1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [821].
2. Now, as we find, there are conditions that may be materially aided in the physical functioning of this body. These conditions that may be aided are pertaining to the manner in which the assimilations may continue to become constructive and replenishing and rebuilding in the vitale and in the physical forces as related to the material activities of the body mentally and physically.
3. These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body, [821] we are speaking of, present in this room:
4. We find the BLOOD SUPPLY rather low in its vitality, slowed in its circulation through the extremities especially. And those tendencies for the drosses not to be removed through the organs of elimination have tended to make for reactions that become as heaviness to the body at times in the tiredness across portions of the torso, where there has been sympathetic reaction from the effect of operative forces which have left scar tissue; yet these are sympathetic. The drosses in the organs, as in the slowness of the liver's secretion (for it is both an excretory and secretive organ - thus becoming torpid), have caused in the digestive area and in the assimilation area the lack of the proper assimilations. Thus the blood supply becomes overcharged, and rather than at all times carrying the better life-producing or life-giving forces becomes rather negative in its activity. The pains that concur with the disorders through the functioning of the circulatory force through the activities of the spleen and the liver become rather as pains in the muscular forces, in the joints, in the extremities, in the head as a heavy dizziness. The poor digestive forces are a result of these sympathetic reactions.
5. In the NERVOUS FORCES of the body we find these are at
821-1 Page 2
times the cause, at others the result of these pressures that are seen from the tendencies for drosses to accumulate in the system. These, then, are conditions that with the proper stimulation and the proper upbuilding through that assimilated would become nearer to normal activities through the body.
6. As to the functioning of the ORGANS themselves, we find:
7. Brain forces are very good. The discernments are very good. There are periods when from the effect of toxic forces the body feels as if there is the lack of the ability to remember, or to think, or to separate conditions as they should be.
8. There are also those tendencies from the circulation to the head that becomes impaired; tendency for the nasal cavity, the antrum and the soft tissue in portions of the face and throat to cause unpleasantness and make for pressures in the system that affect the nerve system in these directions.
9. Lungs, bronchi and larynx, while not absolutely normal these are only affectations from sympathetic reactions.
10. In the heart's action we find this is a sympathetic condition and the pulsation that is quickened at times, the abnormalcies that occur at times in the pressures in the heart's action or in the metabolism are reflex conditions and not organic disturbances.
11. In the digestive area we find the greater effect, though - of course, as indicated from those necessary reactions from accumulations in portions of the abdominal area, where there are the tendencies for the accumulations to form, necessitating the changes in the system that were brought about, these tend to make for a slowing up of the quantity and the proper balance of the vital forces necessary in creating a balance in the digestive flows or in the lacteals and the gastric flow in the duodenum itself proper.
12. As there has been a smoothing of the walls, as it were, through the activities of the lymph circulation being used by the system in other portions of the body, this necessitates a stimulation to those areas in the system from which the organs themselves receive the impulse from the blood supply and the nerve forces for the proper energies or activities necessary to carry on the functioning of same. It is also necessary in the liver and the spleen in their activity for the excretory and secretive functioning that these perform in the activities of the body.
13. In those areas in the jejunum and colon themselves, while scar tissue and those activities there are effective,
821-1 Page 3
these are not the cause in the main; it is rather the torpidities of the system as related to the assimilations in the body itself.
14. Then, in making for those things that will bring about a better and more near normalcy for the body, and assist in being relieved from these tendencies of periodic reactions from the poor digestive forces, and the eliminations becoming near normal, we would begin in this manner:
15. First we would add in small quantities that which would create a better balance in the activity of the secretions of the glands throughout the system, in the form of the atomic iodine - known as Atomidine. This would be taken two minims in half a glass of water twice each day, of morning before the meal is taken and just before retiring of evening; for in this manner we have the reaction not only from the conscious activities during the periods of conscious reaction, but also through those periods when the SYMPATHETIC system is the more active in rest. This will also make those tendencies for the body to rest much better. Continue taking the Atomidine in this manner for periods of five to seven days; then have a period of rest - or leave it off a few days for the reaction of same; then take it again, and continue in such a manner until there have been three or four such rounds - with the rest period of a few days in between.
