Time of Reading 3:15 to 3:45 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Washington, D.C. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [826], present in this room.

2. Now, as we find, while the body is very good in many respects, there are conditions that if they were corrected in the present from the basis or the causes of same, rather than from the effects produced, we would find a normal body and a much better outlook upon the experiences of the body in a physical, mental and a spiritual manner.

3. These conditions that disturb have their basis of disturbance in impoverishment to some glands in the system, and through this produce effect upon certain portions of the body in their reflex action - as we shall see.

4. Then, these are the conditions as we find them with this body, [826] we are speaking of, present in this room:

5. The BLOOD SUPPLY we find shows the effects of a disturbed circulation, causing a deeper internal circulation than capillary or that which is in the torso is in excess to that in extremities. And at periods we have those reactions that arise, as ordinarily termed, from infectious forces that disturb the tendon and muscular forces in arm or limbs and in portions of the body that bring some distress. In the activity of the blood itself, then, it is not so much in regard to its activity with the organs in the internal system as the character of those impulses carried in the circulation.

6. As to the NERVOUS SYSTEM, we find this - where disturbances arise as in the portions of the system indicated - is reflexly affected rather than being the cause of the disturbances; though at times the conditions in soft tissue in face and head, and those passages in the antrum and in the upper and lower both, and the effect to the throat, these are classified as being of a nervous condition. But they are more of a catarrhal condition, from the lack of the proper circulation and the proper conditions

826-1 Page 2

being carried in such ways and manners as to produce the proper eliminations. These same formations or catarrhal forces find their activity in the mucous membranes of the system, so that the disturbances through the digestive system that arise are a portion of these influences in the body. And these, causing an acidity and a character of disturbance in the liver and the spleen, make for disturbances in the organs - though these are reflex and not organic.

7. So, in the ORGANS themselves with this body, [826], we are speaking of, we find these conditions existent:

8. Brain forces are very good.

9. Organs of the sensory system are affected by those activities of this slowed circulation by impairments to the general functioning of glands in the thyroids, the adrenals, the lacteals, those in the soft tissue even in portions of the body - as indicated. These tend to make for positions or conditions where infectious forces attack the lymph in its activity through the system. Hence we will find periods when there are some distresses to the organs of the sensory system, because of the lack of circulation caused by those tendencies for ganglia along those coordinating centers from the cerebrospinal and sympathetic to become aggravated by the conditions of pressures in same, without the proper incentive or impulse from those activities to be carried on nominally.

10. Throat, bronchi, lungs and larynx are as an effect; no organic disturbance. There have been periods in the experience when the lungs have shown infectious forces, but these have been builded in such measures and manners as to be only sympathetically affected, from a disturbance in gland and circulatory system.

11. Heart's action, save at such periods when there is a building up in the metabolism of the system to meet the needs, produces a pressure on certain portions in the ganglia of the system such as to cause a disturbance there. Hence no organic but a functional disturbance in the system.

12. Digestive area, as to the activities of the stomach - we find that in the cardiac portion and in the pyloric portion at times both have been disturbed such as to make for aggravations from the very influences of those activities as indicated. Yet these will, as we find, with the proper stimulations or administrations for a balancing of these conditions, produce and bring about a much bettered condition and prevent a great deal of disturbance in the body later on.

13. The liver, the spleen, pancreas, gall duct, lacteal

826-1 Page 3

ducts - as indicated, all of these have at times made for periods when worriment, or worry in the body, has been aggravating to the whole of the system, causing periods when the least excuses would be MAGNIFIED in the mind and activity to such an extent as to cause the reflexes to be disturbing to the whole body.

14. In the jejunum and the colon area, here again we find - from those effects of a cold and congestion, that has existed at times in the system, and the effect of a disturbed system with the tendencies as indicated - there have been periods when these, too, have had their portion and their part in the disturbing factors; as also has the hepatic circulation.

15. Then, in meeting the needs of the conditions in this body, as we find, we would add to the system those elements that will make for a creating of an activity in the gland supply; changing, as it were, the elements so that there is more of an iodinic reaction and less of the potash or potassiums. This will make for the gradual correcting of the secretions from the glands, that will strengthen and build up the body. Then, with the application of those vibrations that will make for creating of a balance in the system, we would find these would bring about a normal force for the body itself.

16. To be sure, there are those conditions locally that should be considered, but not other than in a manner to coordinate with the administrations of those influences within the body as indicated that would be cooordinant; as in the antrum and in the nasal passages. So, we would use occasionally those properties that would be combined in this manner - in the order given:

17. To 4 ounces of pure grain alcohol, add: Oil of Eucalyptol..................20 minims, Rectified Oil of Turp...............5 minims, Tincture of Benzoin................15 minims, Rectified Creosote..................4 minims, Tolu in solution...................40 minims. Put this in a container - at least a six to eight ounce container, so there is sufficient space above solution for natural evaporation when this is kept where it is warm; as close to a radiator or above a mantle shelf or the like. When ready to use, shake well together and then inhale direct into the nostril - either side - and into the throat and lungs. This is an ANTISEPTIC solution, yet - with the properties penetrating as they do - will bring healing to

826-1 Page 4

the tissue itself that HAS been involved, preventing cold and congestion, as well as the other properties that may be added.

