Bureau at Washington, D.C. [See previous rdg. 816-10.] (A) Remain with same through the experience of the activities. For, as this was a choice, we might give, or DESIRE on the part of the entity for such in that experience before this, there should be the COMPLETION of same in the present. Until experiences arise in which other things would appear to be more helpful or beneficial, hold to that thou purposeth to do for thy people, for thy land, through the offices ye fill in the present.

24. (Q) Is this bureau likely to be abolished or drastically reorganized within the next two or three years? (A) Not likely to be abolished. There may be reorganizations with the activities, yet the abilities of the entity are such that it would be better fitted to serve in the capacities to which it would be advanced in such activities through a reorganization, as the changes in the general conditions of the land might be

precipitated.