16. We would also have the Radio-Active Appliance that would be attached to the body for those periods of rest, and to make for the better coordinations between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal system and in the circulation to the extremities of the body. This we would take once or twice during each day, preferably as the body rests; not as it attempts to sleep, for periods of thirty minutes to an hour during a day, each day. If necessary take it at other periods. Do not allow connections to become loosened, and be sure to keep the plates or anodes or the applications clean. This will bring strength and better vitality for the body.
17. About twice each week we would have a general massage along the system with a combination of ingredients that may supply food, as it were, to the ganglia through the absorption rather than through taking properties into the system that become detrimental to other portions of the body. The ingredients would be put together in this manner:
18. To 4 ounces of Olive Oil as a carrier, we would add: Russian White Oil.................1 ounce, Witchhazel........................1 ounce,
821-1 Page 4
Cedar Oil.........................1 ounce, (of cedar wood, NOT the cedar nut) Oil of Pine.....................1/2 ounce.
19. This we would shake together, as it will tend to separate, when a small quantity is poured into an open saucer to be massaged into the spinal system. And especially massage this over the locomotory centers, as from the 12th dorsal to the end of the spine, at the 9th dorsal center, the brachial plexus center, and the hypogastric and pneumogastric center, or in the 3rd and 4th cervical, 1st, 2nd and 3rd dorsal, 9th dorsal, 12th dorsal, and to the 4th lumbar and sacral area. This will tend to rest the body and to make for better activity throughout the whole of the system.
20. We would find that a NOMINAL amount of exercise if the more helpful, in the open. This is necessary for the better activity of the oxidizations through the action of the respiratory system.
21. In the diet keep to those foods that are of the alkalin-reacting nature. Not at any time great quantities of meat, and never any fried meats or fried foods of any kind. Preferably use the whole wheat or whole meal to the white flour or white bread.
22. These, as we find, will make for the better conditions of this body, [821].
23. Ready for questions.
24. (Q) Should I have the oil mixture for massaging filled by a local druggist, or should I get the ingredients and put them together myself? (A) You can get the ingredients and put them together yourself. This treatment, as well as all the rest, may be applied in the own home.
25. (Q) The inflammation in the intestines is due to the non-assimilation of foods? (A) Due to the non-assimilation, or an overflow of the acids into the intestinal tract and the lack of sufficient amount of the lymph circulation to carry off these without producing irritation and strain and drainage - as from great amount of activity or lifting - makes for such heaviness and discharges as to be very discomforting.
26. (Q) Is there anything specific to eliminate the gas? (A) As we find, with the adherence to rather the alkalin-producing foods and these rubs as indicated, with the atomic iodine (Atomidine) active upon the glands, this will disappear gradually. If it becomes too discomforting, of course the use of a non-acid such as Al-Caroid, Alkazar (?) or Citrocarbonate, will reduce the acidity.
821-1 Page 5
27. (Q) Please outline a specific diet. (A) This may be used as an outline, though - of course - it is only an outline and may be changed or altered to suit the needs: Mornings - citrus fruit juices, with brown bread; or stewed fruits or fresh fruits or the like. At times the yolk of a coddled egg may be taken, if so desired. Also coffee or tea may be taken, or the like, PROVIDED it is taken without sugar OR milk. Noons - preferably green raw vegetables. At times such a salad may be altered with the vegetable juices, though these will tend at times to make for a gas formation provided they have greases or the like in same. Evenings - the green vegetables that are well-cooked; a little fish, fowl or lamb may be taken as the meats or broths. Not too great a quantity of starches other than may be had from the vegetables or the fruits or nuts or the like. Not too much pastry, but natural quantity of sugar, natural quantity of wines would be HELPFUL to the body if taken ONLY with bread; for this produces an activity that is body, blood and nerve building, but wine taken in excess - of course - is harmful; wine taken with bread alone is body, blood and nerve and brain building.
28. (Q) Any particular kind of wines that would be best? (A) That which is well fermented, or grape juices or the like; these are the better, not too much of the sour nor too sweet a wine. Tokay, Port, Sauterne.
29. (Q) Would you advise in my physical condition that I try to return to government work? (A) We would not before the coming fall. For, if these treatments as suggested are applied, well - you'll be ten to twenty years younger!
30. (Q) Any other advice? (A) Do these things and, as we find, we will find strength and vitality and a much nearer normal physical body for the mental and spiritual to work through. Be consistent. Be persistent. And we will see the results.