18. We would take internally the atomic iodine, called Atomidine; two minims in half a glass of water before the morning meal, and two minims just before retiring in the evening. Take this for periods of ten days, then rest or leave it off for a period of three days; then take it again for ten days and then take a rest period of three days. Repeat this whole procedure for three, four or five rounds, until there is the proper reaction. And we will find those conditions in the system, as the reactions from the adrenals, in the lower hepatic circulation, to the bladder and to the kidneys and the system itself, will be materially aided - as WELL as the thyroids, the glands in the digestive system, and those activities throughout the whole body itself.

19. Also each day for a period of a month at a time - thirty day periods and a rest period of ten days, then another thirty day period and then leaving it off for ten days, then another thirty day period - we would use those vibrations from the Radio-Active Appliance, to the opposite poles of the body, or extremities, each time it is applied. To the left wrist and right ankle, to the right wrist and the left ankle. This we would take preferably as the body rests just before retiring; and we will have little or no disturbance with those tendencies for insomnia or for the keeping awake.

20. Keep the diet rather tending toward an alkalin reaction. This would be as an outline, though - to be sure - other conditions would be used at times to alter or change the diet:

21. Mornings - citrus fruit juices, or stewed fruits, or a cereal. Do not mix citrus fruit juices with ANY cereal, or take at the same meal. When stewed fruits are taken, possibly they may be used with the cereal - or FRESH fruit may be used on cereal. Ovaltine or Sanka coffee would be much preferable to the strong coffee, for this body.

22. Noons - or luncheons - preferably raw green vegetables combined into a salad; such as tomatoes, lettuce, celery, peppers, radishes, onions, spinach, and those things of such natures. An oil or a salad dressing may be taken with same; also either whole wheat crackers or any of such natures that are preferable to the white bread. Preferably NO white bread at any time.

23. Evenings - (if the main meal or dinner is taken then) vegetables, principally those that are grown above the ground; though, to be sure, carrots and parsnips and the

826-1 Page 5

like may be included. Preferably raw white cabbage and cooked red cabbage, that carry more of the vitamins necessary. These should be cooked in their own fluids, rather than as ordinarily boiled or with meats. Preferably these should be seasoned with salt and pepper and butter, rather than meats - and will be found to be much more agreeable to the body. All the green vegetables and those of the pod nature are very good. If meats are used, let these consist of such as lamb, fowl or fish. At least one meal each week (in the meats) should consist of liver or tripe, because of the blood purifying that these make for the body.

24. Do these, consistently, persistently, and we will correct the disturbing factors and save many a period of anxiety, and make for normal forces with this body, [826].

25. Ready for questions.

26. (Q) A blow in the front of the throat injured my vocal chords and singing voice. Can my voice be restored to normal? (A) The purifying of the activities throughout the whole of the sympathetic forces, as from the clarifications of the breathing into the body those fumes (only, of course, the inhalations) will STRENGTHEN same; as well as those vibrations to equalize the circulation will aid materially.

27. (Q) My eyes were injured by swimming in water chemically treated. Can my eyes be strengthened? (A) Through the same applications as indicated. There are sympathetic reactions. These will be materially aided.

28. (Q) Are my kidneys in a healthful condition, and if not, what can be done to improve them? (A) As indicated, there is the reflex activity of the catarrhal condition that has existed throughout the body by an impaired circulation through portions of the body. With the taking of the properties indicated (the Atomidine), and these activities to equalize the circulation (Radio-Active Appliance), we will bring normalcy here.

29. (Q) How can I improve the growth of hair on my head? (A) First, do not eat Irish potatoes; that is, the pulp, but DO eat the skins of same, and that which is very close to the skins. Also the skins of apples (that are cooked; NOT raw), the skins of apricots and a portion of same, these supply elements for the activity with the thyroids, that produce for the body the activities of the hair, the nails, and those portions of the system. Then, with the stimulating to the glands as indicated, these will make for stimulations to same. Use as a massage the crude oil, cleansing same with a twenty percent solution of GRAIN alcohol; not denatured or wood

826-1 Page 6

alcohol, but GRAIN alcohol; and massage into the scalp small quantities of the White Vaseline. These will stimulate growth. [See 826-1, Par. R2.]

30. (Q) How much sleep do I require? (A) From seven and a half to eight hours.

31. (Q) How much and what kind of exercise is best for me? (A) That which is in the open should be that used with the extremities of the body, more than the torso of the body; as walking, swimming, and any outdoor exercise would be the better. As to how much - that which will make for the body PHYSICALLY becoming SOMEWHAT tired, will be the better; not overly so, that you undo much that we are building up - but this will make for the better conditions.

32. (Q) How can I overcome tendency to increase my weight? (A) Keep the proper balance of the activities of the glands in the system. The body naturally should put on SOME more weight, but let this be a normal amount and more of the muscular and nerve forces that are body-building, than excess fat.

33. (Q) What should be a normal weight for this body? (A) A hundred and forty-seven to a hundred and fifty-six.

34. (Q) How long should this treatment be continued? (A) Until we find there is the near normal activity of the glands; all of those suppressions and tendencies as indicated have disappeared. Then, should some of these recur, a portion of those as indicated would be reviewed again. Thus we may KEEP a balance, without outside influences. We will have fewer colds, fewer repressions through the system, and - as indicated - a normal body.

35. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (Atomidine is manufactured by The Atomidine Co., 64 Sidney Ave., Mt. Vernon, N.Y. $1 bottle. See letter [which was enclosed] to Druggist for preparing inhalant.)
